App does not work with TOGUARD dashcam with Android 9 EMUI 9.1. Have contacted the developer by email asking if they will publish a fix, I do not have an old Android device that works - my old BlackBerry running on Android 6 may do but the charging socket is broken. Other reviews suggest the app still works on Android 4.4. I have requested that the developer send us a fix or recommend of an alternative product that works with our cameras. It appears TOGUARD is now Jeemak. I have sent an email.

After literally doing everything I can think of to re-pair my dash cam with the app and reading the reviews it's crystal clear that the app no longer supports the cams firmware. My cam was working fine for about a year and now all of a sudden it will no longer pair with the app. I've gone as far as disconnecting the cam, deleted the cam from the app, deleted/reinstalled the app and nothing. Very sad to see this is become a very common & vital issue as of recent. To bad it worked well prior..

No star(if it's allowed) My LG ThinQ 7 android 9 has some trouble connecting. Now my new Android phone can connect to the wifi of the camera but would will not add the camera even with multiple scanning attempts. The app is garbage. I just connect the camera direct to the computer. To see the videos/photos. Or eject the micro sd card to review files.

Had a hard time connecting it with the camera wifi. Would not connect even tho the password was correct. Then I noticed a notification on my phone saying there was no internet (obviously) and asked if i wanted to stay connected to that wifi. Click yes and check the "don't ask again" box. No more problems.

This is a terrible app!!! I have a dbpower camera, which is brilliant, but the app is awfull. Takes ages to upload photos, and when they've uploaded they are removed from your camera, and stuck in the app because you can't share them. So I've now got images stuck in this app which I can't retrieve. Really really bad.

Just doesn't connect to my phone. Got the right network and password but simply doesn't connect. I am using an Android 9 phone. After reading the reviews I will just remove the memory card and use pc instead to view any vids or pics I need to.

Bad... very bad... The phone does connect to camera's Wi-Fi but the app doesn't see the camera. Obviously a rubbish app. Luckily you can take the memory card out of the camera to see the footage. Yep. Rubbish!

Not a bad app, found it researching the maifang sports action camera. The app connects the camera, I can take pics in HD @12 MP, however it won't record in 4K ( records 1080p ) Still happy it works with my Chinese camera. Would be great if a patch could be installed and take 16MP pics and record in 4K.

I can appreciate the frustration many/most are posting here re. FinalCam, but for me at least it connected my LG V20 right away to my Wheel Witness HD PRO Plus dash cam. Fingers crossed that it remains stable. I did note that it can not download files to my phone but for me anyway that's not really an issue as I download via a card reader to a notebook.

As has been stated many times previously, this app is garbage. Won't work at all on Android 10 and is only spotty on Android 8. The app won't connect to Newton WiFi Body Camera at all. Without app you can't change settings.

I'm not sure the developer(s) hears us or cares. Don't get me wrong it's fine product with the capability to do awesome in most surrounding product. This app system is not catching up with these new Android phones. Any time I try to connect WiFi to cam, I believe the developer(s) can serve the product well to it's customers satisfaction, even if the product new version comes out...guess what? It's these customers same ones will go crazy at it. Please, don't put unsatisfactory out there. Fix app

HI DEVELOPER, NEED YOUR ATTENTION ON THIS. Many comments said it's not working but worked before, I think cannot connect problem is due to Android version, I use FinalCam on my Note8 run on Android 9 Pie, it doesn't work and it can't even show the wifi available list as usual, but I use a device run on Android 4.4 KitKat, everything works fine. I think it is the Android permission problem such as "full access on wireless network", because it is not even showing the wifi available list at first.

I have a MicroMac 1080p mini sport cam i bought many years ago (cant remember specifically). FinalCam was required for it. I have had FinalCam working and connecting, always with some difficulty. Took it out for the first time in about a year/maybe 2, and today it will not connect. I have tried everything followed the steps exactly uninstall/reinstall. But nothing. Hope i can find an alternative app to connect mi MicroMoc camera.

Terrible, if you have a phone that's update to date or 8 years old this app wont work as the app needs an old version to work. Pure melts who ever made this, wouldn't recommend at all, unless they sort it out.

Shame on the makers of this app for leaving us hanging. Here's what I did as a work around. I bought a micro SD card reader with a USB C plug. I plug it directly to my phone (no app required) to get the pics & videos from the camera's memory card onto my phone so that I can share them online.

works on my iPad and iPhone 7. Phone connects to dbpower ex5000. phone is galaxy s10+. This app will not find the camera in order to access/download the content. I hate that I need to do all transfers on my iPad only.

Not bad app. Could be better. Doesn't work to connect via dashcam wifi on a gator dashcam on new Samsung phones like the S9 and S10 nor Huawei P20 and P30. Doesn't scan cameras or show the list properly. Therefore making the wifi function in my dashcam unusable. Buy another brand of dashcam if relying on wifi in the dashcam to transfer files to your phone. It does work on an Xperia Z something. An bug fix and update would be nice to support newer phones.

Before my phone get updated, this apps was working fine to connect to the dashcam. My phone recently got updated to Android 10, this apps can't detect the camera even when the phone already connected to the dashcam WIFI. Please update this apps 🙏🙏🙏

Absolute garbage. This app couldn't even find my dash cam , even though the dash cam stated that it was connected. Correct procedure used to connect and tried a good few times. The dash cam shows a connection to my phone, the app can't find the dash cam. Pathetic software.

Cannot connect find camera despite being connected to WiFi and following manual for Toguard CE20. Also reinstalled countless times. Thankfully have the micro SD card just incase of a problem but mainly bought this dashcam because it said could be used with this app. If anyone knows of another app compatible with Toguard CE20 WiFi please let me know. Thanks

So far it has been working fine the only issue is the connecting. Since you need to select the cameras wifi it can be confusing especially if you loads of wifi networka near you, like i did.

Wipes your photos from the device. Then it doesnt let you share the photos or download them to toyr photo album. Photos can only be viewed in the app. Terrible.

On my old android 8 everything is ok. On my next phone android 9 cannot find the app the camera. That make the camera not WiFi anymore. And you cannot do anything. You have to move the SD card from the dash cam to your computer. Needs updating

I used this app earlier this year and it connected fine to my dash cam. I've downloaded the app again after it vanished from my account and it won't pick up my dash cam. Very annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Please Update. App works great on my old phone but won't work at all on new phone. App will not detect any wifi signal rendering my dash cam useless unless I keep an old phone around.

This app is no good at all! My phone can find my camera over the WiFi but this app can't find or connect to the camera do useless, I've tried uninstalling the app resetting the camera but nothing.

I have to agree with everyone else, even though camera recognises phone it will not connect. Have even tried turning off mobile data and home wifi as someone suggested but still will not find camera..Have reset camera, reinstalled app but still same.

Not working at all with Android 7. On the odd occasion it manages to connect to my Rayne cam it still doesn't show any of the media. Please fix.

Unable to connect my dash cam, despite being able to find it. Entered the password as displayed but fails to connect every time. I have emailed support, hoping for a response .
