The app is very limited, I searched for Cassowary one of the most iconic species endemic to northern Queensland and it didn't even have that, so disappointing.
What, no brush turkey? Red tailed black cockatoo? Glossy Black? A good start but so many missing species make it hardly useful as a field guide.
Such a limited selection of species renders this app mostly useless. It has had only 1 of 5 invertibrates I looked up and only 2 of 3 birds
it is excellent but i expected more animal in it. is a very limited amount of specimens.
It is a great app and I emailed the developers requesting for it to be updated.
Needs more wildlife stuff incude all over Australia
Premier Chook has obviously decided that funding to maintain this app is not important when she has Olympics to be spending hundreds of millions on for her retirement photo ops
Fantastic must have really awesome
Ok, but needs an update.
Very useful! Considering its a free app its fantastic. It would be nice if one could browse the species by geographical region, that would help to explore some endemic species etc
Can you please change the health risk of black flyong foxes to the same at grey headed flying fox or any of the other bat listed? Blacks are not disproportionately more 'dangerous' than any other species of Australian bats. Thank you
The app has helped me on the little bush walks we take with our sons. We have identified many birds. 100% recommended for anyone even remotely interested in our beautiful fauna. Thanks Qld museum for the wonderful work you do!!
Very usefull! but i miss a lot of species, specially native bees.
Useful but missing quite a few species
Good information but missing a lot of species
A great resource. Thank you.
Learned a lot about Aus animals. Good app.
Keeps stopping
Great for a free app for general use. I have the hard-copy books too which are a lot more detailed but less practical to carry around every day. It's great the amount of free information we have easy access to.
Navigation and authoritative content combine to make this a great resource! and its free.
Very limited - too much so to be useful.
I find more birds & photos with "BBI BIRD GUIDE"
The number of species missing makes this app barely useful
Very cool app :-)
Great for family use
Its heaps sick aye
Does it show huntsman spiders?
Loved it
Its a good app, except that it hasn't been updated since 2016 and it's Nov. 2019. Would be swell if it was updated more often, at least monthly. Other than that, good app.
