Fisher-Price® Smart Connect™

A very basic app with limited features to help parents and kids. The fact you can schedule a length of time for it to automatically shut off the lights and sounds is nice but blunt. It's all or nothing. Sometimes I just want to shut off one set of the 3 light options for my device but that is not an option. It would also be nice to have the ability to schedule lights or sounds on as wake up cues, like a grow clock but again not a feature. It works, but like a minimum wage employee, it gets by.

The app glitches and will switch modes in the middle of the night while my infant is sleeping and wake her up. It will turn from white noise to music with lights. It also disconnects randomly throughout the day. I have tried uninstalling the app and downloading again, unplugging, re-pairing the device, etc. I am very disappointed and will probably buy a different sound machine as this not only doesn't work, it is detrimental to my child's sleep. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Just got the Lumalou clock and we were so excited to use it. The app keeps stopping mid Bluetooth connection therefore making the purchase completely pointless. Cant set it up without the app. Very disappointing. Btw i did research prior comments once unable to sync and found this to be an issues others struggled with. Sat on the phone with customer service for half an hour going in circles with the rep. Still unresolved.

The app is nice to pick colors, sound, and volume control. It does take a few to "connect" when opening app, not sure why. The big reason behind 3 stars is there isn't a way to fully close the app unless you go and force stop the app in phone settings. Big issue is when you force stop it, it clears out the music, song, and volume settings I had playing. Makes the music loud and not what I had on, waking baby. This NEEDS fixed! If I don't force stop, app stays on, on my status bar (Samsung phone)

Lumalu so cool and great gadget. But the only problem is, there is no battery inside. When there is problem with electricity, it resets. You should connect again to see the correct time. And i use 24h option, but it always starts with 12h. App does not regocnize qny settings. After electricity cuts, app should connect to the product and save the settings again if there is noe rom memory inside

I mean, the way you can control the lamp and melodies from you phone is a smart idea...but I do miss the animations included with the on the go music. My son loves it and we have spent at least three years of beautiful moments staring at the ceiling of his bedroom. Something that I hate is the fact that when I choose the projection of only stars, there is a yellow beam that comes from the middle of the lamp and it is really uncomfortable to the eyes because it is too bright.

The app still has copious amounts of errors even after uninstal/update. Total & complete disappointment at the lack of care of app function. Looking for alternatives on the market. Nothing but grief& frustration after the "new and improved" app update. It disconnects from device causing me to have to re-pair frequently. At times won't connect even when I'm standing 6" from the device. The old version was spades better and I am VERY disappointed and dissatisfied with the "upgrade".

It would be better if I had more options for the sleep stages. I would like to be able to leave the projector light on and slowly fade the music inti nature sounds.

We have used only Fischer price crib mobiles for 5 kids now -- we upgraded to the smart one with child #4. It was awesome being able to turn on the crib mobile from our phone when it turned off. Well now with baby 5, it doesn't support it anymore :( super disappointing.

Would rate 0 stars if I could, fisher price has decided to disable app support for no reason, I will no longer be able to use the app to control the mobile I purchased. Keep this is mind in your decision to purchase Fisher Price products in the future, they can remove features at any time simply because they decide to.

The machine itself is great. Lots of settings to explore. The presets you can customise are nice as well. The app itself is very frustrating as it doesn't connect to the machine well. It can take up to 10 minutes to simply switch between modes, even when right beside the machine. It's also randomly added another machine that doesn't exist onto my app which can't be deleted. This app needs to be updated and fixed. With a better functioning app, I'd rate this 5 stars but it needs work.

Life changing but needs some improvement. The error rate is about 10% so I still count this as a highly recommended app, especially when paired with the Fisher Price Smart Connect Deluxe Soother. When it works, which is most of the time it's outstanding. I have had to uninstall and reinstall several times at random because it simply wouldn't connect. Even one time that didn't work and I had to wait for an update. I hope they work out the bugs because it really is an incredible tool!

The app is great, when it works. Since the latest update it had spotty connections to my sound machine, and now it won't connect at all anymore, with a popup saying "Oops, something went wrong." I've tried unplugging the device, restarting my phone, troubleshooting my bluetooth, but the issue is still there. The previous version was way better, and I never had problems connecting. 👎🏻

It is such a great idea but often doesn't work efficiently. Unfortunately I often have difficulty connecting to the device even when I'm standing next to the soother. There will be times I attempt to use the app to turn the soother on (while it's off) and the app won't connect saying the device is (in use). Each time I'm actually able to control the device, if I leave the room the device disconnects and won't allow me to reconnect and change any settings. I really wish it would work properly.

It's okay when it works, but half the time it refuses to connect. When it does connect the volume only has two settings; too low and too high. You either can't hear it or it's so loud my child can't sleep. Update: the latest update seems to have helped. I have not had to uninstall and reinstall to get it to connect, but I do still have to force stop it on occasion. I'm still not going to upgrade my score because I'm feeling petty.

I really like this sound machine and the app is pretty good. The main problem I have encountered is that it will randomly unpair in the app and I have to go through a process of repairing it. Sometimes it takes several tries to get it paired again. I also wish it could go louder simply for the white noise, which doesn't seem as loud as the songs.

Who is responsible for this app update? It is horrible and not functional. Why can't any controls be changed while the sleep changes are on? When my twins woke up I would just turn the stars on and they would fall back asleep. Now, if I try to do that the sleep stage turn off and the music comes on and all lights turn on. Even if you try to get back to your sleep sound you open a navigation bar that is slow to navigate. Also, the volume should be able to change during sleep stages. Same reasons.

Terrible. Worse than the original app, rarely works. When it does work, it randomly turns on music in the middle of the night and wakes up my child. Has not worked for the past week despite me uninstalling and re-installing it. Without the app, I cannot get it to go into night mode, I have to manually go in there and try to switch everything off to mimic the night time mode. Bottom line the app and the actual equipment are a pain and so not where's the money or the hassle.

App crashed on a regular basis. Recently it signed me out without warning, would not let me sign back in so I had to create a new account. Now the whole interface is different (much less user friendly) and no matter what I do I cannot customize the music settings. It will still play songs I have unselected. Very frustrating as certain songs wake my child up! Very unhappy with this "update".

Works really well. Love the fact that I don't need to go into my baby's room to turn it on, off or to change the settings. Like that it has two programmable modes, allowing for different setting for nap versus bed time. You can't just have the white noise on, but you can set the other modes to 5 minutes and turn it on during bath time if you don't want the lullabies. Only complaint would be the volume setting that really jump. A gradual volume scale would be nice rather than preset volumes

When it works it's great. But it always has connection issues so a lot of the time it's useless. If I have to manually go in the nursery and turn the noises or the mobile on what's the point of having bluetooth options? Plus having to force close the app and reopen it to try and connect is frustrating. I should have the option to try to reconnect. The timer option for the mobile/light show needs to be longer too.

Absolutely love the Deluxe Soother and the fact that we can control it from our phone, that's great! But I get frustrated so often because the app won't connect or takes forever to connect the soother to my phone (whether I'm standing next to it or next door). Also would love to be able adjust the preset stages, I find the music is too loud and thus cannot use the sleep stages function and have to tone down manually when I remember to do it, that's too bad.

This app just doesn't work. It's as simple as that. At least half the time it doesn't connect to the device without me having to restart my phone. It frequently freezes and I've had to uninstall and redownload it twice already after it completely stopped working. It is horribly made and it's ruined this Fisher Price product. I will never trust another Fisher Price product. It's a waste of money and a complete disaster.

The update has made the app useless. It worked ok beforehand, but since the update, it can't connect to my device, every time I try to update my child's name it crashes, and it has become utterly unusable. If it wasn't for the touch controls on the unit itself, I would have returned this. Bluetooth connectivity was my main reason for purchasing this over the competitors. Now I'm regretting it.

I like the idea of the sleep stages, but the way it is setup in the app is awful. Once you start it for the night, you cannot make any changes without having to exit the sleep stages. So if baby wakes up and I want to increase the sound of the white noise, I can't. Also, sometimes my presets for the sleep stages revert to the original settings and to make the changes you again have to exit the sleep stages. But you dont know it's the wrong sounds/colors/lights until you have started. So dumb.
