Fighter Verses

This app is great and certainly helps my efforts to memorize God's word. There are two minor issues that don't generally affect day to day use, but are frustrating when they occur: 1) The app frequently checks for licensure, so if I'm not connected to the internet I can't use it. 2) There is no account sign in or data back up capability, so when I get a different device I have to try to remember where each verse is in the review schedule and manually set everything back up

Fighter versus is my favorite memory verse app for many reasons. First the app has many different games to help memorize scripture. Second it helps you review scriptures you already memorized so you don't forget them.. Also after the app crashed about a month ago . The developer was quick to respond, and fixed the problem. I haven't had any more problems after that one time. Thank you for this well designed app

The user interface and content are excellent, but this app is unsuitable for anyone who has limited access to the internet due to its over frequent checking for a license key (about every other day!). This renders the app unusable if you aren't consistently online when using it.

Wonderful Resource for Memorizing Scripture! I use this app with my children, and the scripture songs are a huge hit with them! I love the different Scripture verse collections, the topical index and the fighter verse schedule! I am getting ready to use it tonight with my kids before they go to sleep. I am so thankful to the Lord for this wonderful app and how it helps me memorize God's Word. I highly recommend it to all!!!

This App is great until you choose to add verses from a diferent version. I used LABLA and RV1960 and it gives me a bunch of simbols instead of the verse. I contacted support, renistalled the app and paid for a different version and the problem is still there. Very disappointed since the rest of the app works great.

Verses chosen are sermon inspirationional. I was extremely happy with this purchase. Perhaps, all needed is dark mode setting or amoled and being able to change font styles....been over a year now and I was pleased with Nov 2021 update so I think you're going the right direction.

Great app, but need to update the widget to be resizable. It's unusable on most devices due to the weird size. Make it shorter, or better yet please make it adjustable. I would honestly use the app more if the asthetics of the widget were better.

In reply to the reply. No, it REALLY DOESN'T have spaced repetition. It isn't true. You have to change it yourself MANUALLY each time for each verse at the end of your review, and somehow remember which verses you knew and which you messed up. Impossible. And the choices are weekly or monthly, it doesn't give you the choice to review after two or three or 10 days etc. This is what it would do automatically if it were based on spaced repetition. It doesn't allow you to input whether you knew the verse or not, so it cannot possibly use spaced repetition which bases the day of next review on an algorithm based on whether you knew the answer or not. This program does NOT take into account whether you know the answer or not. Please don't pass it for what it isn't. --- Here's the original comment - It has potential, but for me it is almost useless as it DOESN'T use spaced repetition, in which you tell the program whether you knew the answer or not. So it doesn't know which verses you struggle with and which ones you know. It should give you the verses you don't know to review and the one you know keep for later, but as it does not do this it is quite unusable as it keeps asking you the verses you know and you build up tooooo many verses to review. It NEEDS to be changed to the spaced repetition method for it to be usable. It is too bad because other than that it is a very nice program. Please change this. Especially as a paid app for memorization it seems obvious it should have spaced repetition, it is quite frustrating. Also although it allows you to make folders of verses by topic, it doesn't allow you to review those folders separately. If I want to review the weak verses in my evangelism folder before I go for an outreach, for example, I can't. I must review all the verses that I already know and don't know also in all other categories. I need a way to focus on evangelism verses only from time to time.

I generally like this app, except now that I bought a new phone I can't find a way to copy my progress from my old phone, UPDATE: I am still unable to migrate my progress to my new phone after working with the developer. Both phones were Google phones (one a Nexus, the other a Pixel) running stock Android. There's no export or edit method so I'm stuck with restarting the review process. My question is whether I'll restart on the Fighter Verses app or on another app. Likely it will be another app because I imagine that I'll be changing phones again before the end of the 5 year span of the Fighter Verse program. Lowered rating from 3 stars to 2 stars.

The app does not work it keeps closing. I reset the cache and Uninstalled with a fresh re-install with no avail. I contacted support to see what's going!? 1/6/21 Thanks for responding back to me and fixing the issue. You all are Awesome! God bless you

Wanted to use the Google Voice input of the Google Gboard to be able to quiz Typing level 5 and it fills in the words as I speak. But it only fills up the first box and does not automatically fill in the rest of the boxes. Could you implement this?

New phone synced with old... but, how to transfer memorized progress and personal verses? Surely we don't start over? Android 11. Everything was backed up to my Google account, and yet this app failed to properly restore. Now I must manually update, breaking the verse review cycle. Sad.

I want to cancel my app and I don't see how. It's not in my subscription but it did take it out of my account. I don't have nothing negative to say. It just wasn't for me. Thanks!

Can't use it offline, which makes the fighting idea kinda lacking. Otherwise, it does everything you could want. It would be a five star app, except for the offline part. Not everyone lives in a city.

I'm disappointed that I'm unable to connect to the blog on the Android version. i never had any issies when using the iPhone version. The quizzes do assist in thé memorization process.

This is a fantastic Scripture memory tool I have used for years. It's helped me keep God's words within my mind and heart. The home screen widget is especially useful as a reminder of keeping God first, before any other distractions.

It has helped me a lot to learn verses i like. I would give them 5 stars if they add something a backup and restore function. I think that is a very important feature in almost any app these days.

I recommend a dark theme if you can find the time to add a few lines of code, it will help a lot of people use the app for longer periods of time as well as not blinding the visually impaired folks like myself. (Honestly i dont use ANY apps without a dark theme, and didnt use fb much either til my phone updated to android pie and i now have dark fb.) Bible apps, theology books, they are all dark theme or i dont use them. Thanks for understanding.

Is there anyway to get push notifications or any notifications at all?? I need the app to remind me instead of me going into the app. I have checked all settings and I don't get push notifications or any notifications at all to remind me and I have the option ticked. The app is good but without push notifications what's the use for someone who forgets to memorize or review verses??

I love this. Exactly what I wanted / needed. It provides the structure that I was failing to put in place myself. A BIG thank you to everyone behind this app!

A great tool to memorize scripture, just wish that memorising where the verse was from in the Bible was also included. I've found that I know heaps of verses, but forget where they are actually located in the Bible.

Great app for memorizing. Really Like that I could put my own verses in and get all the quizzes, songs, and/or teachings !

Great memorization tools! Simple and straightforward. You can also add your own verses in the My verses section.

I love the songs they have to memorize scripture! I'm so sad though that my phone is having trouble loading it so I'm not able to use it right now. 😢

The app was having an issue causing it to fail to open but the developer has fixed the issue. This is a great app for memorizing scripture.

Good evening, I am from Ghana. Purchased app and have enjoyed using it. But since the last update ie. this year I have not be able to load this app again. Please can you help fix this? I use a Nokia 8.
