That was amazing, or maybe I'm just very easily impressed; but, after trying and trying to get my new phone to connect to a Bluetooth speaker i have used for a few years, only to have it time out looking for it...this app found the existing speaker in about 5 seconds. Fine, I have to deal with ads, Bluetooth couldn't help me, this app did. I'm also not a tech idiot, this was just really easy!
Way too many ads... Very intrusive and pushy. The app itself does function, but is very slow and quite unresponsive... This app has much potential, but the developers seem to be too focused on the ads and the associated revenue streams, rather than the app's presentation, functionality and the user's overall experience. The bottom line, should ALWAYS be functionality and the user's experience, and NOT the bottom line... If you know what I mean.
Worked like a charm in seconds!!! I literally installed the app and in seconds my bluetooth device showed up (it did show up as unknown most likely because it's an off brand bluetooth ear bud) on the screen and after clicking it I had to watch one 14 second video (not a big deal considering they saved me so much time!!! With the hot/cold sensor I found it in under 30 seconds. Not sure why anyone says it doesnt work because it 100% does. Just amazing!!! Thankyou so much!!
Absolutely outstanding! Anyone with a Samsung Note, this app is a MUST HAVE! I lost my stylus and despite the proximity alarm, as many of you know, there's no way to know exactly where it is. UNLESS YOU HAPPEN TO HAVE THIS APP!! In just a few minutes, with a little trial and error, it took me directly to where I had dropped my stylus behind the couch. I NEVER leave reviews, but this app did exactly what it said it would, and saved me countless future dollars. Thank you so much dev's!
It works!!! Great App... perhaps your developers could add the ability to name device. I wear hearing aids "R Ear/L Ear. Bluetooth Ear buds. The same issue. Rather than trying to figure out the MAC address on devices, once they are located being able to name the within your app would be a great option. And perhaps a directional arrow. The signal strength indicator is great.. perhaps the app could be modified to allow the user to see signal direction as well as strength.. for a price.
Lost one of my bluetooth earbuds and I was going crazy from trying to find it since I didn't hear it impact with the floor and I thought it magically disappeared. It was trial and error with the scanner, but I managed to find it in between my couch cushions. This app was a life saver, definitely will recommend it
It seemes good and told me if i was warm or cold. I lost one earbud and am testing it right now with the one i still have. It seems to be able to sense it, but its like it loses connection when scanning for it. It can say that i should be able to see it and that its really close which it was right of course because i was testing it, but sometimes it said that it was too far away even though i was staring right at it. This was all in the span of 2 minutes -_- its like on and off.
Although the app didn't help me out at all, I will still give it 5 stars only because if I didn't download the app I wouldn't have found my lost device. The app overall had many inconsistencies especially with where the device would be e.g. it would be hot at one place, then after moving around then heading back to the same place, it would be cold instead.
Absolutely the most advertising aggressive app i have ever seen. It forces you to watch a minute long video ad every time you use it. I had in mind using the app to help elderly patients find lost hearing aids. The ads are so pervasive and intrusive that it's actually quite hard to use without accidentally going down a rabbit hole. In the context of a patient with mild dementia who might lose their hearing aid daily and not understand how to navigate between the ads, this app is useless.
It doesn't tell you the name of the different devices. It has a long list all called unknown device 1, 2, 3, ecetra. It tells you if you are getting warmer or colder instead of a map which I also didn't like. I had to watch an ad just to get to the meter which didn't work because it didn't even change as I was walking around.
The warmer/colder interface works well when searching but I found myself trapped at each screen level in the app. Once l was in the search for a particular device screen there was no obvious way to back up to the search for all devices screen. And once I clicked "I found it" I couldn't clear the Rate Me screen. Really frustrating app to use.
Couldn't see the device I was looking for, whether connected or not. Most found devices only showed the MAC adress so maybe what I wanted was there but I didn't know. I tested it with some other known devices and it worked for the most part, so if you can actually find your device on the list I'm sure it'd help find it.
Letting the app scan for 40 minutes will bring more success. I also think it only works if the Bluetooth icon to the right of the MAC address is green (not greyed out). The first day I tried the app, I had no luck at all. I have a Galaxy S20 and so many MAC addresses without device names showed up, it was overwhelming. The next day I let the phone scan for about 40 minutes. When it got to the 20th MAC address, the model number for my TV showed up. I let it keep scanning. At the 25th out of a total of 29 MAC addresses, the Bluetooth icon was green, so I clicked on it, got up & started my search. That was the Bluetooth address I was searching for. I found it in 5 minutes or less.
It searches, if it finds 5 things, it gives a name to 1, and after you select to locate it, ADS. Repeat, ADS. Backup, ADS. I want to find an item not be forced to watch videos, Nope.
Signal bounces but worked. If the bluetooth was running it clearly saw until it went into a resting mode. I kept refreshing the fitbit app to throw a signal to the device so this app had a better chance to see it. Even though the signal changed a lot it was true to the approximate distance. Pretty good app!
90% of devices only display MAC Address. If you press and hold, there's a menu to Pin/Rename/Hide a device; but none of the options work. This app was unable to detect a bluetooth device I held up against my phone as a way to shorten the list of unknown devices. It doesn't refresh.
uninstalled immediately. Ads. devices are listed only by a Mac address making it nearly impossible to tell what's what and with in 1 minutes of exploring the app I was bombarded with ADS. making it then impossible to use. instant uninstall!!
there is not much ads and it works really good the only problum is that it loses conection but if you click the back arow then click the divice it should cenect to it agian and the writen responce is corect if it disconects wile in warm just look in the most reasonable aria that you think it could be in and really clouse to you. somtimes its not corect but when its warm it is. good app! thx for making this it really helps
Meter shows hot when close. Went cold when I went too far. I know my device is called Fitbit One and typed it in so the app only looks for this specific device. Took all but less than one minute. Awesome. So happy. Thank you.
Easy to use. Found hearing aids buried under tissue box on a messy desk in a three-story house in less than a minute. I had wasted almost an hour trying to find them before turning to this app. I had even scanned the desk in vain but Find My Bluetooth Device brought me back and told me it was within reach.
It couldn't find my Bluetooth at all. then I found my bluetooth and turned it on and connected it to my phone to see if that made a difference. That should make a huge difference right? I walked around with a compass telling me that I was cold and colder even when I walked right up on top of my Bluetooth device. This app couldn't find a haystack in a haystack.
Not good. It says it's accurate within 1 meter... it's not. It won't let me save any devices. And every button you push brings up an ad. Sometimes multiple ads.
VERY useful when it actually detects your lost device. Unfortunately its "scan" feature takes so long, it may not be feasible to walk around with it, waiting for it to see your device. It saw one of my devices, but not the other, even though it was 2 feet away.
Absolutely rocked! I lost my fitbit tracker and didn't realize until later in the night. Downloaded this app and walked around the house. I literally had to "open my eyes" because it had fallen in my car and slid under the seat. Awesome product and really easy to use!
This app is wonderful! I lost my Lexie pair of hearing aids, and I was able to find them. One was mistakenly thrown away, and the other was on the ground underneath leaves and when I searched carefully and, followed the instructions, moving forward and taking my time, it pinpointed exactly where I needed to look. Thank you so much for taking the time in developing this app, especially for those hearing impaired!!
