Clean and easy to navigate user interface. Comprehensive account access controls. Allows flexible account notification settings. First Savings has repeatedly responded quickly and friendly to any account issues and questions that I have had to date. I would highly recommend this bank to all... especially those persons who are wanting/needing to re-build or strengthen their personal credit rating.
One really BIG problem. This card takes an extremely long time to update available credit. It's been over a week and I'm still waiting. Here I thought having cards that took 3-4 days were bad. Capital One is still the best Credit Card ever, First Savings has a ton of catching up to do. As for the ease of use of the app, no major issues, layout is slightly off but overall not a bad app. Updates to follow should FSCC ever fix being slow.
Very easy to use. Can see your purchases as soon as made to see how much credit you have available. You can set up payments for a later date to keep your utilization rate low. Very easy to get credit limit increases.Pretty much like clock work after a few months of on time payments. Always send me a notice letting me know I qualify for increase. I've never had to contact customer service and ask for an increase. Customer service is easy to reach & fix issues very promptly, if the need arises.
Probably going to cancel... I just got this card but when you log in online Or the app. It askes for a email verification and never actually sends a email. I've tried 6 times and never got a email. update: I got all the emails 12 hours later...... I tried. Again took 4 tries. Finally got the email within 5 min of asking. Thank God I don't have to verify again....
OMG this app is TERRIBLE! When it's not CRASHING, it's either dropping your routing/account number (so you have to look it up and re-enter it) or it's not letting you make more than one payment per month. It's like they don't want your money until they can charge you a late fee!
Their app is horrible. It makes no sense to have an app that you can't even login to. All it does is keep having you enter your paasword yet when you get the Verification Code sent by email you can't even enter the code because every time you open your email then go back to the app it tells you the code is invalid. After these issues with the app i don't want to deal with them or their stupid non-working app.
Beware. This company can be slippery. I made a big payment ro bring my balance to zero and they never brought the available balance to zero. When I call them, they said that they needed to confirm the bank account that I paid from. Keep in mind that this wasn't my first payment from this account. They like to play games. You have been warned!
It works as advertised. The things i appreciate the most are it displays how much credit available and it remembers your crutial payment information. Oh and i can use my fingerprint instead of having to type in a long password (yes my passwords are long and complex yours should be too).
Update- I absolutely hate this app and am going to pay off my balance and cancel my account. Its the most ridiculous thing that I cant auto save my password or use Samsung smartpass. I spend most my time having to unlock my account. If yall are too cheap to make a good app, youre too cheap for my business. Plenty of other options out there that have a functional business. Don't waste your time with this company
I got it all set up or so I thought. I tried to sign in it said username and/or password is wrong. I tried to say I forgot them it told me I needed to verify thru security checks and it won't give me options to verify anything. Just a blanket page telling me to select how I want to proceed. So annoying.
App is very useful, great bank, but wish they had debit card payment option to pay balances. Oh yeah 1 other thing, it does take a long time to update your available balance.
Tried to use app to make payment. Got repeatedly the same error message plus kept getting error messages when trying to pay online. Hope doesn't cost me extra fees because is impossible to pay! Kind of ridiculous.
Clunky app with a lot of problems and very few functions. I end up having to change my password every time I use it and no support for bio security.
Great app! The app is simple and easy to use. It's great being able to make a payment or to check your balance on your phone instead of getting on a computer. Thank you!
I have no issues at all with the actual workings of the app. I am able to make payments and see my balance but the only thing I wish for is a fingerprint login option. Almost every app offers it nowadays. That's my only complaint.
I just got this credit card and downloaded the app from the store. The first time I ever opened this app, RIGHT after installing it, the app is telling me that I'm not using the latest version. How is this possible, I JUST downloaded it! Not a great start guys ...
If you lose your card and call their customer service you cannot speak to anyone without the last 4 of your card? No way to contact anyone thru the app either? But I'm going to fight to get another for a company that cares this much? Didn't realize it was expired and looked a fool, lost it later that day. EVERY other card company I deal with sends it automatic.
Three times I tried to schedule a payment for tomorrow, the 27th. The first two times I got an error saying it was after 5pm CT choose another date. It's the 26th so what does the time today have to do with the payment for tomorrow? On the third attempt, the same information, it took the payment.
Good App. Wish they would allow for debit and credit card payments instead of just banking acct.
I downloaded the app. Entered all my info including the card number, secret 3 digits, last 4 of my social. The app made me verify my email address so I did that too. It said verified then it made me choose to verify through email a second time. It never sent a second verification code and locked me out. After entering 4 key pieces of secret info I still didn't get access into my account. Now I have to call them tomorrow to find out the problem. What a pain. I didn't even make a mistake.
I'm very pleased with my First Savings Credit card. I'm 61 and sometimes I have trouble navigating some of my other accounts. But the First Savings Credit card app is easy to use & understand. Yes I definitely recommend F.S.C.C.
Trying to use my card and it keeps declining payment. My acct say balance is low, but nothing has been charged yet.
Terrible - tried to make a payment on the due date 3 times & kept telling me that an error had occured. Tried again at 10:30 pm when I got off work & it posted for the next day - making it a day late & charging a late charge. Paying this POS off as soon as possible!!
Very helpful and easy to use. Payments are easily processed in an efficient manner. This app is user friendly and if you have the card there's simply no reason not to have it.
Says I have auto payment set up. Still had to come in and manually make a payment. It was supposed to pay on my due date and it didn't. I waited a few days but, nothing.
No problems as of yet. Things were made easy for me to get done quickly. Not much to say yet because not anything has messed up on me. There's always a option when you go in to make a payment for automatic withdrawal I don't use that feature. Some like that I don't. I pay at different times before my due date. So you do not have to chose that option you can get past that and just make your regular payment before due date at your convenience.👍
