We are recent newlyweds who love to travel. But lets take it back to the beginning. We met in 2010 when we both started working at a gym. Tip started out as the fast, smooth-talking salesman, and Tarah was the cute but shy front desk girl who was transitioning into a personal trainer position. The relationship started off rocky as both of us graduated from rival colleges. Tarah from Oregon State University, with a degree in exercise sports science. Tip graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in business accounting. After several months of courting Tarah, Tip finally convinced her to go on a date with him. As you can imagine the rest is history. We are both still in the fitness industry dedicating our lives to helping guide others along their path to better fitness and overall health. You can say that fitness and health is our first love, seeing how it was what brought us together and what we do on an everyday day basis. We even workout together, pushing and motivating each other past our own limits. Our next love is also something that we discovered while being together and that is traveling. It all started with a simple road trip down to southern California for Tarah’s best friends wedding. Along the way we made several stops, the favorite for us both was Pismo beach California. If you have never been there, you’ll have to see it for yourself. From that moment on we both caught the traveling bug. After that trip the ball just kept rolling. A few months later we took a road trip up north to Seattle to catch a Mariners baseball game. Then, a few months after that we decided to see what it was like to fly together and headed to Sin City. After that we decided we needed to go somewhere further, so we hopped across the pond to Europe. Making trips to Spain and taking a pit stop in Paris, where Tip casually proposed to Tarah in front of the Eiffel tower (while the lights were flashing, there’s a video). When we returned home from that we decided to go to New York, a few months later. After New York, we had to start planning our wedding. After months of planning a local wedding we decided that just wasn’t for us. What better wedding to have than a destination wedding?!?! How about one in JAMAICA!!! However we weren’t satisfied with just having a wedding in Jamaica, we decided we needed to return to Tip’s home country of Laos and get married there also. While we were over there we decided to beach hop in the lovely beaches of Thailand. That was a trip of a lifetime. We are blessed to have traveled the places we have gone. But we are not done. People ask us how we can travel so much, and the answer is quite simple, we work to travel. It’s something that we live for. We work hard on our diet and in the weight room (albeit a little vain) so that we can look good in that bikini and swim trunks. The world is a big place and we want to see as much of it as possible, together.
