It took me forever, to renew my 2 year disability license. Very confusing, and I almost gave up on trying to renew. I called local tax office, and sat on hold for half an hour. No help there. And when I needed to upload doctor Social Security, the upload function on the app, wouldn't work. Finally, after almost an hour, I was able to successfully complete.
Still USELESS. Uninstalled. Bought the hardcopy license from Academy Sports. Talked to customer support. Verified Android version on my phone. Went home and installed the app again as directed by Customer Support, using wi-fi. Still does not work and freezes every other screen. The only thing it is good for, is keeping the electronic version of the license. May have to upgrade the phone to use this app.
I tried to purchase a license as a non-resident for a trip in the not too distance future but at the end of the form it asked me for a US mailing address (???). I thought that the whole purpose of the app was to have the license digitally and in my phone. What exactly has to be mailed? Very frustrating.
App seems like it was developed and maintained by a 12 year old. No fixes,just "sorry to hear you had issues." Never a fix.
UNUSABLE! Immediately crashes when opened. Galaxy S7 Updated as far as possible. Cleared cache. Good memory. Multiple uninstalls and reinstalls. Plain and simple...Doesn't Work!
Having a real hard time using this app. Everytime it launches it forces into landscape mode and won't scroll got me to see the whole screen. It may be a pretty good app but I can't use the features in this condition.
auto fills ssn with my driver liscene number Then grays out the box so you're unable to edit it. Great. Found a section to update your personal info great! I thought that would work so I filled out all of the information all over again and about half way through the app crashed and I lost it all It crashed 3 times on that screen Also the box to type in your birthday is a calender when clicked shows today's date and you have to cycle back month by month until your birth year NOTHING WORKED THANKS
Horrible app. Trying to purchase license and can only get non resident options. Have been Florida resident since 2020.Tried updating profile,sync, etc. Previously purchased license no problem. Next option waste more time and call someone. No thanks.
No option to purchase the FL resident licenses.... what's the point?!! Pointless app unless you're trying to rip people off that don't know the pricing. Guess I'll go to good ol Walmart to get my fishing license.
Terrible, I've not once been able to access my license document through this site. I would rate zero stars if that was an option. Come on FWC. Why does this function so poorly? April 19, 2022- Thank you FWC for your prompt resolution to my difficulties accessing my license document. Respect.
Every time I open the app it basically closes the app or better yet known as crashes. So I can't even actually use the app so what's the point to having an app you can't even use.
This App is a real pain in the neck. I cannot create my account and scrolling down reviews from other users i am not the only person with this issue. Instead to copy/paste a message and waist my time calling a phone number why don't you fix a known problem from your end???
App crashes when opening. I've installed several versions APKs and no luck.
Used to work. Says my SSN is already registered, but trying to log in tells me it isn't and I need to make an account. Can't make an account because I'm already registered.
Terrible. Wants to charge me for non-resident licenses. I have a valid driver's license and address. The app won't let me re-enter my info. Most of it is grayed out and won't let me change it.
Not user friendly!.If I want to create an account why does it make me look up my account and when it doesn't find my account, then it takes me to where I can select "create new account "..that's what I selected the first time, I know if I have an account or not, I just move here! Then while filling out info it doesn't tell you you need dashes in the driver's license box, then it says my ss# is invalid, I didn't have trouble getting my drivers license and buying a house in florida with my ss#!
Being an out of stater, having the app saved me precious fishing time by not having to drive around to find a licensing merchant. I was on the beach fishing in 3 minutes, LEGALLY!
Can't see my license. Just got a new phone had to download the app again. Uploaded all my info but can't see my license?
Imbedded pdf with limited ability to zoom in or interact with static fishing regulation chart. Paper magazine is better than this app.
Was a great app and I quit using a paper license then last time I went out and needed to show it to an officer it would not met me pull the app up or open it even deleted the app and reinstalled it same thing so wish they would fix this app and get it back working
Terrible. Unable to purchase license online. Crazy because my local tackle shop(half-hitch) is unable to sell me a license as well. Mine expired in January and have tried numerous times to purchase online. Will not allow me to enter CC number, just expiation date and no cvv number. Crazy
So frustrating! Use to work just fine loading my license. Randomly one day it stops working. Can't get it to reload, some error message. Finally call in about it, sit on hold for the WORST static waiting music. Tech support just keeps telling me to reinstall the app, which I've already done twice. Then asks what kind of phone I have, after I tell him magically there have been issues this particular phone (Samsung Note10). Horrible. But expected from the state.
I love this app; at least when it works... For the past few weeks the app opens then when I select a function like "my licenses" or the "saltwater fishing guide" I get a message of : Unfortunately, Fish/Hunt FL has stopped. I have even tried uninstalling then re-installing the app; still does not work. Interestingly enough I can access some functions; "sunrise/sunset works and I can use the boat ramp map, nothing else! What gives? Finally received a message from "FWC Developer" asking me to call. their generic 888 number. This number is for licensing services. After speaking to someone on extension 6 I was unable to get help... Governmental customer service at its finest!
Still unable to sync my license... been at least 3 updates promising that sync was addressed. Not sure who is responsible for making this app work, but should probably go back to app school. Worked for me in Nov '20, look back to then & see what you've changed. Could be an awesome app, if only it worked for all!!!
For the past two years I can't check out on the app or online, items are in my cart I input my credit card info and I click "pay now" and nothing happens, I click again nothing happens, it's terrible. I guess now I need to go drive, find a store that sells licenses, and do it the old fashioned way. Yes my andriod and computer are both up to date, tried to uninstall and reinstall the app, clear cache, etc. Smh.
