I really enjoy using this app as a trial version, however, I believe that there should be an addition with a way to adjust the resolution setting before capturing each document or image. This way I can see clearly the text on the screen or in the documents.
Awesome scanner probably one of the best easily out beats Microsoft scanner as well as some of the other extremely popular and high on the list picture and information scanning applications . I use it for a legal documentation all the time and it's basically like it went through a commercial scanner within extremely high quality image and information showing at the end results
It does what it is able to do with the hardware. And that's not much on a mobile phone. But even with readable scans the result is frequently beyond discussion. Better get yourself a PC and a proper flatbed scanner.
Text recognition does not work offline. App does not allow adding more than one pdf file at once. Can't recognize PDF files larger than 100 MEGABYTES . Does not recognize the existence of .gif files. Very tedious. Can't select multiple files from the file explorer. Not reliable.
FineScanner is easy to use and eliminates purchasing a scanner and printing. I really like how you can easily crop and edit your pictures before saving as a PDF. Sharing to email, Google Drive, and more is simple and super efficient.
app is terrible. got a one year subscription for 70% off and still overpaid. if you scan a page that's even slightly bent, god help you. hard to deal with when free apps like text fairy don't have that problem. here are examples of what this app considers to be words: “v' tl'ir"cn, cUI11, prt) 1 CI, and "8 a8° rn. this is with good lighting, a non-blurry image, and the camera positioned 15-30cm above the text, as they recommend. don't waste your money.
Total scam. You know i got the scanner from Amazon only to be thrown into a confusion about software that was advertised as free was false advertising. You have to buy a membership. A claim must be filed against them, I'm willing to start and represent anyone who has experienced something similar subsequently we have a case. Consumer rights shouldn't beviolated.
It took just a moment to recognize the data in a table and accurately add it to a spreadsheet. Once you pick the best resolution there is no stopping the scanning. I am happy to sign up for the premium and will easily get my money's worth. Thanks
I recently did a big cleanup n throw away of my stuff to downsize. As I'm moving away next year. With this app and help of ScannerBin phone stand I was able to scan some 10,000 pages of books/labels/items/loose papers. . Then easily upload to Google Drive.
I liked its overall performance to much as compare to other apps in market. I gave it 4 Stars because just one issue is there i.e. the pdf(s) which are created after scan(s) are not zooming out as required. Please solve this problem.
It was once my fav scanner app, but suddenly it show "no apps can perform this action" when I wanted to share my file. Even after uninstall and reinstalling the app...same issue occurs. Guess I should just move on and download other scanner app
does great job at maintaining the format of scanned document converting my receipts into editable excel. but not 100%of the time it's sometimes mixes up format of columns but the actual text recognition data is always accurate
Limited Usability: I don't see a way to share an image to the app. I don't see a way to navigate my device folder structure and open an image directly. I don't believe it supports dropbox. my device is samsung t-860. i am running android 10
App is buggy and keeps crashing. I scanned a document but every time I try to review the document the app crashes. App is broken. Do not purchase a premium subscription!
fantastically easy to make an editable copy of textbooks quickly. the 70% off for premium offer for the first 1 hour you have the app makes this a fantastic buy. the ai ocr makes no mistakes outside of math equations.
Crashes when I get above 20 some pages scanned, losing that work and time. On the filters I wish there was gray scale with white background option.
Good pic quality and does everything I want it to. Switched over from CamScanner, and this is already leagues above for the fact that I can actually find the pictures I take on my phone's drive when I plug it into my computer.
ABBYY Has the best products ever. That works fine and it allow me to read content from any type of document. Very useful solution for my everyday use. I RECOMMEND THAT APPLICATION !!!THANKS ABBYY
Hey ! Guys I am loving this app 😍 just a feature which is letting me away to give it 5 star is to add signature in that scanned doc. So please it's my humble request to you to add signature feature for free and that too with two options:- first to add signature by hand writing and other to add signature by taking photo of signature written on a blank page so that it will scan that signature and apply it to that doc. Please I loved your work guys just add this feature. Humbly requesting you!!
It's very nice app. But only problem is when I converted into pdf form and I open in Google drive the pages are get zoomed. So kindly fix this problem.
Scanned documents does not reproduce the perfect copy of the original, as I have noticed while scanning my academic transcript.....e.g. scanned documents look hazy inspite of having ample light during scanning ..
Thinking of buying I need the app to back up to G DRIVE but the app require access to entire Google drive folders , not the folders created by Abby fine reader app , thinks risky , if they can adress the matter please advice . Kinda Okay (but not the best) for scanning pencil sketches but not any good for anything Coloured. This is for a more text based scann then art.
There is no option to apply auto croping setting to all pictures same size. But we have to crop one by one to unnecessary areas. The function is owsom if added to this app
I am a supervisor, and when I dont have my flatbed scanner this is my backup. Sent many a time ticket into the office. Love the auto scan. Thanks guys, tried others but this by far is the best. Using a Galaxy S 8.
Have been satisfied till now. Gets basic work of scanning things done pretty well. Also, I have a good camera quality which helps. And please don't introduce your watermark on images in future
After using this app I am convinced that Google Play shows a lot of partiality when showing search results. I have been constantly looking for a quick & reliable solution for document scanning. I Never saw this app's name on the search results( yes, I was searching for a proper scanning app for a long time). But had I ever come across this app I hadn't installed those useless so-called scanners. So, extremely delighted to drop a review, I think this should be enough to appreciate the hardwork.
