It is having extreme difficulty with sites you post comments on. Doubling up words, Google locking up, acting erratically voice to txt takes forever to come up and barely works. really need to address this issue. I do miss Firefox would like to go back on a regular basis. The reason I left it was slow the speed really hasn't improved tremendously over chromium-based web browsers. Perhaps it's time to move to a chromium base and you just your skills to build off of that. Still the same problems
One of the best and open source browsers in the market. One of the best features is that you can install addons that work in PC version of Firefox, and majority of them works flawlessly in this Android version. Thus it greatly extends the functionality of the browser. And Firefox is the only true alternative for all other Chrome based browsers.
Very slow compared to what it used to be. Slow internet makes the UI slow. It randomly deleted all my open tabs when "close tabs" set to never. Still missing a ton of extensions with which compatibility was broken. Sometimes it refuses to load a tab and does content from the tab next to it but the correct address, and reloading doesn't work.
First, they came for the extensions and about config. What's next? I'd appreciate it if the stable version got about config back. Also, stop enabling features like shortcuts and pocket on the homepage if I already disabled it. Credit where credit is due. This is the only browser I use on Android due to the extension support. Fantastic!
It was the best before update. After the recent update the video player has some issue. The videos on all site are only displaying upper corner part of video. If you download then it is complete however while streaming it is only a part of it. Also, please add a way to switch between incognito and normal mode by swiping toolbar
This is a minor gripe, but a recent update seems to have lightened the colors of the UI slightly in dark mode and now everything is a little too bright to be comfortable for me. I use the Dark Reader extension to change the background color of webpages but the persistent UI elements (navigation and top bar) are now a very contrasting shade of grey. A good dark mode is important to me for avoiding eye strain and I usually do a lot of reading in the browser, so I'm not sure what to do now.
Great browser! Lots of useful features! I use it on all my devices. Fast and easy on system resources. I choose to use it as my default browser. I wish I could uninstall my factory default browser (not just the updates) and use only Firefox. With all the features you could think of or need, Give it a try and see what all the fuss is about! Pleasant browsing!
Dismal lack of features compared to desktop, or even v56 for android. No save page, no save tabs, etc. Many great security addons no longer work. Tor uplift is good, but 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Needs an easy anti fingerprinting setup page, with per site & global settings. Let us choose random or block!
An enormous disappointment! Unlike the desktop (Windows) versions of Firefox, this seems crippled. One omission that plagues me regularly is the inability to manage bookmarks. How difficult can that be? Also, the Beta version seems to lack the ability to sync with the Windows version (which does exist on the regular Android version, but the matter of a lack of bookmark management is still a problem). I am relying more on Brave for my browsing these days.
Not ready for android, tool bar to customize does not exist. You are not able to place your bookmark tabs on menu bar field. I like the look and feel. I want this browser to work BUT unable to customize android features across all device's results in a messy non-standardize interface.
almost all add-ons i use is available, it is fast, customization is also good i like to keep it look minimal. just sync is little slow other than that everything is good it is my main web browser both on pc and android great work 👏 to team Mozilla
Video player problem. If you like the videos, the zoom becomes more and half of the videos become blurred. There is no other problem but there is a problem with using the browser due to video problem.
This app, at least for me, has the most solid adblocking options, that works as intended. Especially, for YouTube ads. Minus one star for the limited numbers of extension. I hope more extensions are made available soon.
Finally it restores all the things that were good with the old 68ish versions: address bar on top, tiles for tabs, and pocket. Still not compatible with all add-ons but it does have all of the most important ones. Dark mode is a huge addition. Great work!
Firefox is the only browser I trust. I do not trust Google Chrome!!!! I am pissed off at the developers of Firefox for removing the about:config from normal Firefox for Android and making me use Firefox Beta for Android. I feel Firefox on PCs and Firefox on android, there should be no difference between the two of them.
Firefox has been a really good browser for me. I've had troubles switching between browsers, but I think I've settled for Firerox. It's fast, private, and userfriendly.
I do not want a new tab opened and stored every time I start this app. If I open a link I will decide if I want to bookmark it or add it to a collection. Just deleted 14 tabs all leading to the same page that have already bookmarked.
Good app! However, need the UI improvement for the foldable phone like Z fold 3. Should enhance the layout such as the address bar automatically change and re allocate the icons when fold and unfold the phone. This kind of transition is essential! Next, allowing to close a open tab of other devices like safari is another suggestion!
If you use a keyboard or mouse, this is not for you. I hate to say it, but Chrome is the better choice in this case, if you can live without addons, or maybe the old Firefox 56, before Quantum.
Very impressed with this browser and it's versatility. Still trying to figure out how to set up a VPN with Firefox. I downloaded 2 VPN add ons and that's how far I got with it.
I remember now why I stopped using this app. They still have not reintroduced the ability to print an article or web page. There isn't even an add on to allow any type of printing.
My only gripe is that, I should've update the Browser App 1st before reinstalling the Extension. It is much more easier than looking for the *.xpi filename. Lesson learned.
Mostly better than chrome. It would be great if they add ability to print and pull down to refresh the page.
Definitely in the top ten..if not the top five... on e & for all, this app takes everything into consideration...& does not overdue it. And honestly, throughout my endeavor into "iOS Land" {ugh 😩} ..this is one of the only browsers that will ALWAYS OPEN MY PAGES... EVERYTHING!! No b.s.~ even bypassing edge, chrome, safari, even opera!!......whatever you developers are doin'...you are doin' right..!✨👍👽
Are you guys planing to fix the "302 moved error" it looks like it has been an issue for quite a while and it's irritating to have to keep pressing back when I go use the app
Miss double tap to advance in videos like on chrome. Also can't set up custom search engine, doesn't save it.
It crashes upon launching. I appreciate that Firefox development is moving fast but the beta version is becoming too buggy.
The ability to install privacy Add-ons is the best. Quick and responsive, it's been my daily driver for years now.
Things keep showy improving since Mozilla decided to move Firefox preview to beta. The app is now stable, quite fast, and most of the annoyances are fixed. The UI, specialty the tab system, is actually good and customizable. Still lacks some extensions but in my eyes the project is again at competitive level.
Would be a great update if only so many features weren't missing. add-ons support is severely limited (as in only ublock is supported). Add-ons are the main reason Firefox is my main browser. I hope someone is listening and add-on support is given HIGH priority. Then there so much missing that this is not a replacement for Firefox of old. Definitely not ready for prime time. The new UI is GREAT, but we want the missing features back, that's why we use Firefox.
