Find Wifi by TruConnect - No Data? No Problem!

I thought this app would be similar to Spectrum cable which i use for my home internet. With Spectrum I was able to create a username and password to login to their network of free hotspots all over. Almost everywhere I go there's a Spectrum WiFi or Cable WiFi that pops up and I get free WiFi all the time with them. This app is nothing like that. It just shows you all the unsecured WiFi signals and a lot of them you can't even use! How are you going to web browse while on a network printer!?!

I used this app on plenty of occasions and I definitely recommend it for those inconvenient times that you unexpectedly run out of data. It does the work itself after instillation.

Annoying widget. Won't stay closed. This app places a card on the lock screen and launches itself automatically even after closing it. Probably using my data to report my location and other info back to the developer. Can't uninstall, so I will be disabling the app in settings.

Why is your only response that your sorry? Instead of offering reliable solutions?Yes it worked fine for a long time but doesn't take me to safe hotspots when I'm outside of my network. And yes it's a battery drainer. Never used it before this phone. Maybe I should just uninstall it but I've read about how successful that's been for others. Frankly I expected better solutions from your company.

I can't stand this app wish I never downloaded it. you can't just drag this after the garbage and trash it you got to go through quite a deal to disable it let alone trash it which makes me not happy as well it's my phone not theirs. I hope other people speak up about this as well.when you can't physically drag and drop something in a garbage can and delete it it was designed to stay there .

If true connect doesn't get rid of this app I will have to leave them. Tired of this app magically coming back on after I've uninstalled it. Kicks me off the internet repeatedly, screws up anything I'm working on, and saves 1000's of public wifi's no where near me that I will NEVER EVER use.

This is a outstanding government app that will try to keep you locked in to the last Wi-Fi station. I am not sure why some computers will cause the Wi-Fi connector go to Blacklist. Computers can program to Blacklist and knock you off for the Wi-Fi.

Just got this phone and after a week I received notification that there were 12 apps needing to be updated... Np, right, we've all gone through this with new phones??? NOT the case here. I don't recall seeing this "find Wifi" app in the list of apps updating??? 🤔 And NOW I cannot get it to stop draining my battery!!! I have UNINSTALLED IT, FORCED IT TO STOP, and now I'm going to take battery out with hopes this will stop the find Wifi demonic possession? Wish me luck@!?

This is NOT free wifi, this does what a cell phone already does, shows a list of places one could connect to IF one has a password. THAT IS ALL, it does not have internet itself. WASTE OF TIME.

I got sim card in the mail put it in my phone and now it has a number keypad. My phone is locked now cant use it. This company is total garbage. A rippoff for sure. I cant even dowload this app. Stops at 87% then my phone restarts google play. Total garbage again. What a scam. I going to file charges with the FBI. I give it a zero stars. Dont use this garbage app. Go to FREEDOMPOP. COM they have totally free talk and text and data for FREE YES I SAID FREE WITH A FREE PHONE TOO.

It turns on at random by itself and drains the battery with out your knowledge if you don't look at your main screen periodically it will use up the phone battery . I do not think it is a suggestible app

Works as advertised and find free Wi-Fi all around displays them on a map so you can drive to it but some are password protected as expected. But a very helpful app find free Wi-Fi

Junk! This app kept disconnecting me from my wifi I at home! Every 15 seconds it would shut off my wifi even after disabling all the permission it kept doing this until I uninstalled this app. Do not get this

Absolutely useless, will not connect to any open WiFi and all its good at is draining your battery and data! Doesn't respond to repeated email's! Scam scam scam!!!!! 😤😤😤

Well since I don't carry wifi connected at home it's a good thing to have reliable connectiones to find the way how to connect to some device yeah I'll recoment this app before they log me out funny since I'm unemployed.

You only get WiFi if it's an open WiFi but if they are locked you are S.O.L Knowing passwords to a router and open WiFi . Nothing is FREE!

Won't completely delete. continues to ask you to connect when you have disabled and deleted this app. Very annoying!

there is literally NO need for this app. your phone already does what this app claims to do. the only thing it does do, is take up storage space on your phone. YOU DO NOT NEED THIS APP

I had WiFi connection up untill I turned this thing on. In my settings 'apps notifications' I found wefi pressed 'force stop' and now I have wifi again thank God.

this app is not very good it's just like WiFi search device & that's not very helpful since the WiFi app does the search it self.

Works great! Very accurate and helpful tool for finding public Wi-Fi. I don't know what I'd do without it.

Ewe. Im totally not understanding how this app actually works for greater reception of my cell phone's wifi reception ????

Basically just scans network like phone does doesn't give you passwords or hidden free WiFi basically a waste of space

Seems kinda redundant when "My Account" app offers the same function in addition to other helpful tools, but does what it says.

Uses way too much battery. And is not useful. App is obsolete. Pretty sure all the five stars reviews are fake!

Doesn't work how described and extremely lacking in the functions departments....

To eliminate battery drainage - go into your settings > App settings > Find wifi > Disable > app permissions > Switch off ALL permissions you CANT uninstall this because its a app that comes pre installed on your divice.
