FIREPROBE Speed Test

Works quickly, reliably, and efficiently. I've had it for several years and it's always worked well. Excellent app!!!

Fireprobe is useful for determining the quality of the internet connection on your phone. It also allows correcting and improving of it. As such, I would consider it an important app to have. Unnecessary files and the need to refresh the wifi all can affect how good the internet is, and weather you have it, at all !!

The privacy policy is disturbingly vague about what will be done with my data, and the only way to prevent everything being shared is to give up on saving results for your own use - sneaky. So I'm uninstalling. Pity, as it's otherwise good (except for the coverage maps, which are so lacking in detail that they're no use).

Seems Great. Only just started using it. Full of information and seems to be accurate so far. Only minor negative is the visuals look like they were made 5-10 years ago and could really do with a major visual update for todays design language but it's purely visual so doesn't warrant a reduction in stars in my opinion as the function of the app seems perfect.

Honestly I love the app not only because it does exactly what it says it does and it's very precise. Moreover I love the idea of using it 15 times and you get the full version.

Subtracting a star for occasionally obtrusive ads (not always, but compared to others like it). options to choose between different measurements methods (application or net interface) or connection type (http or TCP)can give you a better idea of how your how to service performs in various conditions that I don't recall some other speed tests even offering. Plus I love the dart mode because I have an amoled screen. moderate background testing signal moddering doesn't seem too hard on battery.

With this application, I am able to actually test and see exactly where I was standing when I test the internet speed and signal strength. Here in Sacramento, California with Xfinity Wi-Fi, it is Spotty Wi-Fi, It is VERY SPOTTY! For example, some streets, like on 16th Street, where Blue Diamond Almond Factory is, you have no signal! But, like when you're downtown, at the Library on 8th and H Street, you have perfect signal, and across the street at the park, there is no Xfinity Wi-Fi!!!

This is the most comprehensive speed tester I have ever used. You will have the most feedback you ever wanted after pressing the start button once. It will even purge all applications cache data with 1 button also. So simple to use, yet it does so much. You will even know how your applications will perform under all kinds of loading conditions. As demanding as I am, even I could not ask for more from this app. Make this the very next application that you download. IT IS EXCELLENT.

Easy to use, results are easy to understand, testing is very quick. Everything you could ask for in a speed test app. Although the app does have ads, I didn't notice them. They can be removed for free simply by rating this app. ( that's a first for me 😁 ) Still working as well as first day!

Very useful app, in that it'll retain many past test results in which you can compare APN configuration's to ensure the very best APN feature configuration setup with the greatest test results to apply to your phone 👍...for better video quality speed's, and faster browsing etc.,. Great App!. Would give it a 5++ if I were able... anyways, real Nice work 👌 Developer('s)👍!.

Results of app are incredibly inconsistent and inaccurate. Running on a Snapdragon 845 Samsung Note 9 connected to a ASUS RT-Ac3200 router with a 300/300 FiOS internet. Only tests from one server, results vary from 4ms latency with 1ms jitter to 79ms latency and 246ms jitter with speeds from 42mbps to 260mbps. I can absolutely guarantee the ONLY result it gave accurately at any point. In time was the 4ms latency with 1ms jitter and nothing else.

First impressions were not so good. didn't like the UI, but this is a great app especially once the dark theme is activated. One other good point to note is that it lets you remove the ads absolutely free. Well worth 5 stars in my opinion.

The results were so full of ads and upgrade offers that it was hard to even use the app. Seems like just an average speed test app but with more than I average ads and overhead. .

First of all, why does it insist for phone calls permission, everytime, extremely annoying and misleading. Second, to me it shows unexpected high speeds, 98mbps, while my wifi link speed was 54mbps. Three other well known speed tests were showing around 37mbps, and this one 98, wow. Amazing job guys, keep it up. Uninstalled.

An app that does exactly what it says it will do when you want it to. Very simple to use and appears to be accurate when I have tested it against other Wi-Fi spread measurements. It's so simple and uses little memory it should be downloaded by all. Congratulations and thank you to all those involved in the production of this app.

Out of all the internet speed checking app Fireprobe offers more features than others I've looked at. It is fast and provides the same speed test results of other similar products. Had I found this one first I likely would not have looked at other stores test apps.

Even at reduced [Android Phone Size], the fonts were much to large for the display region. When I toke this to Full Screen [Google Pixelbook i5 8GB/256GB, Stable State ChromeOS], the entire right side of the [Adndroid Phone Size] minimal display area, was truncated, making this App useless. I do not understand how this gets such a high rating, possible from Android Phone users only, not Chromebooks.

Interesting stats not often seen in other speed test apps – like jitter. As with all speed tests, you have to trim it a second time to get a better speed readout. The speed (on all speed test to apps) indicates a slower than normal speed. But then, with a second test, the app indicates a faster speed. Not sure why that is – but that is how things are with all speed test apps.

When i need an App like this I usually go on Google & ask what the best 5 Speed Tests are. Then I download all 5. And see which one seems the most accurate. Has some bells & whistles but not overboard. Then I make my choice and dump the other 4. You guys Won this time. I had bought a new Router & wanted to test it against the one rented by the Cable Company. This App did a superb job. So much so that I actually kept it. Because normally, like the other 4 this goes also because there's no need.

I read a lot of the reviews which is why i decided to install it. After trying several others, this app amazed me to begin with. Now, after a few hours, my phone is back to being as it was, if not a bit slower, than before installing it. Therefore, I'm uninstalling it for a while. Hopefully within that time it will be back to the "amazing" preformance it started out to be. Then i may consider reinstalling. Thank you for looking into this matter. I really was impressed!

Seriously good app, searched for accuracy, simplicity, understandability, (that's now an actual word, 'cos I said so). One tiny adverse comment..., I think the appearence (graphics) could do with a 21st centuary up-date. But really couldn't deduct a star for this. Thanks, Trevor L

EXCELLENT. Lots of speed tests out there. This one is easy to use, provides useful info, keeps history, and even allows you to refresh your WiFi connection. Definitely worth a try!

The APP is not bad at all. You might make it so it can remember your main settings beyond the normal use like special settings like your sharing settings, and others you might set, or change. Not bad otherwise.

This is a superb app. It helps me to schedule my internet use to coincide with the times when connectivity speed is fastest. I would recommend it to everyone who values high productivity online.
