The option order page is horrendous. I cannot refresh the price on the order page. Always had to resort to going 1 step back to refresh the page for all strikes. I am either late for the move, or got a horrendous fill since I am flying blind on the order page. If I choose trade option, I just can't do sell to close or buy to close. Always had to go back to my holdings page. Overall it is horrendous for intraday trade and scalping.

I like Firstrade. But the mobile app is buggy, difficult to use and lacks features. Many of the shortcomings seem easy to solve. Like a link to sign in using biometrics from the regular login page. So it appears nobody is paying much attention to the app. Update: They modified the app and made it WORSE. Now you can't see how the markets are trending.

Since the April 2022 version update, the app does not launch on my phone returning the message: "Unfortunately, Firstrade has stopped". I have Android 10. Firstrade technical support and app development are highly skilled at producing a user unfriendly, slow, bug filled app which keeps crashing or doesn't even launch with a layout from hell. Firstrade client service policy is deny any failures - blame the client. Firstrade management is a disgrace. Do yourself a favour. Avoid Firstrade.

cant sort by price anymore the button was removed just says price without the sort function all columns should be adjustable with a sort function not sure why it was removed i didnt have a chance to check the other columns and I had the newest update but was forced to downgrade to previous update to have a fully working app

The experience with tablets it's trash You can't visualize all the things in the screen you also can't use it in landscape mode Need to fix those issues now to simply use the app

Got the app but couldn't even explore any stocks/cryptos. Both kept freezing when trying to click on them...

They are slow with deposit and do not give a deposit credit so you can trade. It took over 34 hours and they said they had my money but no buying power credit to trade is shown. This the only one I have had trouble with 😒

Very easy to transfer money into the account. Very difficult to remove money. Customer service has been appalling.

The app is unfortunately very buggy. It constantly force-closes when trying to pull up stock details. This can make trading nigh impossible.

I like Firstrade a lot but this app lags way too much. I am a Daytrader and I need to see my realized/unrealized gains in real time. Even with the stocks are going up and down I need that in real time not on a lag. I use ETrade to help with that and keep Firstrade for execution of my trades. But please if you all can update you all information with trading and fix the lagging.

App is outright bad compared to web version. Some web functions not exist on the app. Order preview calculated the cost before you done any edit, this is critical and the bug already existed for long time. New update gets rid of DOW, S&P500, and NASDAQ indexes on the header, also "timer to market open/close". Why did you do this?

Comment on current design: Font size is bit of larger than previous that display less information. Will be better if users can adjust. Hope can display 3 index (DOW, sp500, nasdaq) in position page.

This app is the ultimate trading platform to teach you first hand how not to lose money in the market. First rule of learning to trade should be with small deposits to limit your losses as losses is what you will have until you become fully educated.

Every thing about this app screams trash I've been trying to get an account approved for like 4 weeks now customer service is trash the whole brokerage screams last choice from the jump. Clearly ...

The app is not tablet friendly. Please support larger display better.

Very easy to mistype an option order. First of all you can't add an option contract to watchlist, so you have to go through 3 or 4 clicks to arrive at the specific contract each time (and sometimes mis-click) . And then it's really easy to forget to switch to sell side. In this app "BUY" IS SELECTED BY DEFAULT for option orders!!! I have used other trading apps, and they make the buy/sell as the button you have to click to enter an order. It's much better to NOT have a default for buy/sell.

My main concern with the app is that it frequently freezes and I have to log off and log back in to keep using it. Other issues include the inability to trade stock or options or see news, reviews, etc. when not specifically touching the time series plot. It would be nice to have all features when selecting stock symbol. Also, lack of broad or tailored financial news. I often have to go to other sites to find out why the market is down.

So far, the trading is fast, but that is if the app opens. Currently, it keeps saying I have no internet, but I am at home with a full strength WiFi and all my other apps recognize the signal. Its really frustrating when you can't trade and want to on your phone. I even restarted the app multiple times, even Un-installed and re-installed. Still no luck. Come on First Trade.

They took a basic legible app and made it an illegible mess. Used to be able to clearly see how much a stock was up or down. Now they crammed a chart into the line that forces the rest of the print to be smaller. The only improvement is you can now transfer money through the app. That could have been done without making a mess i have to scroll through

Not great. App does not allow me to make a deposit, even with a linked account. There is no tutorial on depositing funds, only account linking. As a result, cannot receive the free stock incentive for 1st deposit (deadline was new years). There is a very long turnaround on incentives. Incentives aside, I found the app to be lackluster with minimal features, lack of additional market data, etc. UI feels very dated and bland. There are significantly better options for app based trading.

1) The tickers are arranged by alphabetical order and you can't sort them the way you want to. 2) The chart doesn't support vertical mode and the landscape mode/view is not convenient for quick review of charts. Webull and Tdameritrade have great design/layouts. Other than that it is a good trading app especially if you are a long term investor.

Aftre upgrade, session would expire immediately whenI switch to trade tab, realy bad experience.

TERRIBLE APP. Easy to put money in impossible to take money out. Switched bank accounts sent all of the information they requested it still hasn't been approved. Requested a check instead it got rejected because I have a banking profile on my account that doesn't work! Called multiple times emailed multiple times and its just a run around. Once I get my money I'll never use them again. I'll make sure I suggest to everybody that I know that's looking to get into trading to stay away from this platform.

Asks me to re-login again and again when reviewing the order status. Really bothers me. Could you fix it asap?

Prices are not updated consistently and uniformly. The price of a stock under "positions" is often out of sync with the quote you get by clicking on the stock itself. Cannot place or edit (not even cancel!) conditional orders. What happened to advanced charting??? Rotating the display, nothing happens. Disappointed
