App has been great up until a few months ago but now the number of ads have increased. The bigger problem is with trying to watch the weather videos. The preceding ad plays just fine but when the ad is over, the weather video portion hangs or never starts at all. App is now becoming more trouble than it's worth.
Had this app for years but for the last several months there have been more ads and its running very slow. It also glitches and you have to keep refreshing. I was waiting and hoping for an update to repair the constant glitches and other annoying issues. I am gonna uninstall the app and move on.
Weather reporting is okay but I will uninstall because of the addition of loud audio ads with no option to mute or close. While they only last 2 or 3 seconds, that's enough if you are checking the weather in a quite situation where you do not want to disturb others.
Says silent notifications never makes a sound even when when settings are set to notify and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling nothing works, but hey at least there is radar.
Have used this app for many years but lately it has gone down hill. Ads before videos play but when it come to the video NOTHING!
Completely stopped working will not uninstall so I can re-install!
Is there a paid version? Don't like sitting through video commercials when I am radar checking for a tornado. Please & thank you.

It was very great so for WNCT 9 First Alert Weather app I could keep up the temperatures in Roanoke Rapids along Halifax & Northampton Counties in Roanoke Rapids Micropolitan areas like Enfield, Halifax, Hobgood, Hollister, Littleton, Scotland Neck, Tillery, Weldon, Conway, Garysburg, Gaston, Henrico, Jackson, Margarettsville, Milwaukee, Murfreesboro, Pendleton, Pleasant Hill, Potecasi, Rich Square, Seaboard, Severn, & Woodland!

Love the new full page ads. Used to be a great weather app. Radars the best but to get to it you have to get rid of the new ad. So sad...$$$$$$$$$ the main thing. ):

Since downloading this app I've noticed several problems. Never notified me of my area being under a severe thunderstorm watch. Does notify me of areas being affected that aren't near me. Then yesterday, while sitting at home in Grifton, it continued to say I was in Kenansville, which is over an hour away. Needs fixing.
Very accurate info, when it finally populates. I had hoped for an update to the app that would make it more useful, but 1 year later and still nothing. Always takes >90 sec to load info, and sometimes it won't load anything at all and you're the fool staring at a blank temperature page for 8 minutes. Even the feedback link is broken, simply stuck on loading screen in an endless loop. Deleting app and going to alternate service. May reinstall if improvements are finally made sometime.
