Not sure what the issue with some of the negative reviews about the actual app is about unless it's just a "technology based" acceptance. It's just like some of the patient portal apps that you would use for your hospital. It's not rocket science. As far as the actual pet insurance [Figo] goes, just signed on, so will edit accordingly if the insurance doesn't pan out so well.
App has worked well for me, except for uploading files, but I can already log onto the computer for that. I love this company. The rates are very good when comparing and you get to change the coverage such as deductable and % you get back. I've made claims on my cat a few times in the past year I've been with them, she has has aspiration, pneumonia, etc., and the claims went through just fine.
If you enjoy being frustrated, download this app. I've had a policy with Figo for about an hour and I've already had to live chat with customer service twice just to log in. Once I did finally log in, the app won't let me save changes when I try to change the temporary password. I guess I'll continue using the temporary password? For a company that makes you rely on the app, the app isn't very good. Not a good start Figo.
The system was easy to follow but it kept getting frozen in the middle of the transaction.
The app never loads and freezes up. I can never get in to submit claims, review prior claims or update info. I finally had to email my claim to customer support but still can't get in to review the claim. You should be able to log in via the internet rather just rely on an app that never works! This has been a chronic problem and reading the reviews I see others have same issue.
The AI chat for claims is impressive. Quick and easy. The cloud storage is nice. I like that it is easy to access my pets' health records. I have waited for awhile to receive advice from a vet feature. However it is so awesome to be able to chat with a vet with no additional costs.
This app has gotten surprisingly good! when I first fownloaded it last year I was surprised because it did not match the value that their insurance offers. This year theyve release huge changes, now theres an entire dog social network, maps for finding dog parks and vets, upload or email yourself important documents, etc. Everything you could ever want except for 24/7 chat with a vet, but apparently thats coming next month. Great job people, youre doing things right!
The app is ok, the company is TERRIBLE! My cats were healthy at the time I signed up with FIGO. Yet, after nearly a year of making payments, NEARLY NO VET EXPENSES WERE COVERED/REIMBURSED WHEN I NEEDED. There were no pre existing conditions with my cats. I highly recommend another company or none at all.
Your app is horrible and useless 😠. Everytime I try to submit a claim, the app crashes when I try to attach a file. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app but no difference. Thanks for making this so painful for me just to submit a claim ðŸ˜
After paying premium for 2 years. Made first claim that took almost a month to send information over this ridicules app just to have Figo say "we need more information from vets office" and by the way FIGO, vet sent this information 5 times and it still took you 2 weeks to find it. Wow!! Also, out of $600 invoice Figo said they would pay $97. Wow! Again, what a joke!! I will be taking my business elsewhere ASAP. I would suggest other do the same! Good by Figo and this disappointing app!
I can login in on my laptop, I use same information, password and username and the app says it is wrong!!! I cannot get in at all, and now I can't even login on my phone through chrome because it takes me to the app which will not let me log in!!
The app doesn't work. Once I log in, the FIGO logo appears on the screen and it freezes. There isn't a way to interact.
I can't get reminders as push notifications from the app, even though my notification settings are set appropriately.
unable to submit the claim after app changed from petcloud to figo. when presented with option to 'take photo, select from library or browse' none of the options work. and its SLOW
They are nearly a scam. They'll cover nearly nothing even when you select most of the bells and whistles on your plan. Avoid!!!
Live vet chat works horribly. If you exit out while chatting and go back in, you lose your chat with your vet and all the valuable information they are giving you. This has been ongoing for over a year and they still haven't fixed it. Also, you can't do the vet chat from a desktop computer which makes no sense.
App works fine. Never have any issues filing claims. However you cannot open and view any of the documents or EOBs through the app.

Figo will do everything they can do deny claims. There are many options for pet insurance. Do not put your faith in Figo. Go with another provider.
Confusing and hard to edit. What's with restaurants around me? What has that got to do with her insurance policy?

App would be better if adding photos were easier. When I click photo library to add a photo nothing happens. And when I do get a chance to add a photo the option to crop or upload is not always there. It's so annoying!
