I have been using this app for years and had no issues up until last month. I keep getting an error message whenever I try to login. I first used my fingerprint and then tried to manually enter my info. I got a different error message for both. I even reinstalled the app but nothing worked, which is sad because I really like the app. **** edit** I contacted the developer and got an out of office response with absolutely no follow up.
I love Firstlight and this app but the widget for android phone needs to get fixed. It doesn't display anything and always says, "It appears your device is not connect to internet. Please connect and try again". I'm am connected and when I hit the refresh button nothing happens. It used to work great.
Ive been banking with firstlight for almost a year. This is a great bank but their app suuuuuucks!!! Never have I ever had so many issues trying to use an app before! Its always an application error. Now if I put in my username wrong it locks me out for 24hrs! On the first try! I am really starting to think of switching banks because of this
I honestly have to say that I am impressed with this bank and even more with this app. You have all of your basic banking application functionality's and my favorite, electronic fund transfering. You have the ability to transfer funds from internal accounts and also external account in other banking institutions. This makes the app the most efficient and versatile app in the play store. This app makes my life easier and more productive.
This has been the most painful app to set up. have not been able to log in. when asking to change the credentials again, it doesn't even tell me what it needs! Just a blank space?! calling for support also takes more time than able to do during a work day. probably uninstalling
The app makes online banking very very convenient. It's fast, simple, easy to use, especially when i'm depositing my check with my phone through the app! How great is that?! No more waiting in those long lines!
App is always down takes hours for them to resolve the issues and to have the app running back up again. Can not check balances and I'm using my card if I wanted to transfer in order to avoid overdraft fees and fees for transferring I cant because app doesnt work.
Usually works 100% of the time. Extremely convenient and well laid out in that you can access and manage all of your account activities. I would certainly recommend this application to all FLFCU members! This App has continuously evolved into a "finely tuned" financial tool that is absolutely easy for me/members to use.
only properly works a quarter of the time. a ton of info is required to be included when theres no space for it in on the back of the check. I've had to retake the pictures no less than 6 times every time I want to deposit because it cant read the required "for mobile deposit only, first light federal credit union"
Super easy for checking my balance and transferring money to/from my checking and savings account. I wish there were more allowed transfers, but other than that it's great!
the fingure print scan works when it wants too, potentionally locking you out of your account. My phone is new and the fingure print works on all my other apps but the firstlight malfunctions 90% of the time, this app and credit union are both terrible
Little picky on the photos but that makes sense considering the legal liability. Very convenient, especially when you moved to another state.
Unauthorized signature! CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS! During March of 2020, during full lockdown, when everything was closed, everyone was staying home. First light electronically signed my name to put me on an overdraft protection plan WITHOUT MY CONSENT- causing me to receive 3 overdraft fees. If they would have left it off, my card would have just been denied with no fee. The lady who did it..."no longer works at this branch" and "there is nothing we can do cuz you electronically signed it" wasn't me
Virtual check deposit function is denied upon review. Took perfectly clear pic of endorsed check with acct # & the mensa at Kenworthy denied it. * Also app is very glitchy...always says unable to provide info...blah blah. Even when updated & current. App constantly is unable to open...even after turning off /on phone & uninstall/ reinstall. 1/2 the time it dosnt work...says unable to show info at this time👎
All of a sudden having problems sending check. Sunday it said amount to high and I tried it twice. Today it said mobile deposit needed to be on the back. The check is only for 100.00 dollars and all the correct info was on the back.
The app keeps getting better over time but you sometimes have to hunt stuff through a bad menu. The menu to find what you need could be better
GREAT. Easy to use Convient n safe as has been for over 30 years. Few problems I've had were quickly resolved. The staff are always very knowledgeable n helpful with a very friendly attitude.
So convenient. Access to my account no matter where I am. I have been using this app for years and have not encountered any "issues". Thank you FLFCU
Been using four a few months very impressed. Haven't had to go to the bank in person in a while . Really nice to have during the pandemic.
Never have an issue, if there was a problem with the app, it would like be due to them fix bugs. But overall 5 stars
Great app so easy to navigate thru. FIRST Light bg is an amazing bank. Always ready to help when you need them, customer service is Amazing. The receptionist in the front is so sweet, and cheerful she is the best.
App is not working keeps giving me an error for two weeks and continues to. Removed the app and reinstall, to see if that would help. Nope still not working.
Easy for me to transfer money to different accounts with FL. A little confusing when it asks which account, checking or savings, you need to enter confusing numbers.
The app is constantly down. You get messages stating the app is unavailable nearly daily. Pretty disappointing FLFCU can't invest in a stable platform.
the app doesnt keep updates as fast as gecu app. sometimes it crashes and there has been several times where it says no accounts available due to first lights un professionalism
Love my FLFCU app...I can quickly check both my Saving and Checkings accounts, transfer money to other FLFCU memebrs within seconds and the best part, I can deposit my checks! Avoiding long lines and waiting at the bank. Makes life so much easier 👌
first light mobile banking is nice and easy to use. every convenient for depositing checks and checking bank account. highly recommend it thank you.
Just started banking here. So far the app is easy to use, like that. People at the bank are wonderful, very helpful, love that. However, the bank will show amounts totally different than what I can see on the app. They don't seem to be synced together, don't like that...at all. Twice there has been a bounced check charge when my account wasn't overdrawn. And there are some fees I don't quite understand yet but hope to in the near future. I will wait to see how plays out before a better rating.
