Fails to load prototypes, except for extremely simple ones. And if it loads it it crashes as soon I touch anything on the screen. Mirroring doesn't work either, it gets stuck on a black screen forever.
It's the worst developed app ever even if it is the best design software on pc. Worst experience whenever you mirror the app crashes irritated a lot neither there is good Ux or functionality. Would never recommend this app.
It's great that you no longer need to run the desktop version of Figma to view prototypes on your phone. However, mirroring is still a sluggish experience, and I often find myself killing the app to restart mirroring as this fails once you've casted a screen your phone goes on standby or locks itself. All you see after that is a blank screen with a loading state, or the cached screen that won't link out to another screen or perform an interaction anymore.
I'm using a Samsung S22 and having a weird experience - not all vectors (shapes and text) are seen on the screen when mirroring. I can't even understand why it happens and why i even have to deal with that :) Before this device, i was using a Xiaomi T9 and all worked perfect.
Finally! Opens prototype without opening the file! But improvement still required, a lot of freeze during a prtotyping. Cheers, figma! Update: (03/apr/22) when logged in, sometimes no files/prototypes seen.. and still 😭😭😭
Great idea, but it doesn't work well. Can't even navigate through the pages of a project without it crashing constantly or not displaying the content.
I love Figma, and use it everyday for work. But this app have a problem, they not showing all the element on Tablet, some element are missing when mirroring or open the file. Please fix this, I really need it. Thanks!
Love that there's a dedicated app to screen prototypes but have experienced consistent connection issues. Way too much lag for demoing animations or transitions and recently I've been getting connection error messages that won't even let me continue in the prototype. This is while every other app in my phone had no connection issues. Disappointing that I can't use this to demo mobile app frames.
It does not translate the graphics and interactions well sometimes. Whereas on the desktop the prototyping is spot on. This can frustrating when testing or letting a shareholder test to prototype on their phone and discover glitches that did not occur on the desktop presentation 😒
App doesn't not work properly. While mirroring the screen most of imgs are not visible. Its soo frustrating. It's better to go with XD.
App doesn't correctly render project files. Since the app is solely for viewing, this means that the app can't do the only thing it is supposed to do. Until this is fixed this is unusable.
In recent months the app quality dractically came down, many bugs and performance issues got introduced. It's really annoying and loosing the interest to work. And now iam not able to login or signup with this app on Redmi Note 7 Pro
wish there was an easier way to log in - maybe scanning a qr code or verifying something on desktop. would be a lot quicker when I'm working on desktop and want to quickly preview something on mobile but don't remember my login. my exact predicament right now.
Prototyping is much more fun when I use this app to check the transitions. It's more reliable than even the one on desktop.
When I installed it for few minutes it was working good suddenly after some more moment it became black in prototypes.I have uninstalled and then I have installed it but also it is not working it is just showing black scree in prototypes.I wish u guys look for this major issue.
With every new update the backend becomes more terrible.. Currently it's like the App is not even connected to my account..Just shows a blank screen and then nothing. And why does it require I login Everytime. It's frustrating to say the least!
struggling to get the complete design to show. assests are half showing even in the middle of the screen with nothing overtop it.
This is the most glitchy version ever ... disappointed big time ... please fix this Prototypes don't work properly , elements are lost on prototypes ..
it's terrible. create a better interface for your app . allow us edit our stuff on our phones . develop a better app like canvas. then I'll consider using your app again 😉
I just downloaded the app I signed into the app, started waiting till the data shows up. It's been 3 hours it's showing nothing, just loading. And when I leave the app and open it again, asks to sign in again.
A very sleek, beautiful and easy to use application. I love the fact that I can always preview my prototypes easily on the app.
I hadn't used this app before the newest updates, though for what I've started to play around with it's quite helpful! I didn't go 5 stars because my exploration of the app is limited right now, but it's solid
Ignorance towards one of the core feature - mirror. Mirror doesn't work, it crashes the app and even logs me out of it. Tried everything to fix it.
The figma app no longer displays any prototypes linked to an account. Tried with multiple accounts and the same bug persists! Please fix this ASAP
Nice in a way that we can access our designs or projects anywhere in a real-time without carrying bulky devices...only mirror is enough.
Its nice to be able to view and share the prototypes on the go, but I would mainly want to also be able to edit them.
The designs are not rendering fully on my Tab S22 ultra. Reinstalled multiple times. No matter what I do whether view files or prototype some elements just refuse to render randomply everytime. Same thing happening on other latest gen Devices as well but no response from the devs yet. Quite disheartening
