A lot of times they are on their game but there has been times when I've ordered way in advance and have waited for a long time inside the restaurant and it wasn't even busy and this is after I tipped them. I don't do that anymore until I get to the restaurant and judge the service but to me they have the best burgers and fries around!!
Store was closed. The order was accepted and my card charged. I had no idea the store was closed until I received a picture of the notice on the door by the delivery person. There is no way to cancel, refund, or contact anyone on the app.
They have really good freaking food. I understand the idea of paying one price and getting unlimited toppings, but i feel that If you get something PLAIN with no toppings, then it should be a lower price. Other than that no complaints. π π
Keep in mind this is a rating regarding the APP & not the restaurant, however if it Were for the rest. it would be hands down 7 stars (out of 7).. and I'm just being strickt today The only minor fix the App could possibly benefit from, might be too include a way to add "grilled" to all the toppings, (as is possible in person). But this burger place is by far THE BEST EFFING Burger I've tasted yet, same I'm something of a serious good critic of coarse. π

The app is good. Just don't order for delivery through the app. So not worth the effort. I made an order for delivery, paid my money, and never received my order. I tried calling, and all I got was the runaround. There is no way to get in contact with corporate. So, I'm stuck trying to figure out how to get my refund. If you can't order delivery through the app, then don't offer it.
Can't use it, the app refuses to let me pay for my order, saying I need to put an expiration date in the future even though I did. It wouldn't scan my card either, just sat there even though the rectangle was complete. I used two different cards and could not order my food, this is basically useless
Nice app! Pretty easy to use. I like when I'm signed in that I can have an order as a favorite and easily order that or other past orders again. Love that getting my fav fast food is super easy! A suggestion/feedback: it would be great to have the menu accessible to view without having to start the order process. And also sometimes the "we'll let the merchant know when you arrive" active alert thing is a bit glitchy and doesn't update/I can't make it go away for a while.

Thank you for adding partial payments/multiple cards in the app.) Great food, mostly OK app. I would add the ability to pay with more then one card, as gift cards can't be used if the remainder of the gift card is less than the total due. Also would like to see purchase of fountain drinks in app. Just more convenient that way. π
Nice to be able to order dinner as you get off work and pick it up on the way home. EDIT: App no longer works on my A71 5G w Android 11. Opening the app just goes to a black screen, then message appears saying that the app is not responding. I now have to go to the web page to order. Same result as using the app, just a few more steps. Hope this is fixed soon.
Lemme know when y'all can get groundbreaking technology and can add the option for "extra cheese". No idea why it's not an option on the app or on the browser..
The credit card scan feature didn't work for my card. I don't think there is or I couldn't figure out how to choose "all the way" as topping ingredients for the burger. I think if it's offered on the menu at the brick and mortar it should be available to do on the app as well. Not sure beyond that because I didn't get to actually place in order through the app. I'd imagine it might be decent with some fixes.
They say review us in the app then low and behold there is an error. Shocker. I ordered online and it said 8 minutes so I came to the store and they said they were waiting on fries so I said OK and waited. Then he gave me the nasty fries that were sitting in the tray and put the fresh fries on top of the nasty ones. That's not good service. I can't believe I tipped them for that
App charged my card but the store had no record of the order. I wasted an extra twenty minutes in store waiting for in-person order, and now have to spend more time disputing the charge.
Not really worth it...you wait pretty much same amount of time....no points or rewards....plus my order was erased twice and had to reenter it...not worth it.
Why would you remove the ability to add extra cheese or grilled jalapeΓ±os? There's no reason, especially when both options are listed in restaurant as options
Ruined the app by taking away lots of customization options. No more "light and extra" toppings or condiments. Also removed several toppings and condiments along with extra cheese. No rewards program of any kind and no way to save favorites. No reason to have the app it's now a waste of space. Uninstalling. Real sad when BK, Sonic, McD's and Wendy's have rewards and options for "light and extra," but $10 burger 5 Guys can't manage it!
Could not add tip as it would not allow dollar and change to be added. Only dollars. No fries available as their fryer was down but did not explain that on app. Had to call store.
This app has gotten worse. You used to be able to choose either "extra" or "light" for ingredients (e.g. extra pickles, light onions), but now you only have two choices - take it or leave it. No matter how far in advance you submit your order, they don't start your fries until you walk in the door. This is both good and bad. Five Guys takes a lot of pride in their french fries, and rightfully so, so waiting to make them ensures that they're as fresh and crisp as possible when you get them.
Garbage. Add all the funding options you want - multiple gift cards, credit cards, paypal, no problem. Until you try to place the order, and are given the ability to choose just one of those payment options. Pro tip - DO NOT get a gift card for five guys if you need the order delivered or even placed ahead of time.
Online order is useless! You get there to pick up and you still have to wait awhile for some odd reason. You may as well just go in and order. Takes just as long. The food is great though.

Poor. The apps switches delivery to pick up automatically when choosing recect order (though the order was delivery). Then franchise "can't refund" because they don't deliver and don't know how the app works and tells you to contact your bank. Don't offer something you can't replicate then make difficult for a customer to rectify. Garbage.
