This is the best app for people who loose their phone a lot. It detects a whistle quickly and accurately. You can choose to have your phone make sounds,vibrate,and/or flash to let you know where it is. I use all 3 together and have no problems locating my phone anymore. I do not have to ask people to call my phone to find it anymore.
When running, this app works perfectly. It is able to accurately detect a whistle tone, it effectively overrides volume controls to ensure it can be heard, etc. However, it only works if the app is open, it doesn't stay active running in the background, and it keeps sporadically closing itself without notice. You don't "plan" to misplace your phone, so the app has to be activated in advance to be useful. Since it cannot remain active after being initiated, it's rendered useless.
Awesome app! At first I thought it was just an average okay app because it's alarm kept going off (while I was using the phone) at every little high pitch sound that was made. But then I found in the menu that I can have it ring only when the screen is off, which makes it a great app! Thus, I am no longer interrupted by the alarm while my phone in on, & I can find my phone now which I constantly lose and my house. You can choose their alarm sounds or your own songs stored on your phone.
it works great when in need for finding your phone,only if it's switched on... it goes off if the door squeaks. also I can't get the power button to work in the notification panel, if I close app the app shuts all the way down. I think it would be cool if it recorded ur whistle, a specific whistle.
Works really well! There is just one thing that bothers me. It doesn't work when it's shoved down a couch and that's usually where I leave my phone! π€£ There are ads but little enough not to bother u which I find is great because ur other clap one has way too many. Fantastic app!
Excellent blast from the past! we used to have keyrings that had this whistle option for lost keys in the 90's, and remembering them and mentioning to others who want this app (i have shared to them) .. I am glad its been made. Only one extra idea this app could have, is to be paired to Alexa , "Alexa..Where's my phone" ππΌ Great app,
The whistle feature isnt working according how the app says.
Does what it says, but 1. Picks up all sorts of sounds 2. Blocks voice messaging. 3. The change notify sound gets stuck and you can't change it. 4. Does not show the advert or do anything when changing options every now and then.
it works but my notifications sound is bell so it goes off. so I have to change it. but needs an easy mute until whistle again. basically it goes of with every little noise and no way to turn it off once it starts. it needs a lot of work. id even pay for a voice recognition find my phone.
I like the idea of being able to whistle at your phone and actually finding it I admit it came in handy cause I'm always sitting my phone down somewhere and forgetting where I put it. But the app turns itself off I have to open the app every few minutes to activate it again there's been times I've misplaced my phone and tried to whistle at it and I hear nothing because I didn't activate it so what's the point of if you have to activate it every often? The app itself is a very good idea and it helps but how do I get it to actually stay on?
Amazing but... This would be even better with a feature that would keep the app open even when you use the "close all apps" programs. Also, the option for an ad-free version would be amazing. I'd pay $0.99-$1.99 for this!
Surprised at how well this works. Can even work when your phone is on mute. Only sometimes gets confused with baby in the house because of high pitch yelling that sounds like whistling. Much better than the clapping app. One more downside: you cannot use your Google speech and Google assistant while this app is active because it occupies the mic.
it works, but ANY whistle will set it off. even my microwave beep set it off. π I recommend adding a feature to customize the trigger (user sets a certain whistle pattern) but hey, not at all a bad idea/concept! keep up the good work!
I thought this was my idea one time then I told myself quit being stupid, obviously some one has already thought about that. And there you were! I would add a voice recognition interaction thing where it hears a certain phrasenin you voice and desponds in a certain manner ansd that is how you locate your phone. Still a 5star app as is!
this app is great for me..im always setting my phone down somewhere in the house and cant find it or my 2 year old hides it.i love how you can pick your own tune! but i wish it had its own volume control..and also it goes off at alot of high pitch tones..if you could fix the sensitivity maybe.
Works better than one would think. Much more sensitive than your "Clap to find phone," app. Whistled 1x and it went off like a charm. Also love the fact that I can add my personal melody to sound off with each whistle. Well done!
it's a good app, what would make it better if it's has a proximity feature, where the phone is close to you the app turns off, but when it's far it automatic turns on. as option of course. also it's needs voice recognization, any little beeps usually set it off which is annoying
I REALLY like that I can find my phone with a whistle, it works well, Thank you! Please allow the microphone to work with this app to speak to text and stop malfunctioning with the processor. This also makes dialing a number difficult.
I enjoyed it a lot. I made it so it talked when i whistled for it! Easy to use, just a push of a button and then when you lose your phone, just wistle! It would be great if it made your phone flash for the front and back to light up as well, though.
it's really effective but it responds to any high pitched sound like a door creaking,scream, people with high voices. so when in public it's kinda embarrassing. also it gives opinions on the sound u want to hear but they are locked and ads are needed to unlock the but the ads don't work
I love the app!!! Only flaw is that it turns itself of after a while. NOT COOL. Fix it so that it runs constantly unless you turn the setting off and it will be perfect!
I just downloaded and I havent tested distance or battery expenditure. The app has a lot of potential and it does exactly what the name suggests- you whistle, it responds...LOUDLY. Mine screams, "Ruuun Eetz Gawdzeella! [ROAR]!" It may even have a personal security application.
needs to be operational after reboot/phone switch on.. and have always on/run in background.. seems that when i may actually want to find my phone.. its automatically disabled itself.. not once have i turned it off.. but for whatever reason it is usually off and not running.. meh till this is sorted.
When I downloaded it worked perfectly, afterward...allni kept hearing is my cell pinging and like 20 minutes later when I did misplace it, it didn't work at all. But it kept making the sounds for no reason...garbage!
I enjoy this app but is there a way you can set it up that the app turns on when your phone is on hybernate after so long? You wont always remember to turn it on and depending on your notification sound it will set it off. Just and idea
I LOVE this!! it has helped me out finding my phone sooo many times. I just wish that the app could always be active, also that it wouldn't take total the use of the mic away from other apps. Other than that this app has me whistling while work, and just plain living!!ππ
You better have good hearing. It only allows you one try. Will not work anymore. One whistle is all you get. Not really good enough. It's no use will be uninstalling it.
