Five Heroes: The King's War

It's really well made, in the beginning it's very satisfying and fun but then the plot becomes lazy and repeating. Killing hundreds of the same type of enemies to find the 20 amazons... is veeery boring. Daily quests ate also repeating and most characters are not much appealing. After you find the 5 bests every battle become too easy and not exciting... It's a really good games and with good ideas, but the whole thing done in a lazy way I'd say.

The new update changed a unique game into a linear format resembling Candy Crush. Instead of exploring the map to find a route to your next objective you simply move to the next point along the storyline. I understand the need for adjustments and keeping things interesting, but this feels like a complete overhaul that didn't need to happen. Improved performance, a new episode, new characters or greater availability in the store would have been plenty. Just doesn't feel like the same game.

I'm actually really pleased with this game. It feels like there is a paywall but it just takes some planning and upgrading other heroes. No hero is "terrible" but some have better skills than others and are harder to aqcuire. However maxing out regular characters really can beat out most of the campaign and in the arena. I can't wait for more content to be added.

Edit: The latest update looks amazing! Unfortunately, the game will now consume too much of my time. Also, it's a bit confusing getting used to. So, goodbye, it's been fun!! A truly free game (a paid version is available), only videos to watch are if you wish to double what's in a chest, or experience & money. Every improvement truly is, or they fix it fast, and they reward you every time! I wish every game developer was like this team!! Kudos to the game developers!

Eliminating the barracks option for training has made the game easier however it's also made the game a pay to play as the cost of training dummies increases each time you purchase them. Sooner or later you'll have to buy diamonds in order to train heroes or wait to accumulate enough which will make progress impossibility slow. Like many other games this one started out to be great even for those who don't want to make in app purchases however, greed has ruined it.

Atm I'm still trying to save "Sister", I defeat all 4 groups of skeletons and my game freezes, every time. I've uninstalled and downloaded again, same issue. I remember the old version was alot more difficult than this one. But at least it worked.

Changed my review to 4 stars! As I said previously, I really enjoy this game. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the incredibly low amount of in game currency you get when paying for it. I've made a few purchases already, and I want to support the developer by making more! However, I would like my money to go further than it does. Please keep improving the game!

Really like this so far. Spent 5 bucks for event pack. Really needs more of a walk thru on most stuff. Really confusing with the lvling up. The time wait thing on the stats. You need to get to get rid of completely. It's stupid and alot of people will be complaining about it. The point of lvling up is to be rewarded with higher stats and skill points per lvl to be used without a timer. Whoever thought of that idea should be fired. Your gonna lose most your players because of it. Ty

The game I enjoy very much. The only real problem Iseem to be having is every time I try to do the haunted woods campaign it goes to the cut scene with the farmers sister and the the screen goes black. I thought maybe it was a loading issue so I sat there watching a black screen while the music played for 30 minutes.

The new version wrecked the game. Star levels will take a long time. Just fights in the campaign are jacked. What 1 hero could do now can barely be done by a strong group of 5. Unless you fight every battle and don't use the quick feature. Opening chest and anvils are stupid now. It feels like they developers made a great game but were unhappy it wasn't making more money. So they took and messed up everything that was good just to get us to pay more.

Has potential but crashes alot,so bad review I never passed the first level I kept crashing why?and is this a spin off of raid heros total war?same exact characters ECT.fix your game way too much animation going on could did better by have smaller guys and art too much detail to process alot of phones will suffer.maybe this will work PC but you guys dropped the ball on launch

Inventory is missing or at least hard to find. Just put it at the bottom lmao. Gameplay needs more engagement. Also, I think the landscape orientation works better in this game than keeping it on portrait. Overall 2.5/5 but can't score 2.5 so I'mma give it a 2 for now.

Thank you <3 Reply: the new update is not handy its difficult tu manage the line up, and so laggin, it's a mess. It's a whole new game, i like the old ver. it takes lots of time for grinding and understanding the game mechanics, with the new update everything changes i don't want to spend countless sleepless night to adapt with the new system, it's so chaotic. sorry man :(

I actually really like this game and it doesn't rely on real money to progress. However, I can't seem to figure out how to get all 93 stars for Midlands part. It says that I need to defeat all enemies in lvl. 25, but there aren't any enemies in that level. Is this a bug or something? Please help.

Great game so far. There are a few bugs in the programming here and there but nothing that dampers game play. The best part is there is no push to invest money. Investing money can help you move through the game faster, but grinding is a viable option and even fun. There was a new update that has changed the format of the game and it has made it very difficult to do most things. If you are ready to invest a lot of time into a game this is the one to do it.

As a free player, it is quite possible to grind all you need to complete the game. It is quite fun, the energy restores fast enough. Easy to get Hero orbs if patient. Arenas, events, campaigns, expeditions, gold mines. Many ways to get resources free. Good job with this game. I really enjoy it.

Enjoyable hex based squad tactics game with lots of different methods to upgrade, unlock and improve. Customer feedback on faults are resolved quickly and efficiently and the game has definitely got a tick in my vook

This game deserves 5 stars review as it's engaging and when the issue occurred I received a quick response from developers team. From characters development through HOMM like battle map to the sounds, there's nothing to complain about. I already recommend this game IRL because it's worth a recommendation 😊

Crashes constantly getting progressively worse with each update. Cannot even go into in game support without locking up. They turned what I considered a 5 star game into one that is nearly unplayable. Trying to collect on current event kicks me out now. It has turned into a game I use to spend hours playing into one that has me looking for another game worth playing as much as i use to enjoy 5 heroes.

The game is fun. The inability to fix bugs ruins it. Having been locked out of content that I unlocked, even after a fix was announced, I'm done.

For someone who has played the game many months ago, it feels weird to go from free roaming to episodic sections. However, the game seems to be as good as it ever was! One of the best games on the play store!

Fun game some of the time, but expect your progress to be reset repeatedly with no notice. Also expect bugs everywhere preventing completion of the game.

Interesting take on classic dungeon crawler by hybridizing with a collector card style. First I've seen so far and very entertaining. No pay to win strategy or overly intrusive ads. Good job to the devs.

This is a great game. Unfortunately I don't think anyone can play it. The game constantly crashes. Trying to play online is a waste of time and playing offline denies the player a ton of rewards, then crashes again. Please fix these issues devs because I would like to play this again sometime.

The game is freezing up almost every time I play now. This has been a favorite game of mine for some time now, but getting frustrated. I also can't understand getting beat by a team with 15 to 20k less power than my team. I get stats matter along with weaknesses and strengths against other characters, but 15 to 20k difference. I'm not talking a, just barely beat either. A thorough, they lose 1 guy to my whole team kind of loss. That makes me want to uninstall and call the last few years a waste.

An excellent tactical combat game. A wide variety of heroes and enemies provides a lot of content to explore. I also like the interesting terrain and the large battle maps. This is one of very few mobile games that actually does tactical combat well.
