This app is a con. There's no mention that you are directly put into a premium plan, free for a short term then charged after that date. When I tried to delete the app I only just noticed a small notification with the word premium in it. To my amazement I checked a few things and I was indeed a premium user. I only downloaded the app to have a look at it. If I'd have just deleted the app would have ended up being charged. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You need to be more transparent. Scam
Sadly very disappointing. The app doesn't show the true position. It works for a few minutes then the target phone stays put even though it's been moving around different places for hours. Did everything the app said to do but it's about as accurate as half a brick.
I've noticed a few clitches with this app. However, most of the time it works great! 04/24/2020 - Yesterday it would not allow me to access this app! I was able to report this 2 times. (I don't believe you respond to these "reports".) This is what would pop-up when I tried to access the app "Unfortunately, Friend Locator has stopped." Today I uninstalled the app and immediately reinstalled it. Now it works. I don't understand what the problem was!
This company took a payment for an app subscription that I cancelled. I spoke with them directly to cancel and confirmed that I would not be charged. They charged me the same day and now will not return my messages. I was forced to provide the credit card for a free trial of the app. Told I could cancel within 7 days. They made it next to impossible to cancel, only returned my messages after I gave a negative review, and have since charged my card after ensuring it would not be charged. The app claims they do not have your credit card number and that billing is done through google play - THAT IS A LIE There seems to be no way to contact a real person for the app or at google play - just phone numbers that keep referring back to websites. They are not a reputable company. DON'T use this app
This app apparently has deceptive practices. I've used this app for years and downloaded it on my new phone and was charge $69.99 for a year subscription. I didn't ask for a sub...I didn't agree to a trial...I was simply charged. I requested a refund and was denied stating that I'd have to talk to google play. They denied my refund as well. So I'm stuck with a year sub that I don't want and didn't ask for. BEWARE OF THIS APP!
Most of the time it works, but you have to keep reloading to locate someone and most the times it shows you left the house without even leaving or your in a area your not even in. So far it does it's job for the most part, considering it being a free app.
For the price this app is missing a lot of features. 1. Decimal GPS Coordinates on users pin with a copy/share function. 2. Hybrid map. 3. Dark/Night Mode. 4. Google's dark/night map. 5. Traffic info for the driver and assister when directing the pilot. || There are others missing features that I can't think of right now. And I'll tell you what boss, you should be paying us for providing you with all these ideas for perfecting your application. || Uninstalled. 1 🌟 app.
Lowered this to 2 stars as this app is the culprit for a significant slowdown of my phone to the point where it was almost unusable. Uninstalling it instantly sped it back up. It seems to be restarting a service constantly when looking at the running processes but not sure if that was the cause.
The app works great, but you can only add 2 places on the android app. My friend that uses the iPhone app can add all the places she wants without paying. If I want to add more than two places I have to pay.
Recently switched from IPhone and wanted a way of locating family members who still had iPhones. This app works perfectly, not only that but I actually think it works better than the "find my" app that is on the iPhone itself. You can share driving information and it will tell you how fast they are going along with a timeline of where they have been. Ok so perhaps that is maybe a bit too much for some but you can turn that off. Been using this for over a week and so far it's worked perfectly.
