The last update to the waitlist feature made it useless. It used to give a rough estimate of when to arrive, and now I just get "1-2 hours". That's too wide a time frame to make it easy. I miss pre-pandemic when it would even show how many people were in line ahead of you. The waitlist keeps going downhill and makes being a weekly regular very hard.

First Watch is an amazing restaurant with some of the best breakfast I've ever had -- their app, however, needs some work. For some reason the app runs in full screen, preventing access to the back/home buttons and occasionally getting you stuck in some weird states with the keyboard. Being able to save a spot in line is a good feature, but otherwise the app is just a menu. It would be great to have a rewards program or coupons as well to make it worthwhile.

Not only does the app display in full screen, so you don't have access to the system back button or status bar or keyboard hide button, but it waits until the *very absolute end* of the ordering process to tell you that the restaurant can't handle your order, which is pretty much the case all the time it seems. Haven't been able to successfully order food from this app

Ordered at the wrong store, but there was no way to cancel my order on the app. When I called to cancel after I realized my mistake, I was told they couldn't cancel and would have to call corporate office. So I go back to the app, choose the correct store, double check the correct store is listed before ordering, and the app *still* sends the order to the wrong store! Hopefully developers can fix this bug and more importantly, allow stores to cancel orders, that part is ridiculous!

I wish you wouldn't remove the native menu options. I don't see what removing them adds. It doesn't make the app look better, and it just makes things inconvenient.every phone user is used to having them in every other app. Other than that, I've done a few pick up orders, and everything was pretty smooth.

The design of the app is cute but aside from that, this app is a glorified menu. I can add items to my order and get as far as entering my card info when it starts to bug out and won't let me enter certain fields. When I was finally able to enter info to the missing field, I tried going "next" and the screen froze. So idk if I've been charged and its just not showing up yet or if the restaurant got it either. So I end up having to call the place and order anyways 😒

Great updates over the old version. It is a nice simple interface. I love that you can get in line before you arrive and that it gives you an order online ability. Seeing the current wait times is great because the restaurants are packed because they are so good! I will definitely add this to my favorite list of apps to use.

The restaurant is wonderful but the app isn't. Previous versions of the app fairly accurately estimated wait times, but it no longer does. Previous version. Also let you see how many people were in front of you when you arrived, but you no longer can do that. Previous version saved your name and phone number so that you have to input it every time you go to the restaurant with the new version doesn't.

It breaks my heart that the app doesn't allow tipping! We used to go to First Watch every Sunday, and now we try to order every weekend too! The last three weeks, the app won't let us tip! Please fix it and send it out some emails to let us know when it's fixed. Gotta take care of my favorite restaurant peeps ❤️

The first watch app has no way to notify when an order is incorrect. Door dash, WIC is who the app uses for delivery, has a rating option whose detail web page fails to open it load. This breaks the user experience when something doesn't go completely right with an order.

The app works fine, the issue is with the online check in process. When I checked in, it gave me a specific 5 min window of when our seat would be available. When I arrived (1 min before my window started), they advised me it would be an additional 25 min. I'd rather they not offer an advanced check in option if it's meaningless.

Love the restaurant, app needs some work. At least they fixed the initial version that wouldn't even give you a wait preview before getting in line. Two main gripes that still need addressing: 1) No apps besides games and movie/tv players should ever go full screen and require swiping to get the home button to appear. 2) Keeps saving my phone # with no dashes and complains until I put the dashes back in that I have an invalid phone #. UPDATE: #2 fixed, upping to 4 stars

TERRIBLE APP NO WAY TO CLOSE IT. It displays in full screen on your phone but that covers all of the button in the tray like the back button. Once opened, the only way to close it is to restart your phone.

Checking in on the App is completely useless. when I put our name in, it said 18-23min wait. When I arrived at the restaurant 15min later, they said it would be an additional 20-25min wait. Maybe it's just the Cherry Hill, NJ location, but it seems like an issue with how they use the app, because everyone waiting there that had used the app was having the same problem.

Very nice waitress Camille was excellent with explanations on menu items and her friendly service. The biscuits and chicken gravy was to peppery and potatoes were not quite done. Other then that it was a great experience.

App only takes reservations if the restaurant has "turned it on". Otherwise, you may end up waiting 20 min for a table when the app says 0 min wait. Poor design, and easy to fix. Keep reservation system open all the time, add expirations to them and ability to cancel. Come on, it's 2020

Does not work, gives error code 504 constantly then 500 when I do the final tap to put in line. Calling the store was not helpful, all they said was there is nothing wrong with the app and it's your phone... Then how come I uninstalled it 3 times and then tried it on another phone and had same issues. They wouldn't let me get in line when I called.

First versions of the app were okay but after this last update (adding pictures and updated items to menu!) the app is so much more navigable and easy to use! I personally love when you get the pictures and boy does it make their food look good! AND IT TASTES GOOD!

The app shows the menu, which by the way is good. However, my rating for the app is three (3) stars (☆) because it has no way for us to order online. I just had to place my online order at the webpage instead, and my rating will go up the moment the app enables online orders, period.

App does not work. Every location always says "We can seat you now." including the location we just went to where the line was literally out the door. Tried on two phones, has persisted for months. Useless in it's current state.

The app is more cute than functional. The menu is what happens when someone makes an app their artwork instead of building a useful tool for their customers. Somewhere on a yacht an ad agency is giving themselves a trophy for this masterpiece.

Easy to navigate but why doesn't the app tell you when your order is ready for pick up. You think your order is ready after waiting about 15 minutes, go to restaurant and end up standing there waiting 10-15 minutes because it's not ready yet. That's rather annoying. All other restaurant app can tell you that why not this one?

There is a terrible disconnect between app & reality. We used the "get in line" feature of the app. I called around 10:30 and received a window to arrive (very limited detail or explanation). The window was 12:15-1:15 to check-in. We arrived at 12:05. We checked-in and were given an approximate wait time of 30 minutes. After 45 minutes, they said maybe 10 more minutes. After an hour, they said we were still 6th in line. Why have an app "get in line" feature, if the window of time is a lie

Today we used this app to check on a table and get in line. It said there was not a wait, so we couldn't get in line. Checked once more about a minute before arriving, still no wait. When we arrived, there was a wait! The host told us they had only been on a wait for a short time (10-15 minutes), but I guess the app wasn't able to process that. This had happened to us before with this app, so we will just take our chances and not be frustrated by the app in the future. Deleting it.

This app is not useful for people on a schedule. It should have an option to select what time you want to be in line. When you get in line as early as possible using the app, because you have to wait so long if you're a walk-in, when they contact you via text, by the time you get there you have lost your spot.

The food is great the app not so much. The check-in is worthless when you still have to wait once ya get there. Just makes life frustrating when the time could have easily been given over the phone.

As others have stated, the only useful feature is the menu. I log in, build my order, and try to use a coupon code, but it tells me I need to be logged in. So I log out, then log back in and try again... Still nothing. I'm deleting this, I can see the menu just fine on the website.

The app is not accessible with Talkback screen reader. Also, it blocks my home key where I can't exit out of the app. I have to restart my phone in order to exit out of the app.

By far one of my favorite places to eat but I can't even enjoy it anymore not only does there early check in not work in at the restaurant anymore with the app but this buggy app won't even accept online orders about 70 percent of the time

Usually love this app when getting to-go order, but there is a glitch today (2-5-22) with error messages asking me to verify what is in my cart, etc... And even removed item..rebooted, same thing happens. Maybe there is a glitch with the app today? Please look into it. Thanks!
