Edit: The new update wanted to app to turn to a subscription service. maybe worth a $1 a month but not what they are asking. Was Exactly what I was looking for. I downloaded at least 6 other fire shift calendars and this one is my favorite by far.
Free version was perfect, won't be paying to use a calendar. Prefer to put in the extra effort on my already free calendar app.
I don't know why they made it so that we have to pay. It was great before as the free version. Did absolutely everything and was fantastic. Absolutely ridiculous that we have to pay for it now. Finding another app.
It used to be a convenient little app. Until the last update which required a subscription. It's 4 bucks per month ($48 per year). Honestly it's just as easy to print a shift calendar and take a pic for free. Needless to say, I'll be uninstalling this waste of space..sad it came to this.
This was a great app. Clean UI and perfect for what I needed. Not only that but it was awesome to be able to have family members download it so they could know when I worked and make plans accordingly. $4 a month for a subscription? Absolutely not. Pathetic money grab.
I have used this app for the better part of 3 years and now suddenly I have to pay for it in order to keep using it? Previous users were not even given an option to opt out or continue using the free version. What a terrible business model. Uninstalling and will never recommend ANY app by Deji to anyone ever again. Deji's response is that "its impossible to remain free with new features such as online syncing... blah blah blah." I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure none of us asked for that anyway.
As of December of 2021, they began charging for this app, and while it was a good one, it's not worth what they're asking. I'll be finding a different app, which is a shame.
So easy to keep up with my schedule without counting out days. Edit 12/10/2021 This was a great app and the easiest to use for 24/48 shifts until a subscription pay wall was put in. Now the app is useless unless you want to pay a ridiculous price for a calender app.
Free version was great and did everything that was needed. I will be using a different free service as $4 a month for a calendar is ridiculous. Wish I knew that they were going paid so I could have recorded all my information I already had in there for my own records. Bad business.
This app was free was amazing when it was but the most recent update turned it to a paid subscription, so I'll go to the next person that made a calendar app that literally just predicts what your schedule is. Thanks but no thanks, I'm not paying for that
Free version was fantastic, I understand developing and making your product better isn't free but they kind of just threw the paid version on us without giving us an option to stick to the free version. I don't need online syncing.
Not impressed with the recent update to the app. I want the old one back. Preferred when an entire month fit on the screen, instead of just 4 weeks. Was much better before the update. Found a better app.
It was great until they got greedy and asked for an obsured amount of money based on a yearly subscription.
The app is great however it does not properly show the correct shifts after/before the date of the start of a new shift pattern.
even though you say you don't have an alarm. I am an alarm that shows your app it goes off before every Duty day. Getting rid of it it's too small print and annoying.
Being a firefighter can get confusing with swapping time,paying time back etc. But I'm able to put in my shifts,when I get paid, when i owe someone time back and vacations etc. Extremely satisfied with this app!
It would be a great app, but it does not let me set pay periods to bi-monthly or Kelly days in day format instead of week. My Kelly day cycle is 24 days so I can't set mine correctly.
Calender worked as intended, but when you ask for $4 a month for a calender app that just highlights reoccurring events like work days and edos. Ya, no thanks there are plenty of others out there.
It is accurate and shows off shifts like my daughter's 24 off, 24 on, 24 off. It would be better to have tell icon show as colors of days, like I have green days for off and red for work days.
Great app, but I wish one could see the other shifts at a glance, instead of being able to see but one shift.
This is a great app... Just wish this app had a calendar widget or it synced with my Google calendar. Other than that it is a great app and very helpful
it's ok but I cant add all 3 shifts to the calendar. I to be able to see all shifts when I open a calendar for planning. would not recommend.
Why in the world do I need an account in order to view the calendar? Why change it if it isn't broken. Absolutely ridiculous.
was great until it went paid, not because it was a subscription but the app refused to launch/function after the change. Reinstalled and restarted phone to no avail
The old addage if it ain't broke don't fix it comes to mind. This new update comes with a paid subscription which I don't mind and have agreed to. However, I can't get the app to open past the subscription page. Definitely will be looking for another shift calendar app.
