It features GIS generated maps of real world locations combined with accurate calculations for tile size (1 chain = 66' or 20m), movement speeds (mph), cut speeds (chains/hr), water capacity(gal), water input/output speeds (gpm) and so much more!
Is it a game or a simulator? In fact, it's a little bit of both!
Four years ago we built the original FireJumpers
- Wildfire RTS as a mobile game. A few months after the launch, we were contracted by our Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources to build them an Air Attack Officer training module using FireJumpers as the platform. From that experience, we continued to refine the simulator via FireJumpers Sandbox, using it as our own testing grounds for two years as we added features and ironed out the bugs. Last November 2015, we began building FireJumpersPRO.

The main purpose of FireJumpersPRO is to give wildland firefighting agencies a great and affordable simulator. After speaking with countless wildland firefighters over the years, we were able to incorporate many of their ideas into FireJumpersPRO, such as being able to train on GIS maps of their familiar areas, to customize their units to better reflect their squad capabilities, to have a dynamic randomized fire model to keep things different everytime and to be able to manipulate weather conditions and terrain properties. Basically, FireJumpersPRO is the combination of a fire spread model with a fire suppression model. Agencies also have access to detailed analytics such as hectars on fire, hectars burnt, total water used per unit (and combined), total chains cut and more!

- Create private rooms
- Unit Editor: Create custom units and save them to the server for your training scenarios. You'll have access to all unit parameters, from movement speeds, water capacity, effective range, can transport unit, water and/or retardant, is road only, cut speeds, dozer speeds and more!
- Terrain Editor: Update terrain types and customize fire behavior and movement restrictions as well as visual appearance.
- Wind Indicator: Change wind speed & direction and it's random behavior parameters
- Game Speed: Access to speeding up the game up to 100x (max 5x for free users)

Its a fantastic game! I only rated it 3 stars because you can't buy a permanent token, at least I think. And I do not want to keep on buying tokens over and over. Other than it its a pretty cool game!
i have played this before and i really want to be in the forest survice and follow in my dads foot steps he is the fuels specialist for the Cherokee National Forest I really like this simulator but I have one problem it wont load and I would really like for that to be fixed if u can because I've played this before and it's one of the best simulators out there I will give you five stars because you've so worked hard on this and it's hands down the best and helps with the learning aspect thank you
Love the game. But I only have one problem it freezes and then tells me it is not responding then kicks me out and I can't play on. But otherwise I love the game.

I only rated bad because, I start the game and the only thing I see is, you need to update it. (It's been fully updated, I even uninstalled and reinstalled
I would write a complaint, there was a player online and I could not join him here was no button to join the server had one player
Use to play this on a galaxy S6, long time ago, worked great. I now have an galaxy S8 active, game crashes sometimes and I cant get units to move or do anything, they just sit there and there's no fire spread. Server issues? Or am I doing something wrong?
I am really confused about the game beacuse it won't let me put down the vechels

Only I bought the damn game because it said offline mode was only available after purchase.. with that being said .. where the duck is offline mode Huh? ..great game tho would be be even better if it was offline due to being in the Bush half the time ,I am a firefighter

I really like this game cause it is realistic, and is has soooo many different options, but I wish you would update your firejumpers sandbox with more stuff and vehicles and maps. But anyways both games are so good that I bought the add-ons and they where total worth it too, but the game is still very enjoyable with out them. Keep up the good work dude. =) ( and I might as well ask, but do u need any beta players?)

Awesome. Just finished my first run. It said I did great, but I was horrible. The sim was fantastic. It will be even better once I get used to how things work. We didn't have this tech when I worked for CDF (now Cal-Fire). I'd like to run this sim on a computer with a large screen. It sure gives me a lot of ideas for different applications, scenarios, IC training with multiple division and task groups. I can't wait to see what else you come up with.
