FIMO - Analog Camera

A great app, I've been using it for a while now. However, I'm giving it two stars (and considering leaving) due to the change to subscription mode, which I honestly find ridiculous. Before this we could simply purchase new films as need and want dictated, and that was fine; now the devs went full Adobe on us, and I don't feel like paying the former price of one film every month in order to use the one or two I am interested in. And neither should you. Save that money and you can use real film.

€100 for the pro version is just simply too expensive. I like the new films and features, but they are still locked behind this massive paywall. Again: It's your loyal userbase that now has to pay again for their already purchased content. That is ridiculous. Bring back individual purchases. Shifting your focus completely towards "potential" users while having your existing users pay twice is really bad practice.

I really love this camera, especially their free films. However, what makes it upset is that they changed from purchase per film to yearly subscription, we don't have now any options which film should we only buy or use because not everyone will like the other films included in the yearly subscription, I mean some will say it's worth it and not. I hope you bring back the previous purchase options or there should be two choices, yearly and per film.

My major complaint is that you are unable to actually customize which effects you want on each film roll, it will randomly choose an effect within the individual film roll, meaning you have to filter your image more than once if you do not get the desired effect you wanted the first time. It's missing things for a subscription based app, I wouldn't pay for it, their you only get 3 exposures rule is trash.

It used to be a good app until they made the subscription mistake. I think that many of us who buy the films find that this change is completely ridiculous, I hope they cancel this decision since nobody wants to be renting the software, it would be a shame if such a good application goes into oblivion due to bad decisions.

Cool app. I started shooting film 2 years ago but it has gotten too expensive. So this app is a good alternative to getting the same effect. Some filters are a little too "aggressive", but it's very similar to what I got on real film (I shot over 30 film cameras, SLRs, ponit and shoots, etc and different film stocks).

I LOVE IT VERY MUCH. THE SIMPLICITY. THE ELEGANCE. CLASSIC. EXQUISITE. I don't really like buying app or filters, I never done it before. But as soon as I tried the free trial,I have the urge to buy most of them 😭 It's very affordable and I'm definitely gonna buy it! Especially the ETERNA V500 ✨ - I miss the old FIMO there's no way I'll pay for 1K+ a year just for a camera, that surely, I'll barely use because I don't even go outside often. But I also understand.

I love the quality and how many options you have for pics. The only reason I gave it such a low review is because you only get to take 3 pics with a certain film until you have to pay a yearly $30 to use the films :( For that price I could get my own analog camera. If you have the cash do it, it's amazing and beautiful.

STILL BROKEN! I want $ back! This app thqt stopped working shortly after it upsold me on additional items about a half dozen times and I bought all available purchases. I emailed, I left a review I did everything I could to ask the dev to fix the broken app. They didn't even acknowledge my contact or the bugs in the app but had time to start selling new items to poor souls who will take 3 photos then lose the ability to use the product they paid for, just like me. FIX YOUR APP or REFUND?

I really enjoy using the film types (filters) and have purchased around 6 or 7. However I was dismayed after the last update to find you now have to pay a yearly subscription to use the filters £26+. As far as I can see I can still use the ones I have purchased which is good. £26 is steep! I will have to think hard before paying £26 per year. But then again I've never developed an app so I don't know how much these things cost, maybe it's fair.

The app stopped taking photos. It's up to date and everything. Was still working this morning. What's wrong? Update: so, last time i got it working by reinstalling it. But today, less than a week later, it did it again. Everything works as should, even the picture taking button movement works, but just doesn't take a photo. I REALLY wouldn't want to start reinstalling this twice a week. Fix it, please

I love the app, but the subscription price is quite steep, specially for someone in the third world. It was much better when you could purchase the films instead, or a better option would be one time purchase of the app.

Very good app. You can shoot very close and similar to 35mm photos. Onky problem is that yearly subscription and its quite expensive. I want to buy whatever i want to use as a stock. Thanks.

I am disappointed about the Pro Mode on new update. I still like the old one that you can buy individual film rather than using one fil for the price of 10 and yearly. I will change this if you will update it again to have an option to buy individually the film.

I love this app. Been using it for a while and am happy to purchase different looks. But please bring it back to buying individual film stock! I am not happy with the idea of a subscription. I never write written reviews. Seeing a subscription button really turned me off on this app.

This pro feature is so annoying. I would like an option to buy the films since it started like that, even the layout size. I hope you still give an option to previous users to buy rather than yo get the yearly subscription as a perk.

ever since they updated the app to a subscription type one (which i find incredibly ridiculous since i'm not really interested in all of the films they offer) i can't use the crop option. not even with the films i purchased before the change.

Would've put 5/5 but I'm not a fan of the last update in which you have to pay for all the films. I hope they get back to having permanently only the films you buy and not an anual subscription for all of them. Or at least offer various options for it.

I've tried most of the film simulation apps on Android, it's a bit of an obsession of mine and I can say this one's not bad at all. EDIT - The new subscription model is way too expensive, I won't be paying £26 a year for a camera app, what are you thinking FIMO? Let us purchase individual films again please.

Best analog camera apps so far. But sadly the free version ends after 5 or 6 month I installed, and I can't use the app anymore. Also the yearly premium subscription price is way too pricey.

I was quite convinced this was THE best film emulator but wait they really decided to make this app require internet connection to work properly. Was all good till now, they also introduced this obnoxiously expensive subscription service which no longer lets you buy an individual film stock at a dollar rate. Really disappointed by all of this, hopefully they will rectify these mistakes and make this app great again. PS. Bring Kodak Ultramax if possible in thr near future.

I've tried a lot of dispossable camera app and this one is the best. A lot of free film that i can use but i hope there's an option where I can buy just 1 film. Because i can't afford to buy all of them for 1,500 per year. Please consider this. Thank you!

This used to my favorite, till they converted to a yearly subscription which unlocks all filters and is now the only way to get them. Please give as an option to buy filters separately like the previous version. I don't use all the filters and buying each one is much cheaper.

app have gone bonkers in the new version. bring back purchase per film option. not anyone could afford to pay for a subscription that you would only use when your creativity strikes you.

I paid for films before y'all created the pro version and now it's not allowing me to use those films that I bought. I should be refunded since I'm not able to use them unless I pay for the pro version. The app should have stayed the same like it was before where you pay individually for film.

COME ON!!! .Give option to buy individual filter too ..!!!!.Saved up to buy a new filter..but now can't buy . Include option to buy individual filter along with subscription. Read the feedback and reviews!!!..MAKE FIMO GREAT AGAIN!! When are you going to roll back??..ruined a good app

I used this app for so long already and I loved how the films can be purchased individually. But after the update, I was disappointed that the films are now purchased in one and only lasts for a year. I hope you'll bring back the individual buying of films.

Can no longer buy individual films. Yearly subscription is too expensive for an app that is not used all the time.

Apparently the Chinese version of this app(as I updated it from a China based third party app store) allows purchase of films individually, so why is it not possible with Google play?

I'm using this app for quite some time, even bought additional films and liked it. Now however they switched to subscription model and that's that for me. Good bye FIMO...
