Guys you are getting there! Recent versions have added nice visualisations to things like user activity, which is the kind of functionality I've wanted in Fing for years. Please however also add this for the general network activity data. Some kind of graph that groups different event types (with a filter to ennable/disable them) so that they can be seen visually over time would be fantastic.

This was once a great app. Fast, lean, FREE, OPEN SOURCE, intuitive, good looking and powerful. Now reduced to a platform for serving ads and nagging users, asking for paid subscriptions. It comes with a bunch of bugs and a few network tools included. The paid ad-free version we were promised could have been a good alternative but it never showed up!

I've used this for more than 10 years. Works well. However the latest versions, bugging me to sign in, to try the router scan, etc. Have become over the top. It looks like its time to move on.

App does not search for devices any more. Last result was 2months ago. There is no way to apply a search action. Just what is going on here. Am i missing something, As i dont think i have suddenly over night lost all of my IQ rating...

I just tried to use it after not needing it for a while, and I'm being blocked by a survey request. And, No, I don't even want to respond to "Maybe later", that still FORCES me to respond to a survey that I don't want to respond to. Uninstalling, maybe I'll try this app again someday, but I have other ways to do this that are not obnoxiously intrusive.

Great app! The user interface is just great! Also there are no ads, which is really good! And the fact that you can see who is connected on your network, and you can even remove the device, is AWESOME! KEEP IT UP!!!

Used to be very helpful tool... Now it's one big bloatware! Popups everywhere, "lifetime offers"... everywhere. Been paying for ad-free version to see an ads. Not anymore.

Use Ning on (F-Droid). Fing a free tool that pivoted 2 greedy a$$ sub. tactics. Honestly it does not function properly anymore. I have no less than 2 cams & ~10 devices. Somehow it only sees my phone! Merlin OpSec? NO b/c Ning gives it all w/o harassment! 🤪 IP fixed but still no results! Perhaps my OpSec fu 2 good? Harassing 4 💩 I don't need ($)! It's easy to use but I really don't like it. I've been using it since Android 3-4? Awhile! Change app name it's not Fing anymore more like ding

When I check network speed on Fing and then Google, there is difference of more than 20mbps (less in fing). I don't know which one is correct.

There is a lot to like about this app and the whole Fing system, except!, they don't have any desktop options for Linux. I'd be more inclined to pay up if my system was supported.

Good tool, but it doesn't store state...if i want to tag the devices on the network i can't, the moment i refresh everything is gone.would love to have an update with the above change.

I bought a Fing box and was quite pleased initially, even though not everything worked as it does not handle ipv6. Over time though, much of the functionality has been removed and you need to pay to get it back. Now I am getting spammed with more functionality to pay for which I don't want.

Very impressive. No root required. Faster & WAY-more accurate than other network tools & wifi scanners

Not possible to scan a wifi network for devices that is not connected to the internet. "Not connected" message simply not true.

Awesome app. It does a lot of the same stuff you'd do using multiple apps but in greater detail and all on this one app. It's a mandatory app to have in my opinion. Awesome job on this fellaz!

Love this app altho I found a app that does something I wish this one did it has wifi signal strength grabbing to map out signal strength and you can mark several places where you were and it has a graph that updates as you move closer to the source which is nice to have. It's called Wi-Fi analyzer it also has Lan lookup.

Good app to do some basic scanning of active devices on your network and some pings/traceroutes. But... No ipv6 support??? Really guys what's up with that? It's 2022, and if your apps don't support ipv6 you are going to have problems. I've removed fing and finding something else. Cheers.

Udpating, updated to newer version. Required login on Fing Desktop then SSO constantly, almost always failed is FORKING killing me...... had set/changed to use Firefox, Chrome, and even forking Microsoft Edge as the default browser on Win10. NO DICE!

App usually freezes after I use it for a few minutes, sometimes it doesn't even get past the splash screen, the Internet tab sometimes says "no internet connection" even when there is.

This app was awesome at one point in the past. Now its terrible for a few different reasons but the thing that is most difficult to swallow is the constant harrassment designed to get you to paid / premium. The final straw for me was a box that popped up when I loaded the app, in which the 'closed button had been greyed out to make it appear like it couldn't be selected. This is insidious and shameful manipulation. Uninstalling.

Great app for helping see if something is wrong in my networks. Only issue I have is the CLEAR DEVICES or CLEAR DOWN DEVICES doesn't work. Used to work in older versions but not any more.

I originally purchased The Fing box in 2016, it came with lifetime support and a guarantee that you would get all the features for the life of the product. It was all a lie, fing went to a paid service and my Fing just died, I don't care because I just purchased a Firewalla Gold and fing is going in the trash where it belongs. See ya...

Used to be useful network tool, now bloatware app. Simple was better.

Fing USED to be the BEST--NOT ANYMORE..It used to show TCP Services and their corresponding port numbers-very useful to see if someone is Honing in on your wifi- But, THAT Very Important Feature has been Removed From the App!!!

I have never reviewed anything in my life and I am 50 years old. This app is so bad I am writing my 1st review. Anything you try to ping or traceroute gives you false information. I was actually believing what this app was showing me was correct until my brother in law who is an IT expert and watched the results pointed out how inaccurate this app is. It was pinging and tracerouting by Mac address, not IP address. Impossible to do. We used Zenmap to verify. Don't install this!
