Find A Grave

I love this app. However, when I've been trying to add photos lately it won't let me, it kicks me out. This has been going on for about 3 days. Also, when you do a cemetery search you have to type the name correctly, it doesn't help if you only go by some of the name. This makes it hard to find all cemeteries with certain last names attached.

It's great but... When I'm doing research I'm finding lots of animals... The problem is that many animals have normal human names and I've been using find a grave for humans. Not animals. I'm not going to look up dog named Max. No one is. So I'm not sure why they are clogging up an app meant for human connection and research. That should be a different app. I would even be willing to help remove these animals from the app. Maybe make another app? Or search term to select human or animal?

It helps with getting leads & very easy to add information. This is one of the best helping app. out there. I have been a member since 2010. I have a Android works great for me. Even when I don't update when I should. When I do update doesn't seem to change how I uses the app. Keep up the good work.

Why is it that you can no longer break down searches by state. The United States is a big place, especially when trying to search for people in one state. I have deleted and just started fresh today and the app does NOT LET YOU SEARCH BY STATE, COUNTY, ETC THE WAY THAT IT USED TO. CONTACT WITH A FIX. ALL IT SAYS IS UNITED STATES, IT WILL NOT BREAK DOWN FURTHET

Great app for connecting family. Has a big bug as the website shows my accurate amount of memorials cared for, but app shows only a third of them. Please fix this. Issue has been fixed. Great response time and fixing of issues.

I LOVE this app. I downloaded it and set up a few of my own virtual cemeteries with my ancestors in each one and can visit them while I check the app and read their bio's. I use this app in conjunction with My heritage and I would HIGHLY recommend this for anyone who is researching their family tree or wants to find out more about specific stories/bio's from headstones they read at the local cemetery. HIGHLY recommend.

Love the app, but it seems to be having major problems. It was working great up until about two weeks ago. Now Error loading cemeteries, loading contributor error, memorial searches come up with person not found, can't get to messages from the links in emails...stuff that worked before is not working. Tried uninstall and reinstalled, but that didn't fix any of the problems. Still giving 5 stars because the app worked great until you updated it...hope you get this working again.

Frustrated, the cemetary I'm planning to cover isn't listed on the app but is clearly available on the desktop site. Making the app pointless & over the last few days the app has become buggy, the search function just sends you back to the home screen. So frustrating, it's not like I can drag a laptop out into the middle of nowhere with no WiFi to double check before documenting Graves.

Terrible! Directions to cemeteries using the Google Map links are worse than useless cause they'll get you completely lost. Even though photo requests for a cemetery can be looked up on the app, it doesn't recognize the cemetery and won't show where it is in the app itself. Doesn't give you the option to look up a decedent's profile using their Memorial ID. I tried using the GPS pin feature but it didn't do anything but eat up my battery charge. Awful! Go back to the drawing board on this one!

The app is just like the website except less informative and with far fewer search options. There seems to be no real point to the app. Its disappointing because I really wanted to like the app and would love to have a dedicated app, just not one that makes searching harder. If I was rating on usefulness to me, it would be 1 star. I'll give it the second star on the fact that I don't recall it crashing. That's the best I can do if this is the best they can do.

This app is worthless unless someone can find a place to put deceased name and site will find cemetery.

Great app, makes family research into a fun hobby. Easy to use. A few ads, but non-intrusive. Awesome online collaboration. I enjoy reading the related forum site. Very helpful.

This app . Went from easy to use ? Using a Droid............. Ok the glitch's have been repaired and now we are back to the old "Find A Grave " app is back to it's old self!!!! Nice job guys!!! Much appreciated!!!!

Not a fan of the update. I have used this app for several years and have had no issues but after the update I have had absolutely nothing work.

Hadn't used for awhile. Need to find deceased classmates. I type info in and hit search and blinks an stays on same screen.

This app is HORRIBLY designed! It's almost unusable! Has no logic which is easily recognizable and is NOT intuitive! I wanted to enter the GPS coordinates of a gravesite and it took my phone's current coordinates and has no way to edit them manually. It's nice that it's set up for entry right at the gravesite but to find a grave in the app (which is required first) to enter information for is so difficult and time consuming, it's not at all functionally useable when visiting lots of gravesites.

The iPhone app and Android app are world's apart. The iPhone app is much more user-friendly and has so much more functionality. Specific instances are the ability to add a Memorial from the search page and to suggest edits. Yes for both on iPhone, no for both on Android. On Android, to add a memorial, you have to go back to the cemetery's page whereas on the iPhone you tap a + sign in top right corner on search page. Please bring this app up to the level of the iPhone app!

If you search for cemetaries in an area, say Philadelphia, PA, the app shows you a map of that area with a bunch of headstones on it representing cemeteries. There is no discernable way to get a list, and if you zoom and zoom in on the map, you can see all the nice landmarks and even where the bus stops are - but no cemetary names. Useless.

The app allows me to travel and easily access request in my area. I like the alphabetical listing that groups families together to cut down on the search. About once a year though I seem to have to reload it because it just won't start up. That's what I'm doing today.

There are issues since the update. I am trying to fulfil requests and for the first time I am experiencing issues while I use the app. The other three times have occured when I go to open the requests and it says "error loading cemetery", your profile is "loading contributor" forever. The only option is to uninstall/reinstall. Then login details are not recognized. You change your password (to the current password) and then you can log in again.

was a great app till the new update. Since then it keeps crashing and failing to load cemetery and fails to realize a photo that has been requested has been uploaded. It has caused me headachs trying to upload photos to the Cemetery I am currently photographing. There used to be a partial name search and now we have to put the whole last name in. It hard when you only have a few letters on a headstone of a last name and have to figure out how to spell their whole last name. Please fix it.

I had loaded 5 photos but unable to get it to clear the 'Fulfill". After developer responded I cleared cache and it then said it was already Fulfilled but message did not close it. I went to my photos and deleted one photo of the niche, and clicked on Fulfill then reposted this photo. Everything worked out great. Thank you.
