FiiO Music

I've been using Fiio Music for a while now and really appreciate that it can take direct control of an external DAC for bit-perfect playback. And even without that it still has the best playback quality of any music app I've used. Probably my only gripe would be that the "play next" feature doesn't work properly when it's in shuffle mode, which I nearly always use.

The app WAS great, but the new update absolutely ruined it for me. Since android had new file policies (whatever that means), apparently fiio had to force me to get rid of all my data, which includes my playlists for my thousands of songs I had spent days making. And on top of that, I had to reimport them all again, and when I reimport from the top of the folderI gave the app, it adds all the songs twice! Fiio, not all of this was your fault probably, but please fix this soon.

Hi team FiiO, I just upgraded mi FiiO music app to most recent version but have problems with it. The app crashed when the update was completed. I had to delete cache and data to be able to access the app. After that, once I select my music folder, the app scan nothing. No music is added to the library. I tried with my LG V50 and also a Realme 7 pro and got same result. Please solve this problem. I'm a big fan of FiiO, but this kind of things are anoying. Thanks!

This is a very nice audio player but it still doesn't support m3u play lists which are a standard type. This means the start is mostly useless to me. I don't have the time to make playlist in the app when I can use Music Bee or Media Monkey and sync. Fiio make fantastic hardware and almost a great app but the missing feature is a major flaw.

With the latest update, this player doesn't find any MP4 audio files from my music library any more. EDIT: It keeps ignoring MP4 audio files, only lists a single OGG song now that I've manually added the folder that's in the SD card. The previous version 3.0.9 listed every single audio file in it, although it required a SAF permission

Since the latest update the app no longer functions. Doesn't scan my music (will scan and stop at 48 songs being permanently glitched). Reinstalling the app doesn't help either. And now I cannot use my Q3 with my phone either when it used to work fine before with YouTube music.

Something changed in the new update, but I can't add any of my music now with this last update. It's a combination of MP3s and FLACs, but I can't add them anymore. It may have to do with the fact that they're on a SD card. I used to have all of it there, but now I can't add it. I've added the right folder and scanned for the music and nothing gets detected by the app. This app used to be a 5 star app, but now that it can't see my music it's a 1 star app.

Generally a great app! But in current Version, due to Permission changes, unable to play any music from SD Card at all, even after granting Permission. Too bad 🤷🏻‍♂️ (PS, Access to music which is on the device (not sd card) works. So I guess, fix permissions for SD Card)

Update 2: Fiio team sent me APK file for v3.1.2, this solved the detection issue and added all my songs to my favorite music app. Raising the rate to 5. Update 1: Fiio team responded within 12 hours (which is great), and I'll keep updating how this goes. The app was great until the last update (v3.1), now it can't detect any audio, I followed the instructions step by step (although they're trivial) but still it can't detect any files. I will update my review and rating once this issue is solved.

After the update, even if I select the music folder it says "0 songs found" after scanning. Maybe because it's my SD card but it didn't have the problem in the previous version. Please fix, I love this player

This is the good offline MP, after sony MP integrated app. You can change custom them, music gloss background, support for aptx, dac, atmos n etcs. And it's FREE, guys!

Since the latest update the app won't play my audio from my sdcard, even if I reselect the folder & rescan it! All the music is still there it just won't play it! I wish I didn't update the app now😤

Somehow your app went into a reset and all my music playlists were lost. Unexpected and sad. Henceforth I won't be saving my playlists on your app. Very disappointed.

It broke with the last update. A shame as it was the best music application ever. Unfortunately it stopped being able to play music since yesterday.

I don't know what happened but a pop-up showed up and closed before I could read it and now none of my music will play, the app won't even say there is music on the device anymore

so, having installed 3.1.1, no crashes anymore but I can't open my music folder on sd card despite given privileged access to the app. It is scanning my music folder, but it is not reading the files on sd. how come? running android 11 on moto g 5g.

Volume still can control from phone, I need my phone as data transport only. Only one volume control from FIIO Q3 or another FIIO DAC. It often happens that the sound is lost but the music is still playing. When I open the phone screen, the sound is back. If I use other applications such as Apple Music, this situation does not occur.

Brilliant app until today's update. It now can't find any music at all despite me pointing it to the folders and all permissions granted. Oh and I have lost all my playlists. Well done Fiio for yet again, not testing this rubbish before you release it. I give up with it now! Update: Fiio pointed me to a direct download from their site and it has returned to full working order. Thank you

App WAS working fine UNTIL THE RECENT UPDATE (today)!!! NOW, ALL OF MY MUSIC IS GONE AND THE FU€KING APP CANNOT FIND ANYTHING ON MY PHONE 📱/SD CARD 💳!!! 😡💔😡

It does not work. I add folders but nothing appears in the app. And i have music in my sdcard

Since the file restrictions went into effect the app is unable to acces media on SD storage, even when pointed to the media.
