So mad!!! This app just gets worse with every update! If you edit an electronic payment the paymants are being paid twice instead of just actually editing the original payment like it's suppsed to causing a negative balance and overdraft fees.....I think it's time to find a new bank!
Easy to use. Best feature in my opinion is the ability to sign up for text msg alerts every time my debit card is used. Sometimes I'm getting a msg alert before I even exit a store! Definitely a safety feature I appreciate!
Update: I've not had to uninstall and reinstall for many months! I think the bugs have been worked out! Very good app!!! I would give it 5 stars if I didn't have to uninstall and reinstall all the time to get it to recognize my credentials.
Are zero stars possible? Now the app can't even get itself off the blue home screen. I've updated the app, deleted and re-downloaded the app, restarted my device, and nothing. Utter garbage. This app "can't validate information" half the time, and customer service has banker's hours, so yet another glitch on say, Friday evening of a holiday weekend, won't be addressed until Tuesday. Edit 3/15/20: App still works only about 50% of the time. Edit 3/31/22: App still rarely works.
On the s21 ultra. I'm extremely disappointed!! PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!!!!!! *** UPDATE*** 4/21/2022 As of today when I checked, the app runs smoothly with decent speed. Happy, no ecstatic that it works now! All we need now are more features and fun little things to do!!
I just downloaded the upgraded version of my 1stMid Banking app and I got nothin!!! All I got isa white screen with nothin on it. What's goin on with this app.I do everything on this app.!!! Got an android phone and the app has always worked just fine.But the minute I hit upgrade the app to the newer version...all I got was a white screen with nuttin on it.
Not working since the new update. Just a white screen. It was always the slowest app to begin with, but this is unacceptable.
Had this app for years now it wont open. Called the bank and they said there has been an update and my phone may not support it. Im so upset and if this isn't fixed I will be going elsewhere.
The app is not allowing me to log in. I'm a US Bank customer as well and their app is far far superior than this one. They don't get the app running properly I'm going to pull my money back out of this bank and put it back into US Bank.
The app does not open. Kust a white screen. You told me three days ago and update would be out and still not out and app not fixed. Do you hate Android phones? Do something. I need a working app. Please make it soon.
Whenever I tried to login it says that it's unable to validate my information. Even when I use fingerprint recognition it doesn't work
Ever since I upgraded to the new galaxy s22 ultra I have been unable to use this app. After March 16th update it won't work on my tablet either.
Have had this app since they released it and have always had the same issues. IF I am able to even log on to it it is slow!!! I had to wait 40 minutes for an internal transfer that didn't end up going through. It is okay but I can go to their website and check everything I can on the app and not have the issues the app does. Need a major revamp to work out the loading issues. If people can't use the app there is no point in having it.
I am having the same issues. Updated and just have a white screen now. This sucks and I hope it gets fixed soon!!
This app is horrible! 80% of the time you try to log in or just use the insta balance it gives you an error message. That makes me very anxious when I can't log into my banking! It also makes me wonder how accurate the accounting technology is. I also hate the lag time $ is posted to the account when using bill pay. It's like I'm back to writing paper checks again. This all makes me want to switch banks!
It's a good app, when it works. Most of the time it crashes or is down. Most of the time trying to log in will get you the "Unexpected Error" message and if you're really lucky it will lock you out of your account and you have to call to get it unlocked again. Hopefully someone is reading these and their developer is working on the crashing and /or not even opening problem.
I've had the app on my previous phones with minimal issues. Although when I upgraded my phone to a much higher quality phone I've tried to download it as before but I'm not able to open the app at all. So now I have to access my account online instead which is very inconvenient & extremely disappointing to say the least.
Does not seem to be compatible with Android 12. I've used the app almost daily without issue since it was released. Updated my Android system to Android 12 a week ago, since then the app will not load on my phone. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times with the same results. Very disappointed.
Ever since I installed the latest update around 8/27-30/21 I can't login anymore. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled but no change. I called support and she was able to login on her phone and her manager was able to login on his phone. They were not aware of any problems. I don't know if they installed the new update. I tried 2 phones and a tablet and still no login. I tried my daughters phone and it worked fine, she hasn't installed the new update.🤔🤔🤔 When are they going to fix this?????

It's not letting me even log on now. Saying its detecting click operations with this app. I always have to out in my info it's never had a click operation. Cleared memory, cache. Didn't fix it. Had to delete and reinstall and still doesn't let me log in. I don't have a computer I use a phone. Makes me want to close our account to have a working online banking experience.
I was forced to switch from providence bank to first mid (gotta add too the timing of the switch? A weekend. Before taxMonday. Really poor decision there...) the layout and design of providence's banking app was very user friendly and was extremely easy to use as well as see all your accounts right away. I dont like how I have to click through multiple pages now just to see my main checking account. The layout and functionality of this app should really be rethought out.
Works half of the time. Invalidate information or cant log in. Good to see your instant balances. Hope they will work the bugs out of it soon! Update 3/23/22...has been working ok until about a month ago. Now it does not work with my phone. Uninstall and install repeatly didnt work. This app SUCKS!!
My app Is usually great but now it's suddenly not working! I took it to my carrier and they made sure everything was set up like it's supposed to be and updated. We tried uninistalling and reinstalling but it's still not working. Can someone please contact or fix this bug?
Crashes on samsung fold 3 with March 16th update.
This app does not work on my phone at all. Moto g pure. Newest Android version. I have an old phone that is busted up and barely works with Android 10 and the app seems to work on that phone just fine. Please update your app to work with new Android version
Ever since the last update sll this app does is crash and force close. It won't open up at all. This is very distressing to me. I have a Samsung Galaxy AO2s. I am hoping this issue is resolved soon. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it several times now and nothing, the same bad issue everytime.
Most the time, I have no issues with this app. However, I have been starting to experience quite a few issues when I go to log in. Right now, I simply just cannot login. Plus I used to never have to put in my user ID and now I am having to. I dont get it. Why is this happening with certain update releases? I need to be able to check my account without having to go to the bank or ATM.
When items come in they asap come off balance so you know how much you have. But lately like the past 3 months when walmart comes out and is minus off of balance in appx 2-3 days it disappears ( you don't know it) & the amt is added back into balance. Then in about 4 days later or more it appears back on your ledger and is subtracted from balance again and can put you in the negative making you owe $32 in over-drawn fees. Its not right! Someone needs to fix this issue.
