Great app to keep records of refueling of one or more vehicles. Clean, clear interface, very easy and quick to use once setup. Suited for single device but can be used by multiple devices (instructions in help file). Help file is understandable but not required due to the clear design of the interface.
Have used this app for 5 years and all worked well. However after my phone was upgraded to Android 10 recently, I am now not able to export the log files. I am getting the error "export Failed" each time I try to export the log file. It worked previously on Android 9. Any idea how to correct this export issue. Update: 8 March 2020 Have contacted the developer on the export issue and after some exchange of emails, version 2.1.4 was rollout and the export issue has not been resolved.
When used with latest version of android (pi) the input screen doesn't scroll when the "next" button is selected so the keyboard covers the "notes" input field. If you hide the keyboard and then reselect "notes" the keyboard pops up again and you can't see what you are entering. this has been my mileage tracker app for years and now I have to find another. This app has no way to file a trouble report. if you have an old Android version I would rate this app 4+ stars.
It was great until I lost over a year of data because I had to upgrade my phone and nobody ever said that it couldn't reconnect to its own database via the standard app migration process. I don't have time to worry about which apps out of over 400 can only restore manually from a CSV file. So now it's USELESS GARBAGE on my phone, that I can't even be sure is totally purged.
I love the simplicity of this app. It handles a variety of currencies and unit combinations. It does exactly what it says by doing one thing and doing it well. The app has not been updated in a while, so don't expect all features to work with the latest Android OS. e.g. Import/Export tool. It would be nice if the developer had a way to accept donations. Thank you for being on GitHub!
This app is so easy to use. Other apps are so complex. I just wanted something quick and easy, and this does it for me. If I could have one enhancement, it would allow me to select a vehicle and a specific date range to create an "expedition". Then I could see cost and mileage associated with my vacation. But I can do it manually.
Have used this app for almost 4 years. Simple yet effective. Only improvement I can see that needs to be implemented is an auto back up feature to cloud based storage, local micro sd card, and/or sim card.
Needs an auto-backup system. I used this for 5 years and its great. But recently I formatted my phone and lost all the old data because I forgot to take a backup. If there was system where this would happen automatically, it would be great.
Only drawback to this app is it doesn't sync across multiple devices. We have more than one driver for the car, so making sure reach fill up is logged is a pain since the app is only on my phone.
Simple, has everything you need and nothing you dont. you can back up or restore easily. free and no ads. Wish there was an addon to buy for exporting or printing charts and plots to pdf or jpeg.
Great app, simple to use and accurate in calculating. If I could make a suggestion I would like to be able to make notes about when I did something to the car, like an oil and filter change or whatever. 5 stars.
This is a great app, I've used it for many years, unfortunately since the latest update I haven't been able to export the data. Export has been fixed in the latest update (V2.1.4), now back to being a 5 star application
LOVE this app but I keep getting a getting a message that states the mileage I'm inputting is less than the mileage it should be when, in reality, the mileage I'm inputting is at least 7k MORE. I would understand if I missed a fillu0 sort of. I've been using this app for year's but when I downloaded to my new phone I get this annoying popup.
This first time I used this app, I was unable to enter in thecorrect price per gallon. It was grayed out and displayed the price as 3.03 when the actual price I had to pay was 3.29. I can find no way to let me enter in the correct price per gallon.
Only one fill-up so far, so I don't have any stats yet, but the app looks like it will do the job. One suggestion for a new feature: Allow entry of non-fuel expenses, where you just enter the odometer reading, cost, and an optional note. That way, it's able to show a vehicle's operating costs - total and average per mile.
