Content is good. However, many links within this app, which are supposedly meant to link to various parts of the Red Cross website, are broken. eg if you are interested in purchasing a First Aid kit, it says We couldn't find the page you were looking for. The URL may be misspelled or the page you're looking for is no longer available. It seems most of the links unfortunately do this. Hopefully they fix them soon.
Yes, the information you've provided is fantastic & certainly is a must for all Australians, visitors too. However, have available some maps where certain pests are found around our country & please, please, please, you need a lot of appropriate pictures throughout this App. Saying, reading is one thing but to visually see, identify is another. A picture is worth a thousand words & when a person's life is suddenly in your hands, the right identifying image could be the key in saving their life.
Great app. Handy to read how to plan & prepare household for an emergency situation & learning/testing yourself on different medical emergencies. Also has an emergency section with easy to follow steps for different situations. FYI...some of the links to external websites are no longer current & not all of them open as secure websites.
Very useful app, may I recommend including simple pictures to help with diagnosing / proving first aid? For example in my experience as a teacher I was staggered by how many people did not recognise an adrenaline autoinjector or know how to use one. A simple picture of what it might look like and how to use may save lives.
Excellent app...should be on everyone's phone
Excellent app. Despite other comments it does have CPR instructions, just not an obvious item. It's buried in a scenario where you'd need it (eg unconcious). Very easy to use and the right information when you'd need it
Red cross first aid app is awesome Straight to the point.Explains things in everday english and easy to follow and understand .I use it all the time and extremely recomend it as Australias No1 First aid app Best in Australasia the info provided saves lives
Good idea putting in the auto call Emergency and Poison Hotlines, moving diagrams and timer. Very useful. Could do with detailed steps though.
It is good all the reviewers say but the most important thing is that there has not been a single reply from the redcross to any questions asked by reviewers especially as to why it can't be used off-line. For a global organisation it is so important to answer the questions asked but the red Cross does not answer any questions.
Some links to external sites do not work but the overall information is fantastic and in a simple way to read and understand esp in emergency.
Plenty of really important and accurate information for treating all manner of injuries. Even though I'm first aid trained it gives me peace of mind that I can draw on it in most situations.
It needs a search function (digging through menus for information wastes precious emergency time) but it's great that there's finally an app with Australian first aid information.
This is a good application which I recommend to all my rescue team members. Being mobile based appeals to the younger members and the learnings are worth reviewing for even trained 1st aid volunteer responders. 1st rate
Easy to follow and something my whole family now has. With young kids and family history of heart conditions this app would be a life saver.
What a great idea! All of the emergency information at your fingertips and handy tests to refresh your knowledge.
Grest app but with everything that is going on at the moment, i can't help but feel info on covid-19 would have been useful in dispelling fears and quashing stupid remidies like those that Trump is sprouting. Kinda missed the boat there guys.
I'm sure it's just me, but I can't get the right answer to one of the Prepare quiz questions (4). I've tried all possible combinations without success.
All people going overseas should have before going
An excellent App. Has all the right basic info anyone providing first aid needs! It is easy to use!
Great app, wish it had a search bar for quicker searching. Also please add a guide for managing / detecting temperature?
Brilliant app. Lots of information including questions to make sure you know what you've learnt.
This is a very useful app for learning and for quick reference in an emergency.
Good to keep yourself up to date. I do agree with other reviews that a search bar would be good.
Haven't needed it in an emergency yet but it's good to have it on my home screen. Also great for learning first aid
Brilliant recommend this app to anyone, and especially Mother's and/or Father's ,Carers of children who have never done a first aid course.
Very handy app to have anytime, whether anyone has problems or not... best to be prepared.
the app starts and needs new data down loaded fails to download. tried on wifi and data reinstalled.
Its easy and easy to understand. The apps really helping when needed.
Very easy common sense app with 7 categories to test your on the go skills, a great place to do a refresher.
