This app is only designed to creat a snapshot of the current active and inactive faults. It also gives some current conditions like some temperature readings and battery voltage. It also give life time totals. The problem with this app is that it will not read all the faults from all the modules on the newer trucks, 2019 and newer. This is also true with pre 2016 model years. The EPA 2016 trucks does fairly good. Snap-on needs a app update to address these issues with new Firmware.
Was told some time back that they would be adding support for first gen usb link, this has not happen. It has been over a year so now i feel as if ive been liyed to, Very disapointing was think of upgrading my equiptment to EEHD184040 and the softwear and cables i need but now not sure. Wanted this for quick scans so i dont have to bring out the hole computer ever time.
Haven't been able to connect to the interface on any phone tried 7 different models it opens says searching for interface and force closes. I have a genuine usb-link 2 load of bs from a company like snapon should be renamed to snap off "overcharge you and fool you"
Many nondescript codes displayed, no "code clear" option to help rule out errors. Imo; too much $ for too little information & functionality in BT device. This is now November 2021, the link to catalog option in my app brings me to a 2019 catalog. So far, can't find a newer one.
Connect, it works but hardware is to expensive for the little information you get out of it, I mean for less money you can get code reading and clearing on cars but not here just a snapshot in specific time, NO REAL TIME INFORMATION. NO CLEAR CODES, AND THE ACTIVE /INACTIVE CODES HAVE NO USEFUL INFORMATION.
Love this app quick and easy goes over my phone it'd be cool if you could use all the options like you can with the laptop I don't know why you can't but it's pretty cool Bluetooth is right to your phone just plug it in
When selecting adapter, it briefly display searching for adapter then app closes. Will not allow selecting adapter. Tried uninstall and reinstall. No deal.
I had trouble getting it to load on my Android phone, but eventually, after a number of attempts, it finally loaded. Everything seems to work as advertised.
Worked great with Samsung Galaxy S7 but i got a new Samsung Galaxy S8 and it will not connect to nexiq usb-link2 adapter same everything just newer phone. What's the problem here snap~on?
Room for improvement. Needs the ability to clear codes and read real-time basic paremeters such as oil pressure and temp, coolant temp etc
Pretty useless, basically an expensive way to read blink codes.
Not really its fault, it is a navistar product it cant help but suck.
Connects and reads codes somewhat but no ability to clear fault codes.
Can't clear fault codes also their is no Test feature's available for technician
Just wished it would clear DTCs...

Free app ,reads Detroit Cummins and Maxxforce codes just fine.
This app was good for a bit, now it crashes everytime I try to use it. Will be returning my device and use a real program to read codes.
For the price of the hardware this app performance is terrible, I expected alot more.

Good app, it is quick to connect, easy to use. I like being able to send reports to customers via email. Makes troubleshooting easy. Would like to see ability to clear fault codes. At current it is read only. I have used on Android phone and Android tablet with Blue-link Mini and USB Link 2 adapters.
