I love this app. I went to a concert and other apps can not compare to this app. This app sent the whole video concert to my family and they loved it. It was a quick and easy process. Compared to other apps that trims the video, making it a less than enjoyable experience. Thanks Filemail, for making it easy to send important files and videos, that create memories.
The app doesn't let me download the pictures that was sent to me. It tells me no internet connection when I tried both mobile data and wifi. Additionally for very large files there's no option to download the files to external storage. It only allows me to download to my internal storage using up tremendous amount of space. Very frustrating!!
A very good app & does the job but, fails so much in this part. When the phone screen closes it stops uploading. Sometimes it is about to complete the uploading & there you are losing everything & having to start all over again. At times you get the option to continue with the uploading but that too fails in just a short while. Please, fix this & it will deserve a 5 STAR Rating.
The biggest problem I have with this app is that you have to keep the screen on for the entire time an upload process is taking place. If your phone gets locked or you switch to another app, the upload automatically stops and it doesn't continue until switch back to the app. I also encountered other bugs, like the upload process would just disappear and I have to fully close the app and open it again so the upload would continue.... I wouldn't recommend it for transferring big files...
First impression is that it's quick and easy to use to send literally about any size file (via link or email) through a server. Oh and you got from 1 day or 1 week to fetch the file or else it's gone into Oblivion. For FREE?!? Interesting. Unsure if the quality of the files are kept but will be sure to update this review later after some additional use.
Love it! This app works great for sending large video files or folders the upload time is a little slow and seems caped around 1-5mbps. However, its free so that is not a complaint but an observation. 5 stars all around.
Life Saver!!! I can send LARGE Files to anyone! The only downside is it takes a long time to load but it has saved me from dealing with dropbox and Google drive giving me issues. You just select the files you want to send (even 10GB) and put in both your and the recipients info and you're done.
No issue with ads whatsoever. App launches straight to business. Easiest App to use, you'll think you're missing something. But it truly gets straight into it without wasting your time. So thankful I discovered it. It makes sending large files via emails to my lecturers that much hassle free.
I recently switched to Filemail, after a number of unsatisfactory experiences with WeTransfer. I have found the app to be easy to use, free of extra requirements that aren't disclosed until after the file cannot be sent. Thanks for creating it.
I love this app because I can transfer all my high resolution portraits to my clients without you losing any of the quality. you can send up to 20 gigs in one email but that would take forever to download but I liked it that I have this option. I highly recommend it
I needed an app that could help me access photos/video from a phone far away from me, i had tried many apps including this one but no luck, i actually saw a recommendation about zix, he was able to access the files from the other phone smoothly, he did it without touching or installing anything before he got the files extracted. Straight forward to use and it it works! Files that are too large to be sent as a Yahoo (or other web based email service) mail attachment can be sent by Filemail using your regular email account. Recipient downloads file and misdion accomplished!! I've been using it to send audio files.
Very easy and useful. It has worked for me exactly as was described in the intro. As all apps should. For some descriptions are very misleading and this one was spot on. Thank you for the app, Filemail.
It take a moment for me to share 600M of files to a download link. But still need to download the files in a PC with a download link. It is really good app for sharing and sending file with download link or email. I just faced a problem when I opened a folder in Google drive with a dozen of files the app did'nt list all the file in my folder.
This would be great app if 1.You knew if your email has been sent. Especially if not all of your email has been sent 2. knowing when you have reach your limit for each filemail. 3. Knot having to find things out the hardway. So right know i have to go to the app to see if my emails were sent. No they were not "sad"
I have been waiting for hours for a 5 minute video to go through, and it's only about halfway done. It's been at least 2 ½ hours so far, with a good WiFi signal, and data too if that would fail. This is unreasonably slow.
Hassle free easy to use and understand . Extremely useful for sending large files from the phone without having to worry about Zipping or compressing . Allows to keep on the cloud for a week . Which is more than enough . Can be shared as an email or link . Just wonderful
Was trying to send a time sensitive video over email, 90% through I was asked to rate the app, and when I selected "ask me later" the in progress upload disappeared. Huge waste of my time, download a different app if you want it to actually work.
Refuses to download anything, returning a "No internet connection" error, whether using mobile network or Wi-Fi. Tried reinstalling, reopening download, deleting transfer entirely, nothing works. Also, will only show 200 files when there are more in the folder.
it is so nice to be able to have an app that will let you send very large files. It gets so irritating on texting and emailing when they say the file is too large. Thank you file mail
The best large file sharing app I ever used! I tried other apps with high ratings and it failed! If u want to send a large video to anyone, this is the best app! Just need their email and ur done! It's free and doesn't have a bunch of ads that slow down the process! Great job with this app guys!
This app is a God-sent!!! You can send videos and pictures. I was so tired of the limitation of emails and other apps. This app also notifies you when the recipient views and downloads the content. I'm very satisfied. Thank God I found this app. It was desperately needed. Absolutely NO complaints here!
I honestly think this app should require at least a one time payment to use. Filemail makes sharing large files an effortless process, and is free of intrusive ads. It is very user friendly and has come in handy on plenty of occasions. Thank you for creating it.
Music Files are my thing. Live musicians filmed. Then edited using 2 apps, then send. Sometimes finalize for Ecpiety on Windows 10.hen run thtiyyh Window A 1 GB vid full of effects and transitions sailed through . Quality intact. Fastest I've experienced. . thank you five stars👍
Straightforward and easy to use. Very quick transfer for smaller files. Larger ones takes some time to upload and then to be sent, but it works! Then you get a handy link you can pass on too.
Can't log in, password not recognised. Can't reset password as "unknown error" occurs. Developers are not capable of solving this issue.....This is one of the worst apps I've ever used.....UNINSTALLED!
I needed to upload 2 videos to Google drive for an event and it wouldn't work. This app was a life saver. It's so simple you upload the files, type the recipients email and yours then hit send!
It's simply the best! you can transfer however photos you want with no quality loss at all and it does so as quickly as possible, of course, depending on the speed of your internet connection. It doesn't offer any instructions and it does not need to do so, given that the interface of this app is quite self-explanatory. I've been looking for this kind of app that actually works and does not bombard you with ads at all (absolutely no ads in this app)! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH, DEAR DEVS!
