I downloaded this app to locate my lost Fitbit in my home, my phone was still Bluetooth connected so it was nearby. I searched for over an hour using this app and searching my home antd found nothing. Tl;dr App doesn't appear to help locate Fitbit, ads are aggressive, at one point while attempting to purchase the app I was met with 3 back to videos back ads.
It helped to get me in the right room first and then the signal strength indicator got me to within feet of the Fitbit! Then a slow sweep of the are found it under some blankets. Not all finder apps do this.
Found my Fitbjt Charge 4, but it took a hot minute. after having to unsync the device with my phone, the Bluetooth signal became stronger and more prominent. after some trial and error, finally located my fitbit charge 4.
No matter where i walk in the house it says "you're almost there". The meter never changed. Between that & ads every 3 seconds.. waste of time
God tier app, omg. Sure the ads are annoying but who cares since it works? It was right on the money when it came to helping me find my Fitbit! Honestly, thank you (Devs) so much for not placing this app behind a paywall!
Perfect! It led to my brother's wardrobe because I was playing with him and he put my fitbit in his box! This is free and works well! I will be using this in the future, totally recommend.
This app actually works! it gave me a half strength signal in the rooms I thought I had left it, then took me out the back and I found it outside under the washing line!!
Useless App. Didn't work at all. Ended up looking around and found my device on my own. Just tries to sell you ads and make you pay for the app.
Trying to get ad free version. Won't let me without rating...high So far app doesn't work Gave it 1 instead of 5 stars bc it just keeps making me rate the app, with no option to even buy pro version
Dies not work at all. We know the device in in rhe house because it syncs. App gave no indication at all.
Doesn't work for my inspire HR. Can't even detect it having the watch is just 3 feet away from the phone.
Doesnt at all show me where my flex 2 is as its not an option even though it clearly is in the pictures shown for the app
I've used this app twice now to find my fitbit. First time was outside, in the open, in a park, and the app was VERY useful. Since then, the interface has changed, and it keeps getting interrupted by ads, now which make it 100x harder to find my device. Such a nuisance! Also, it doesn't seem to help as much indoors, with walls and furniture and such. This app has gone downhill.
Terrible process. I understand ads pay your cost. However, I might be willing to pay for the ad free version AFTER I experience one good find. This app would search for 15-20 seconds and then ask if I would like to buy an ad free version (answered no because I don't know if it even works yet) an ad plays. Goes back to searching and then interrupts 15-20 seconds later with an ad. I get it. You need the money but annoying your prospective customers when they're frustrated is not a good practice.
This app is awesome! My Fitbit fell off while play basketball with my brother, and it was dark out. I went inside to help him get ready for practice, and my Fitbit was gone! I spent half an hour looking for it with my phone flashlight, but it ran out of battery. Charged up my phone, and got motivated to go look again before it was too late. I decided that there might be a fitbit finder app, so I searched it and found this. It works amazingly, and for any model of fitbit! Highly recommend it!😉
I lost my Fitbit hiking in sand. The upgraded app found it. I almost missed it because I was looking at the ground. It was hanging from a branch about 3ft off the ground. I was retracing my steps and the app told me when I was getting closer and again when I was standing right next to it. I don't know that if it would have directed me to a particular area. Thanks to whoever developed the app!
I was really surprised this actually worked. I was really skeptical. The ads were annoying, but I was so releaved not to pay money. That's what made me choose this app over another. It's not perfect, I wish it gave you an approximation of how close you are. Example: "you are within 3 feet, look around closely!" or maybe it blinks and changes colors to let you know how close you are. I was like 1 foot away from my fitbit and there was no indicator that I was that close, which threw me off.
The ads occur too frequently, which makes sense given how rarely the app would be needed, but it's a one-time purchase of $4 to make them go away. Also, the ads are simple photos rather than videos which can be immediately dismissed. The instructions are clear, including the valuable advice to turn off Bluetooth on the paired device and search using a different device. The indicator is a visual meter with many levels rather than just 'hot" and "cold" to help you really hone in. Recommended!
works as it should, but interrupting the search every minute to ask if the user would like to upgrade to pro version, then throwing a fullscreen advert is incredibly counterproductive to the purpose of the app. It is pretty distance accurate- when the app said it was very close, my roommates Fitbit was within a foot of my device. Overall functionality works well & it is great for any disorganized Fitbit owner, but the adverts are way too frequent.
it's deceiving. I don't think I should have to pay to upgrade because for the money it costs for a fit bit in the first place, you should include a very high quality tracker along with the package purchase. not a fan of one that keeps interrupting the search with a message to upgrade to pro!!!! Not good for business.
Found my fitbit that had been missing for days. turns out i left it on a shelf. Not the most acurate for my phone but it relies on your phones hardware and how it handles bluetooth (atleast thats what i'd reckon). But it still gave me a very good idea as to where my fitbit was. The ads were annoying. it would be better to instead make people watch a 30 second ad once each time they use the app and not have constant pop ups. If i lose my fitbit again i'll probably pay for it.
I had put it down on my keurig drip tray ( that is new and unused thank goodness) and it fell off the grate into the tray. I have a flex2 and was sad and anxious that i would be unable to replace it for the same price it was originally. It is now discontinued. Its very small. I tried multiple other apps with zero luck for HOURS. i used this one first thing in the morning and found it almost instantly. I used the free version. Thank you!
I couldn't find my fitbit anywhere! I downloaded this app and like the game it would say"closer" and a gauge would show how close. I upgraded to the professional because I knew I would need this again. well worth the $3.99! 1 /14/22 tried again and found it! New phone and they want me to pay again. Changing my rating
