App crashes constantly and won't save anything. Haven't ever been able to connect my fieldpiece Bluetooth tools to the app. Couldn't possibly be worse. Conceptually it's perfect but don't waste your time. Call the app dept and they don't answer the phone or return your call so all the money you spend on these wireless devices is wasted.

As far as I'm concerned this app owes me a jl3pr! Tried to update my tools since it kept saying there was an update available. Thought it might make them work better! Boy, was I wrong! While updating one of my probes, I noticed that it was stuck on 0% progress. So I sat the phone and probe in the van and came back 30 min later and nothing had changed! So I hit "cancel"... now my probe won't turn on and is basically junk. A failed update should NEVER ruin your tool! Thanks.

The app used to be great when it worked, now you can't share reports or do much of anything without crashing and the support is a waste of time that just repeats the same useless information over and over with no change to app operation and then closes the claim. I see the latest update changed the app icon, maybe it would be better to fix the app rather than waste time doing cosmetic changes no one cares about, if the app isn't fixed soon we will be done paying the subscription to use it.

All was working fine until the new upgrade came have troubles with the system not linking to the phone. Was a at a job a week earlier all checked out fine when diagnosing it went back with part to replace hooked up all my tools and non read at the same time. Will read head press but no temporary suct press. Or other way around hard to do work like this.

The fact that the developers removed the ability to put the app into Bluetooth only mode makes these $400 probes unusable on 3/4 of the commerical clients I service. Less than 10 months after I bought them they are practically paper weights. Reinstate Bluetooth only mode or this app makes the tools pretty much unusable.

Major app update. Looks better...but, there are some issues. 1. I can't figure out how to trend superheat and subcooling. I would like to see a graph. 2. When my temperature and pressure sensors loose communication the last recorded reading is maintained on the screen. There is no notification that the data is inaccurate. Perhaps having it fade to grey after 30 seconds would be a nice way to show that there is an issue.

Just updated the application, had no options for keeping the old one. Now the application is non functional, cannot select refrigerant type without being kicked off. The old saying of it's not broken do not fix it should apply here. I like the features, just wish it was as stable as testo which I have been using for the last six years. Ended up uninstalling the app and reinstalled app,. Appears to function. Time will tell if working properly, will update score if it's an improvement.

Surprisingly bad, won't work without internet. I live and service units in rural areas, often in basements or crawlspaces. This app just won't work without an internet, which is frustrating because it shouldn't need internet, just Bluetooth. For reference, my phone is a new KYOCERA duraforce pro 2. When the app does work though, it's really handy and intuitive.

The app crashes every time I try to open settings. I cant see the refrigerant pressures. This app is worthless since the update. Im going to call Fieldpiece and complain again for the 5th time.

Saved up to buy a sm480v now with this new update I can't seem to be able to connect to a brand new piece of equipment. Very sad and disappointed. Few weeks have gone by and still not working just accepting the fact this app will not work for me. Very disappointed as the app used to work so well before the update. Case of fix it until it's broken

App is super unreliable current issue is now the app will not connect to any of the probes. This is getting to the point that you need to carry your regular set of gauges to get the job done.

It won't connect anymore. I tried cleaning cache and data, with no good results. Whatever they are doing, it just makes it worse. Now I have 6 paperweight.

I agree with the others. After the most recent update it is junk, and no it hasn't been fixed. Tech support has told me deleting the app data and reinstalling the app will fix the problem but it has not. Try not being able to send a report on a system to the customer and decide if you are satisfied. Please fix the problem or refund my subscription.

I've have the tools for 7 months now and was only able to connect twice. Since the new update/look to the app I can't connect at all. $600 waste of money.

Was working - now crashes. Nothing worse than showing up to work, being told you have 6 maintenances, then finding out on your first one an hour from the city that the app now crashes and no longer works. So how do I take gas pressure? That's a damn good question ...

Works great on the S21 after last update. Developers were extremely responsive with my issue too. 6 days after contacting them they released an update that fixed the bug!

I've been using the app for about a year without issue. The app stopped functioning after a forced update to what should have been a beta version. The app is now functional again as of 2/1/22. I gave a rating of 5 stars based on my past experience and how quickly the issue was resolved. I highly recommend thoroughly testing any new versions before releasing as a major upgrade and especially not forcing an upgrade. Many people depend on this app for service work and it needs to function.

After the most recent update the app has gone to complete garbage. It is unusable in so many ways that worked fine 2 days ago. All the update seems to be is a change that adds a paid option as if the tools themselves weren't already hundreds of dollars. I ended up having to use a different app just to use my tools. Just a pathetic money grab it seems but I could be wrong

I love the fieldpiece wireless probes but this app is horrendous. Tools constantly lose connection or wont even connect to the tools when I'm right next to them. I'm extremely disappointed in fieldpiece for not putting any serious effort in creating an app that actually works properly.

New update on the app has no electrical side or weight scale side. This is mainly what I use it for. Why do an update and get rid of half of what it's designed for??? Update, I emailed developer, firstly I know how to use the app, I don't need it explained like I'm 5. You completely ignored the issue. After the reply I opened the app and it had updated again and the tabs are now available. Still a single star. Mainly for your response.

It's fine except for 1 thing. How does this app not have an option to remain logged in? It's ridiculous to have techs punching in log in info with dirty hands while the sun is beating down on you. Just horrible.

Does not work with android devices!!!! Have done everything and it doesn't work even got a new phone and still don't work.

This app will not even start on my pixel 6. I have deleted it and redownloaded it multiple times. I needed to work to do my job. Unfortunately I have invested a lot of money in field peace equipment that needs this app. This update is junk.
