Constantly has tasks running in the background, and syncs throughout the entire day and night. They charge both you and the customer for work orders (shady), and won't let you use your own insurance unless you list them on it....I don't have to do this for any other company I contract for. It's unfortunate because I have to use them to fill in some gaps. I'm impatiently waiting for a better contracting app/service to breakthrough. UPDATE 3/14/22: App won't open unless I uninstall and reinstall.

It seems like this application is still constantly having issues and newest issues were first it basically for a few weeks would never open and never starts, just has the spinning circle on the first screen. Had to close the app, go and open the installed apps listing, force stop the app, restart the app and then get it to start up. Now it seems to be starting, but can't stay logged in at least every other time you open it, you have to type in Username and password before doing anything. Coding and TESTING needs to be much better. Will see if the problems continue with March update and newest version.

Someone keeps messing with this damn thing trying to fix a bug. How about you're working with Technicians, we don't need it to look pretty but it's definitely got to work. There is no stability, the issue 8m having changes every day, from not staying signed in, to uploads failing because I'm on the phone with the support asking me to upload the picture. Just make it work, only since you've tried to be touchy, feely, like FB have you started having issues and don't work.

Often not working. This is a serious problem since one needs the app in order to do a work order. For the last week the app never gets past the splash screen. I have a big Field nation job coming up and if can't use the app I won't be able to do it. There's something wrong with a company that is completely dependent on a smartphone app and either won't or is incapable of getting it to work right.

This app needs a lot of work. Maybe they should use that 13.9% fee they charge for the total workorder cost (Yes, including expenses you need to get reimbursed on) and hire some competent UX programmers. Having to give a reason for every single counteroffer is useless and time-consuming. When a buyer (company) sends a message to the provider (techs), it sends the message to all that applied. Not being able to counteroffer on bundles needs to be fixed. Crashes when I type descriptive notes.

I have to uninstall and reinstall for EVERY JOB this is not an exaggeration. Clearing cache and data doesn't help. And like other reviews, when it does decide to work constantly synchs and runs constantly in background. Im not sure what its doing it background, its not uploading pics successfully I know that.

The app has become useless. If you type more than 2 sentences it starts freezing and it freezes up whole phone until you force close. Work around is to do closeout notes on notepad or use field nation site. I have to reload field nation all the time because it opens with 0 jobs available or assigned half the time. Really frustrating.

The UI is easy to manage even if the mobile app has some faults with job scope customization. The information is layed out in front so it's really up to the user to find it. Companies listed on here have had a good level of communication and job scope listed

Hey, why can't I dismiss FN notification on my phone's drop down menu? So I get tons of notifications and none of them matter because I can't dismiss them, so i can't select them. I'd have to go to the site for every of hundreds of notifications that do not apply to me. No way to dismiss. But the way, I appreciate y'all getting me paid for a job which was delinquent. Techs note that this was a 3 day ticket which was eventually paid in full due to FN support. I know it's the exception, but..

In 2018, this app was flawless. In 2019, a new CEO was brought on board. Since then however starting in late 2019, this app has been going STRAIGHT DOWNHILL. In 2022, the issues are even worse. Bugs, can't login, features that are meaningless to those of us out in the field working being added and the bugs not being addressed. Yeah, from where I'm standing their new leader, needs to move on. I don't believe in coincidences. Their support also started to go downhill after he came on board as well

Until the "can't connect to servers" issue is resolved this app is only getting 1 star. It is frustrating to waste so much time with a buggy app when you are trying to complete a work assignment. Updated April 2022 Server errors seem to be gone so moving my rating up a bit.

4-21-22 FN finally got the .PDF issue resolved after almost A YEAR. Now the app is making me fill in my User Name and Password almost every time. FN support is blaming my Android/ Google setting, but other users are having the same problem. 11-9-21 Still will not download a .PDF attached to a WO... says that the file is corrupted. I call FN support and the rep said to install Adobe Reader, but that didn't work. I have to log in with a browser to get the PDF to download.

REVIEW FOR APP ONLY NOT SERVICE! The service seems awesome even though I haven't actually got any work yet. The app itself is horrendous none of the notifications work the messaging system doesn't work at all! I can't see any messages even though I have new ones, my profile is always just blank, impossible to create one. it's almost the point of unusable I have to do everything through the website, it would be nice if the app worked. I've missed opportunities due to the broken messaging!

Have to sign in almost every time I open the app. This is totaly not acceptable. The app suppose to help as to work and not spend time for signing in every time we open the app. I have LG and Samsung phones, same thing on both phones.

Does not keep you signed in anymore. Sense last update, freezes will not allow you to upload photos half the time or load work orders. The app is pretty much unusable and for a company that is just a platform, the platform should atleast work.

Every time they update, it gets worse. Idk what you guys are doing, and maybe it's on the back end, but the app is unusable most of the time. It doesnt load. Get it to work, and then stop messing with it.

App keeps getting worse with new updates. Doesn't allow profile to load. Payment section only loads when the app is installed. Not sure if files are broken but I have missed out on work due to profile being defective. I'm using Android 11. Uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times, wifi and cell connection same issue. Cleared cache and storage, all the steps support asks. This app is truly broken.

This app has not worked correctly for well over a month since their last big update. As of the last few days it will not even open. I was told it was an Android version 12 problem but have my doubts since this seems to be happening with most phones based on what I am reading through the reviews. I have a suggestion...get rid of the updates and go back to what was working months ago. Are you going to get this app fixed? I have to uninstall and reinstalled several times a day to get to work....

Background message reception still works, but the ENTIRE interactive part of main app freezes EVERY TIME on the opening logo screen, since the FORCED Verizon 31Mar2022 Android update. This affects probably 20,000 of your users; Please fix your application!

Originally rated Field Nation with 5 stars in August 2020, but after the last few MONTHS of basically a useless app and being forced to mostly use their website if I want to get any work orders completed. The app now will only let me do any kind of work for MAYBE 10-15 MINUTES before it freezes up to a solid white screen!!! Then the ONLY WAY to get 10 more minutes is to uninstall then reinstall. EVERY SINGLE FREAKING DAY. It's so aggravating and RIDICULOUS.

This latest update is horrendous. The app refuses to save my login information. Not that my password and username is not saving, instead the app will not load my profile. It shows work orders, allows me to read them, but always gives an error. When I go to check my profile from the left side menu, its just spinning indicating loading. I'm having to use my mobile browser instead. Fix this!!

**UPDATE 3/23/22** APP IS NOW UNUSABLE & WILL NOT LOAD ANYTHING!! Used to work really well in 16-17 the app Hangs on a white screen when loading WOs and when backing out of a WO, Has to reload WOs every time, No offline mode like previous versions, it could let you check in or add closeout notes a few years ago. App will log you out randomly saying your password is incorrect, WOs are not kept loaded if you lose internet having no way to contact customer or view WO description or address.
