Benefits of Finding Rover’s Facial Recognition for Dogs
• If your dog’s collar has come off, his or her face will be recognized on the app and will provide any finder with the contact information you provide.
• If someone finds your dog but doesn’t have time to look for a microchip, in less than 3 minutes, they can snap a photo and send a text or give you a call.

This app won't let me even download a picture of my lost pet I'm trying to find it takes me through the whole process right up to selecting the photo I want to add but stops working there and never adds the photo it's been that way sense the day I installed it this app would be popular beyond belief if it actually worked right. If you could get all the shelters and rescues to use it for animals brought in to them I think a lot more animals would be reunited with owners rather then adopted out
Errors out trying to input pictures. Doesn't tell you what you're doing wrong. No real instructions and not very intuitive. This could be a very helpful and popular app with some tweaking. As for now, wait for an upgrade
I installed and uninstalled your app 4 times. I got great pictures of 1 of my three 4 Paw babies each time I started over. Every time I did there was a problem getting to upload picture, "something went wrong,try again" message every time. Great idea but just doesn't work. Very disappointing.
App will not let you upload photo of your pet. I have a perfect posed picture, but it keeps saying something went wrong and to try again. However, it wont let you try again, because the app freezes! Junk app. Deleting.
This looked like it would be great, saw it on TV this morning. BUT, it won't let me upload any pictures. I uninstalled and reinstalled, same thing. Says 'oops, something went wrong' no matter how many times or pictures I try. I give up.
I found a dog, and one of the first steps recommended is downloading this app. Which is pretty terrible, since there's very few dogs listed on there at all, and it won't accept any photo I take of this dog. Needs a big update, what the heck is it scanning for? I've tried a bunch of ways to see the "entire" dog in the box. :/
Love the concept of the community watching out for each other's furry friends. Definitely prefer the website over the application. You cannot update your pet's photos with the app; there will be an error message if you try.
even with the best pet photo it says error cant upload photo. do they not realize that there is no perfect pet photo and when your pet is lost of missing you cant just go out and take a new pic. the sensitivity is set to high for uploaded pics. worst app ever. wish I could go lower then 1 star.
Application is practically worthless. Do not let me download a picture of my pet. If I take a picture with their camera does not download it either. Can't add friends from my contacts when do a search. It is useless!!
Pages don't work. I'm seeing missing pets from 40+ miles away???? I see updates from the opposite side of the country and there doesn't seem to be any way to change these settings. What a waste of a potentially good app!
Won't allow me to add pictures. Need to add picture of found dog but keeps saying " oops something went wrong try again later " I have tried multiple times keep getting same message. Please help.
I just recently installed this app and it will not accept any of my pet photos to start a profile for them. It will not accept current photos or a new one taken with the app camera prompt. Pretty useless if I can't upload my pet photos.
I have a lot of photos of my ONE pet at different head angles but theres still a problem uploading a picture? I had the app recommended to me, didnt think it would be this much of a letdown in its most key feature...
Crappy app! Won't let me add a picture just says oops something went wrong. Tried 5 different pictures all with my cat looking at the camera and received the same message on each
The app won't let me update my home address. It still shows my dogs address from the shelter I got her from. Plus it won't let me change her photo. The website is no better and won't let me update anything. Waste of time dealing with such a hassle. Uninstalling.
Won't let me upload any photos of my dog. Always some kind of error no matter how many different photos I try to use. Can't get beyond adding photo portion.
They keep deleting my dog from the lost list! I keep putting him back on. Even when I seach for him daily, he gets moved from the lost listing. If shelters didnt use this app I wouldnt use it. In thoery its a good app.
Worthless app. It won't let me add a photo of my pet. Says there's an error. But doesn't say what the error is. I'll be uninstalling it since it doesn't do what it's intended to.
I would expect an app as basic as this to be seamless but the function just goes in circles never getting me where I need. Mostly it just displays pets for adoption.
They allow random people to register dogs as being in a shelter when they are not. Have zero customer support. My dog is listed as found and currently at a shelter on their site but the shelter says they have never seen the dog. Fix your system so people can't register a dog into a shelter that isn't really there!
I was so excited to get this app and was hoping it would help me to find my two missing cats. However, I can't get it to upload any pictures. In reading the reviews, I see this is a common problem. I sure hope this gets fixed!
I was excited to find out about this app to share with my Lost and Found group. It does not even open!!!!!!!! I have installed and installed it 3 times!!
This app isnt that good i have lost my cat for a month now i tryed uploading his picture and it scanned it and kept saying something wrong with the file please try again i tryed with 3 different pictures no good
I have tried to upload a perfect picture of my missing furbaby.. it and keeps telling me, "OOPS... Something went wrong. Try again later." PLEASE FIX ASAP!!

This app will not upload any of my lost dogs photos. The pictures I attempted to load were exactly like the example provided. Waste of time.
Well I would give it more stars if it would upload my pets pics. They sit and posed and the scanner isn't grasping it. Says Oops... Please fix. I was so excited to use it BC they r promoting on tv.
Im searching for my lost cat so my criteria are strict. This app is polished and smooth until its not. The design is nicely divided into lost/found/adoptable and each listing gives a reasonable amount of detail. But the listings are not divided into species and when I tried to complete my profile by adding a section on my lost cat it repeatedly stalled at uploading the photo. I sent a report. Got my picture uploaded.. When is the facial recognition aspect going to kick in?
