Pretty good overall. I've had the scale and app for almost 3 years and it's held up well. It weighs accurately and I've never had a connection issue. I have a real problem with the trend graph though, it doesn't scale the time axis appropriately. It needs to space the axis by date and not just spread the measurements equally. There's also a bug with the Android notification bar showing over the app so I can't hit any buttons at the top of the app.
Update: still no fix, muscle mass calculation was REMOVED, from the app, please bring back, issue is not scale, its calculated from other variables. Useless app without muscle mass Update: issue is NOT the scale. ITS THE APP!!!skeletal muscle is not showing in the app... please urgently rectify, the app has removed this variable, scale is fine Issue now is muscle variable missing, why was this taken out in update? The only reason I use the scale is for weight and muscle mass.
Pretty good app. Looks nice. Works well. Tells you lots of info. Can even set up different profiles for ppl. Wish it had a widget for my Samsung active watch. So I dont have to take my phone with me in bathroom. It also seems to be bout as accurate as my Dr's fancy scale. So thats good.
Unfortunately the top is cut off making it really hard to use the app. Looks like a UI issue that has gone unsolved for some reason.
I love that you get Biometrics readings and does graphs of my progress! You need to open the app and connect to Bluetooth for it to work. It sometimes doesn't recognize you properly. If you measure multiple times it has slightly different weight measurements but others are stable. The charging cable could be longer and it only has a USB port. It would have been nice that they included the adapter to plug it to the outlet (I just use the one from my phone). Otherwise, great for the price paid!
The latest app update does not read the data from the scale. It was working fine before the update. Update: for those who are frustrated as me. The issue is an unbelievably trivial bug. If you step on the scale with the left foot, you will get this issue. If you step on the scale with the right foot - it works. 🤦♀️ This is where we are with the software quality for consumer electronics in 2021.
Love the app and scale! Accurate, consistent measurements and easy to use.
Inexpensive and a very easy to set up. I feel the readings are pretty accurate. I have 4 people in the account and it is easy to switch users. I've taken 4 readings in a row and all were the same so I feel it is accurate and consistent, not anything like my old scale that would be a different reading each time.
I like having a scale that measures weight but also breaks down the body composition so well.
I really like this app. But it's a major issue that you can't change the storage to your SD card or saved to a server. I realize that you acknowledge that when you create an account. But that's really a low level program design that should be corrected so that people are encouraged to continue using your app. You could back end it by allowing a new phone to sync with the other programs that store it - FitBit, Google Fit, Samsung Health, etc.
The interface is pretty clunky but I figured it out eventually. This app apparently has no understanding of what dates are. Looking at how a stat has changed over time, it shows all the data points equally spaced, no matter how much time is between them! So if you look at "Week" it's the last 7 measurements, even if they were months apart. Choose Month and it's the last 30. There doesn't seem to be a way to scroll back in time. And who knows what's happening on the "year" view.
Functionally, the app is seamless. Set up is quick and results are given very quick. Results are questionable. Used athlete mode first, had very good lean BF numbers. Lots of variability day to day in most numbers. Changed to non athlete mode and numbers were drastically different. This shouldn't be the case, period. Calculations should be consistent across the board. As a Mech. engineer, I question the sensors, as well. For $20 I don't think we can expect the most accurate/powerful sensors.
Something went wrong in the last update. I now have to restart my phone every time for the Bluetooth to work properly with the scale. I have no other issues with my Bluetooth and it's only this scale. I tried all the suggested fixes per the app and manual. Every time there's some "anomaly" with the Bluetooth. Only a full restart of phone seems to help and that is inconvenient. I tried calling Customer Service and am awaiting a call back.
Love the scale and the app, syncing has worked perfectly so far. Only negative I've found so far: the graphs are plotted with the recorded date points distributed uniformly on the x axis, rather than the date. If you're irregular with measuring yourself, you get a distorted graph. I have to sync with fitbit and look at the graphs there to see trends over time.
This app easily connects to my scales via Bluetooth, every time (I do have a new phone). Gathers the data in about 3 seconds. Displays every result neatly on one screen. Shows me where each of the 16 measurements (muscle mass, visceral fat etc.) fall on a continuum. And graphs it. No ads. I'm not sure what people rating below 5* are expecting here.
If the scale pairs successfully, and the scale gives you a reading, then it's a nice product. But, you will spend 5 to 10 minutes fighting the app to connect to your scale, and once connected, the scale will read 8888 or 0.0 each time you step on it for another 5 minutes. Then it works, and it's great. But be prepared to be incredibly frustrated at a simple task like weighing yourself
The app and scale worked fine together at first but now won't sync so all the data captured is not accessible and it simply cannot be replicated. Customer service responded once with the standard 1 year warranty bs but that's not the issue. Went thru their steps and nothing changed. Having a record of the progress is critical. Even if the scale will only go back 20 weigh ins & sync that info it would be better than nothing. Still waiting and hoping for help and a satisfactory resolution to this.
Seems like a pretty good app so far, it handles both me and my partner using the scales without getting confused as to who's device the data needs to go to. The one thing j would say, is that the trends data is not scaled properly on the x axis (time), so measurements taken 2 days apart and 2 months apart appear the same distance apart on the graph, which I think really inhibits looking at the trends properly.
Pretty good app. Odd bug, won't let you set a weight goal of 180. It automatically changes to 179.8 when you select 180. Also did not save my digital measurements from their bluetooth tape measure. Filled out every box but apparebtly the data was not saved. Very disappointing when I went to update my numbers and saw blank boxes with no measurement history.
Great scale works 90% of the time only has a issue once in a while just have to reboot app. As for the tape measure I wish there was a way to force the screen to stay on. As you are measuring you have to constantly touch the screen or it turns off and locks. Also have to pay attention closely to measurements as they seem to change and you have to reset the measuring device.
Update: They obviously do not actually read these fully fyi. I figured it out on my own thanks to Reddit. No thanks to your "instructions" Love it for my scale but can't figure out how to connect the tape measure. The pictures on the instructions don't match the latest version of the app and my bluetooth keeps saying to check the settings of the tape measure... which has no settings.
Need to invest in a website to view stats like the leading companies do. App does not sync and customer service puts you straight to voicemail. Using android 10. Bluetooth is on. Reinstalled app, rebooted phone, paired and unpaired device. Received scale yesterday, synchronized immediately then it took 45 minutes of troubleshooting to get it to sync again. Woke up this morning to find out won't sync again. There should be an option to force sync. No errors just completely unresponsive.
Honestly this product isn't very good. I've used this thing for almost 3 years while I lost about 90 lbs over a year and then started bodybuilding over the last 2 years. The body fat percentages and lean muscle haven't nudged a bit and Ive made huge progess recomping. Totally inaccurate. The app presents graphs that plot the x axis points equally distant, whether you measure 1 day apart or 1 month apart, making your graph trends over time pretty useless to look at. Buy another product.
