Such potential. I'm not getting all the workouts or exercises on the app. They are visible on the site but not on the app. Ex. There are over 90 ab exercises on the site and only 18 on the app. A friend emailed me a workout and I can only access it on the site which makes the app useless.
Full of adds even after I have subscribed to certain plan. With every click there is a add.
Major no-go: Incessant ads! Why do that when the only way to use this app is through paid subscription? Upsides: A decent number of exercises. Great visual depiction of muscles targeted for any excercise. Text guides are good. Downsides: Nearly all of those are available only if you subscribe, which with currency exchange rates is expensive. Animated guides for any excercise are quite basic. If you aren't already aware of the correct form, they won't be much help, so injury is quite possible.
I downloaded the Android version & purchased the upgrade after testing several other apps. A solid 5 stars if 2 issues are fixed. Pretty easy to learn & build your program. The support videos are short & helpful. I like the timers, log & exercise descriptions. 2 issues. 1. The app crashes a lot & shuts off during my workout. I have to restart, but it does save my progress. 2. The set & rep data displayed on the exercise is often incorrect. I have to swipe back & forth for the data to correct.
It's good, but not great. Subscription should have individual split session recommendations. A REAL simple change would be adding an optional alarm which sounds at the end of the time frame. I'm finding certain exercises are missing or have different names (I think have I built coding that searches for the alternative names could easily fix this). Edit after a few months. This app is clunky as and now has cleared all my workout history. Would love a refund but doubt I'll get. Save your money all
From what I looked at this is very well designed, simple and intuitive UI & has detailed customization options if you want it. That said, Ad frequency makes it nearly unusable without the paid version - to the point I'm not willing to suffer through the free for a good evaluation prior to paying. Uninstalling for now - may come back.
I had this app about a year amd a half ago and it was far better than it is now. Most of the exercises that are locked without pro used to be included in the free version. Honestly not worth downloading, so many better fitness apps out there. I've been told by the developer that this isn't the case however I remember having workout containing exercises that are no longer available via the free version of this app.
The ad pops up right when you're about to tap an option in the bottom tab bar. That's terrible UX and probably forbidden by every ad network. Also: both ads model and subscription model? Choose one and stick with it I'd say.
This could have easily been a 5 star app but the cardio exercises didn't have descriptions or animations. All other fitness apps with a cardio category also include descriptions for correct positioning form, as well as an anatomy diagram showing affected muscles.
Not a bad app but it would be much better if it would be easier to personalize your own workouts instead of editting a pre determined workout at the end of the workout it would also be nice to see total weight lifted and calories burned.
This is a great app for beginners ,but most important and basic exercises and other features are locked and can only be unlocked with payment. That's the only drawdown to me. Its a good app 👍🏾
Good app that's partially free, it's definitely still good as a free version and you can make your own workouts which is good. Ads come sometime but they are only 5 seconds long.
good enough free app, but everytime I shut the phone at the logs section it takes you back to the page with all the workouts meaning you have to select your workout then exercise between every set, which is quite annoting (Galaxy s9)
OK but messy and bit old fashion graphics. Could do with more intuitive controls and slicker how to do exercises -maybe through very short video doodle ? It takesa few minutes to synchronise from the Web app to the mobile app
Sadly no longer works. Won't even open, the unit setting screen just crashes the app. As a pro customer paying a subscription i look forward to this being fixed
Easy to use and quick take quick references. Four stars only because you have to pay for the full fat version, having said that still a great app.
This would be a great app if it was much more user friendly. Directions are nonexistent. Commands don't work on my PC
I love this app. I during use to when introduce to iPhone 3gs.
Even basic exercises like deadlift are behind paywall. And while I'm OK with paying for a good app - subscription-based model for basic workout tracker is easy too greedy.
I have been using this app for a while and really like it. It's simple and very functional, allowing me to record my workouts and see my progress.
Great app, would upgrade but membership fee too high!! £4.49 per month. Not really sure what warrants an annual fee of £50+....
Don't waste your time with this app. Too many better ones out there. Try JEFIT first, that's what I'm sticking with after trying 6 apps... This one was the least helpful out of all 6.
Free use doesn't work anymore. Ads do not load, I can't add anything. Reinstalled, reloginned - didn't help. This bugg is often last days it is permanent!
