FitToFit - Fitbit to Google Fit

Transfer your fitness data from Fitbit to Google Fit.

FitToFit can handle:
- steps
- activities
- distances
- heart rate
- sleep
- weight
- body fat
- food
- water

You can select and change the data types in the app settings.

NOTE: It may happen that the data you transfer is not immediately visible in the Google Fit app, because it will take a while for all the images to be updated. Some data types are currently not displayed in the Google Fit app graphics (such as body fat, food & water).

With the AutoSync feature, the steps can be automatically transferred from your Fitbit account to Google Fit. If you prefer manual synchronization, the reminder function helps you to remember this. Both functions can be activated under the menu item "Settings" when required. The AutoSync function allows you to choose between different intervals.

This app is available in English and German.

Sorry for the 2 stars Tom. It didn't get 1 star because it actually did transfer 2 weeks worth of back info. I asked it to transfer back to January 1st It gave me the info about needing to import that much info. Fitbit's limits for hourly transfer will be done every hour til done. It'll take 5 hours. My tablet was at 50% when the process started and I went to bed, figuring it'd be done in the morning. But nope, 8 hours later it said that it was at 0/5 progress. Now it's at 37% power. Looks like it was trying to do something, with my power down that much. So I now have my tablet plugged in. I started the process all over again. I'm watching it. The Import Data page doesn't change. Doesn't look like anything is happening. I see the pause and stop buttons and it says, "Import is running!" But an hour later it still says 0/5 progress. If it actually does what it's supposed to do, I'll be glad to raise the rating. Heck, even if it doesn't go back 2 1/2 months, but does sync every 30 minutes, I'll be satisfied. It is off to a bad start though 😉...Ok, it's finally showing progress 1/5...So it took almost 3 days to transfer everything from last Sept (when I started using Fitbit). I love all the info it transferred. BUT as several other people have mentioned, The new data isn't auto updating. Seems that nothing is auto and everything needs to be transferred "manually". Still, it wouldn't be possible without this app. So you get a 4. Fix the automatic stuff and I'll give ya a 5 😅

I've been using FitToFit for some time to import weight data from Google Fit into Fitbit (I'm using a non Fitbit scale) but since Jan 24 this has stopped working and only exports data from Fitbit to Google Fit. I've uninstalled and reinstalled and disconnected and reconnected apps with no success. It seems the app now only transfers data from Fitbit to Google, not the other way.

I am giving this one star because I am hoping to get the attention of the developer. The app is not reading my Fitbit steps at all, I have tried everything I could think of. All the permissions are allowed, everything is linked up properly. I can input steps manually into Google Fit through FittoFit but this defeats the purpose of it entirely to me. Transferring data doesn't work as all my Fitbit step counts are stuck at 0, even though I am regularly doing over 10,000 steps a day. And yes I have tried turning my phone off and on again ha! In theory it's a great app, but it's not working.

I get a growing discrepancy between steps/distance between google fit and fitbit if I run an autosync of half hour intervals. Google gets an imcreasing lead on fitbit. Must be double counting somewhere. I have both devices with me 95% of time. I will try setting back the sync to once a day to see if it improves accuracy. Otherwise an useful app!

I am having the same problem as James Barret. When it syncs it adds a random value! For example, one day my Fitbit tallied about 4000 steps, and Google fit about 2600, because my phone was lying on the table for 1300 steps that I took. But when I synced it, now Google fit says around 4300 steps. Where did the extra 300 steps come from??

It's a good way to transfer my data on my Fitbit and Google fit, but the down side is that it keeps repeating synchronization twice and sign out of the account every two weeks it's really annoying.

This app used to be amazing and did just what I needed it to do - auto sync my steps from my Fitbit to Google Fit. Now, however, my steps still go from my Fitbit into FitToFit, but FitToFit no longer auto syncs to Google Fit even though the settings are to do so every half hour. If I open FitToFit, then it will sync. It used to do so without me needing to do anything. Please fix!!

Initially, I got a 502 error after pressing "login with Fitbit". Then, after quitting the app and clearing its cache I couldn't log in to my FitBit account as 2FA wasn't working (literally didn't accept my confirmation code). After I removed 2FA and waited some more time, I finally managed to grant all needed permissions to FitToFit, and it seems working fine.

Works well enough. Don't like that every so often I have to reauthenticate with Fitbit, but I doubt that is a problem with the app and more to do with Fitbit, but still annoying.

Good app to send data from fitbit to Google fit. 4 out of 5 stars because it doesn't sync the period tracker from fitbit. That would be nice to have.

Sync data smoothly. This app does what it's supposed to do... Synchronization of your fitbit data onto your Google Fit dashboard. It does it without bugs, fast and even does it automatically so you can just set it up (very easy by using the way), and go on with your life. It's without advertising, without costs. Donations are definitely well deserved.

Doesn't work with Samsung Fit, but now I have it working! I have to do it manually, but I'm also syncing with another app, so I have no complaints at this point. Did lose all my Fitbit data at one point, but I can live with that, especially since it was my fault. 12/2021 Working perfectly and has been for quite a long time! Did stop when I got a new phone, but easily loaded everything I missed!! FIVE STAR FOR SURE!

Absolutely love this app. It's a set and forget app which is so convenient. Love the option to change sync intervals.

I wish the app would warn you about the data transfer limit BEFORE allowing you to select a date range to sync and it should also give you a notice saying that 150 days is the limit per hour. I tried syncing everything at once and now I'm in limbo because of this limit--I can't see any data at all, I don't know what has synced, if anything at all, and there is no way to change the date range that I can find.

Overall great experience. Very easy to use. If set up correctly, it will update automatically and you'll never think twice about it. The only thing that is preventing me from giving this a full 5 stars is that nutritional information doesn't seem to get imported from the Fitbit app to Google Fit, even though it shows in the list of data being imported.

So I downloaded it, and it failed to work. The redirect in my web browser kept failing, it showed just a blank white screen and wouldn't move from that screen. I did a Google search and for some users it just fails. As far as I can see, this bug has not been fixed yet. I guess I am one of those "lucky" few. 1 star until they address this issue. I am using a Galaxy Samsung 7 Edge, if I ever get a response.

This app does exactly what needs to be done. All the complainers out there should remember that the developer did a work around of a feature not offered by Fitbit. Great work. Yeah sometimes the sync does not automatically happen at 00:01 daily, but it will sync (if not manually) at one point. By the way keep in mind that the Fitbit itself sometimes does not sync on Android. Great job, well done. Thanks for this. Enjoy the coffee I sent your way.

Until Fitbit decides to integrate with Google Fit, this does exactly what we expected from them. 5/5. Bear in mind that it does take a while when importing (some 5 seconds per day of data if you choose all the categories), so pick only the categories you need and only for the days you need if you want to speed things up. There's also an import feature that does the same but in the background, so maybe use that if you need to import all your history.

I've been looking for a way of syncing my Fitbit Charge 3 data to Google Fit and didn't think it could be done but here it is. Excellent app that's easy to use, has auto sync so I just leave it and it does its thing in the background and no ads! I'll be making a donation to the developer and you should too. Thank you. Highly recommended.

It's really convenient and makes everything a lot easier, but I wish it worked where the data transfer could go both ways. My fitbit isn't compatible with my phones sensors so my steps are never logged. If you could make it so google fit also transfers info to fitbit it would really make it perfect to me. Thanks for the great app nonetheless!

Sco. B. Jun 14, 2020

Perfect! Does exactly what it says it does. At first I didn't see the data from Fitbit in the Google Fit app however, the next day it was there. I manually synced one or two more days then turned on the auto sync function. Auto sync has performed daily since. I can't expect anything more than that.

Ale. K. S. Jan 3, 2019

It works, but it's incredibly frustrating that you have to log back in so often. The app does not give you any reminders or notifications whenever a login expires, so unless you're paying close attention every day, you might suddenly end up not having data synced for a while until you realize/remember that you have to go sign back in.

App has stopped syncing body weight entirely. It just reports "-" for each transfer, when there are definitely entries in Fit for weight. I got this app to centralize all my data in Fitbit, and when it was working I loved it - but now a key function has stopped working. My smart scale syncs to Fit but not Fitbit, so this was my main way to consolidate that part of the data. Please fix!

Clear, simple, works exactly like it's supposed to. I use it to sync my fitbit steps to Google Fit so i can upload the data to participate in some competitions that only recognise Google stats. honestly wasn't expecting to find an app to meet my needs, much less one that works so seamlessly. Dev even thought to provide a daily auto sync option for forgetful people like me. Thank you!
