findit

findit takes the roadside signs and supermarket posters of businesses and events and put them on Google Maps for the world to see !

We came up with the idea to "findit" after travelling and realizing that often it is - ironically - hard to find the exiting local shops and events which we find make trips to other places the most interesting.

So we created "findit" - the app you see here and the website at http://findit.global to try to address this challenge.

You can use "findit" in 2 ways:

1) As a customer to explore up-to-date information about shops, events and the products available today. You can also check opening hours, phone number and credit-card acceptance. You even get guidance on how to get there and if you can make it before closing time.

2) As a shop owner to put your business "on the Map" and easily manage the products you have on stock right now so you clients will not drive to you in vain.

We sooooo hope you will help os make "findit" fly ! The more you share it and the more shops sign up, the more value we can bring to customers and providers alike.

"findit" is still in its early stages, but we are bursting with ideas to make it better - however we need to be able to show that people like it in order to raise further funding.
