There are some 150,000 refugees in Malaysia. The majority of refugees are from Myanmar, of whom 56,000 are ethnic Rohingya. Some 35,144 are children below the age of 18, and many experience the kind of story being told through Finding Home. The refugee story is often a deeply personal one, difficult to understand. Behind the statistics and the politics of any refugee crisis, are individual human beings with real stories of pain and fear, but also of hope and strength.
Finding Home allows people to walk a mile in a refugee’s shoes in order to understand what they go through every day in order to find safety.
Finding Home was constructed from a series of interviews with many refugee youths and adults in Malaysia to provide as real an insight as possible into the everyday challenges faced by refugees.

I absolutely liked the experience of this game! While I wish the runtime of this game was a bit longer and more story, I thought it was a good experience to play! Decent messages and heartwarming tale!
I love this game and it definitely has a story to it. personally I think the game will be better if longer but it was still fine either way. The characters have a lot of depth into them and are all not the same. It makes you feel that you are really the main character which is really nice. I would love to see more games like that. :D
Very unique game. It just lets us experience a fraction of what a refugee (though I hate that word) feels like, the struggles behind their pained faces. I almost cried when I understood the meaning of Sara's voice message!! 😭
I liked it a lot but even though they talk about the ending they never actually say the game is over and it just goes back to the home screen... Maybe choose a different ending screen?
It was awesome! To many people who think that "Sara Is Missing" is better, please note that the game is kinda inappropriate! With all those pictures and stuff! But this game, it's spreading awareness! I overall loved this game! It's not only a "game" bit it's also a message that reveals what refugees of Malaysia go through! I overall loved this game!
Tis game:short but sweet. I rll.dnt think u done it justice, as it cld.hav:auto-save,options dnt impact story, not tat well executed/written, confusing @times(like wat happen wit-landlord?),some elements dnt rll. belong like call fuction-nd.be more interactive.But I love:the msg.,-it educational/informative,how it progres,characters kindness/respect, how realistic/authentic it is-wit the pics/vids/lang.It does flow-kinda & love how it goes thou difrent aspects of her life. On tat:👍Wel done 👏
I think this app did really great to spread awareness about Rohinga situation. They also tried to tell us how they felt when they were forced to leave their country. Now some of them are in Malaysia, Bangladesh, India and many more countries struggling for their life. Only if we do something to let them lead a little better life, it would be a lotttt better for them.
It was a bit short, but a good suspenseful story. I like how we are in the perspective of this person in the situation.

The experience was very real I felt like I was there with her and her brother made me feel like a hero after rescuing them.

The game is heart breaking. Wish i knew what happened to the woman who got stuck in the detention center. I want to know what happened to her.

The game was great, loved the features making it seem like having a real smart phone. I loved everything, the images, etc. The only thing that I disliked was how the story was short. I wouldve liked how they met up after the bus trip and what their lives are right now. Overall, I liked this game!
