File URI Plugin

This little app used to be great for CX file explorer but in the past few weeks something has changed. It no longer seems to work for opening any kind of files anymore.

This works with other file explorer apps too. Now I'm able to open all kinds of files with respective application. There are no ads. Antivirus said not harmful.

HeII nah. These reviews are hands down the most suspicious I've ever seen. The very first one shown is less than a week old, rates it 5 stars and is telling everyone to ignore EVERY negative review, and that this app is "amazing" and somehow magically "speeds your phone up in every single way". Nah. Uninstalled and reported.

I really don't like the idea of having Apps on my phone that aren't clearly identifying all of its running activities, access capabilities and it's specific association to ANY app I actually have on my device that it's a plugin for. I don't remember downloading this, after reading the reviews in Google play store I am shocked by the few & unacceptable replies the developer provided, ALSO saw reviews with random words that were irrelevant and senselessly written. Red flags! I uninstalled ASAP 😒

if you like privacy do not download file manager so you wont need this app to. Warning was given to me by security program that for said File Manager was in a position that i needed to concider so i decided to remove. With that said if you not interested in privacy and you dont worry about what people you dont know my do jf given half a change. that is fine this is one of the best file manager URL Plugins to a very easy to use file manager programs ive used. i do recommend for old or young not I

ReadEra (book reader) would not open a .mobi file. Readera gave a link to this app. I installed it and then tried opening the .mobi again. After the install of this app Readera opened the .mobi file. So, for those people who say it's a shady app: maybe it is for you but for those (like me) who installed it based on a recommendation from within another app, works for me.....

I have developer options installed. So thank you to all the developers for all the work you do, and reading is very FUNdamental. I am learning new things about Android phones everyday. These phones are amazing! So once again thank you to all of you developers and all that you do. :)

The truth! I dont know if i will use it right away, but there is one app I WANT TO GET RID OF, & THAT US THE BLUE FOLDER ITD CALLED FILES, IT WONT LET ME GET MY PICTURES OR VIDEOS THAT WERE PUT IN THERE, I DIDNT OUT THEM THERE, THEY WERE TAKEN FROM MY FILE MANAGER FOLDER, THEY (stold) THEM, I CAN NOT GET THEM BACK! If i have a picture from my folder, and i want to move to my sd card, my screen switch's to this DUMB FILE, i thought it was going to my sd card, but nope! Now i cant open it!

This app isn't a necessity but if u r using python coding apps and wanna open a ". py" file this app is helpful. I don't find any harm with this app working and also it can be disabled to not run in the background. Quite feasible!

Ok, I was suspicious. So. What it does is I downloaded APK and wanted to have Eset antivirus scan it automatically on opening the file. The connection to Eset was indicated as broken and when I pressed Eset icon it told me to download this app here. The description of this app is miserable so you can't know what you are loading. Nevernind this enables running Eset scan on APK download.

Reading these reviews(it's amazing how ignorant some can be!)...haven't you seen something like "Developer Options" and the assosiated warning on your Android phone for instance¿...or haven't you seen the warning on your phone trying to install "Unsafe" Apps¿?...pweew!😏...all that this app is doing is "to help" yea to help you to work with files...it's a plug in that's all it is...pweew!😏

The suggestion of this plugin alone makes me wary on trusting the file manager app.. it may just cause me to delete it entirely because this app is shady as hell, with it's obvious swath of paid for positive reviews and lack of detail in it's description here and on the main app.

com.alphainventor.plugin.file.uri is the actual name of the plugin yet it will show as File URI Plugin until uninstalled. I guess someone could consider being an Alpha Inventor if they steal everyone's ideas by accessing their files worldwide. But maybe thats not what this means.. I hope this did uninstall & isn't lingering around. I cant really say anything negative at the moment. Hopefully removing this plugin though will improve my battery performance. I may reinstall later on. Uncertain.

At the moment I am satisfied with how this connection protocol works, but I still do not understand why? By ordering directly to the machine to install the connector, it refuses to do so. Anyone have something to say in this matter. Help pleased

I actually think...... The feedback is padded. Doesn't prove its dodgy, but sure doesn't help. Randomly generated names, single word positive review. And this is a plug In for the cx File manager app. I hope. Would REALLY help if the description was more detailed. Would save devs time answering bad reviews.

Installed itself when I tried to open an .avi video file file in Allcast. Shady AF. Description is really bad... Doesn't help building confidence. Uninstalled, recommend you avoid this...

"File Uri Plugin" Actually Making My File Menager Transfer To Gallery & Sd Card, But This Make My Battery Drain Fast & Overheating My Phone, Maybe This Plugin App Running All Background With All Apps.

Don't pay any attention to that post about Not installing this app, this app will make any phone run significantly better, faster, in every way!!! Oh man!! Get this app people you'll thank yourself and I later!!! It's so awesome

This is an expansion to the file viewer app I use. Excellent additional file viewer format pack.

It is suspicious. But, I downloaded it to be able to play Pokemom games in the Drastic emulator by using a file explorer

I have rated this plugin... why are you asking for a review of a plugin for file management ? I had to look this plugin up... STOP... it doesn't seem to cause problems.

I don't know why I was asked to install this for opening a .rar using 7Zipper. Very suspicious.

cannot save files. gives a "file not found"error instead.

Very handy ro use. Does great job and take less in internal storage
