Fixed 4.2 Clock Widget

REMEMBER: You must add the Fixed 4.2 Clock Widget to your lockscreen in order for the application to work as intended!
Update: I am aware of the issue with the settings application crashing on 10 inch tablets and I am looking into it.

This is the Android 4.2 clock widget, but with the entire time displayed in Roboto Light. It can be used as both a launcher widget and a lockscreen widget. To use, select "Fixed Clock" as the widget from the launcher (to add it to your homescreen) and/or the lockscreen (to add it there). There is also a "Fixed Clock Center" widget which additionally vertically centers the widget in whatever space it has available. This will NOT change anything simply by installing. You must add the new widget manually.A Daydream is also available.

You can also configure the clock font to be Light, Regular, or Bold and configure the date and alarm to be Condensed Bold, Condensed, Light, or Regular. You can also make the date and alarm all caps or not. You can also choose to never show the alarm.

If you like this app and think that it is worth $1.99, a donate version is available.

Starting in Version 1.2, you can configure a color for the clock, the date, and the alarm. A preset list of colors is available to everyone and those who have the donate version can select from a full color palette for each.

When you extend the widget in the lockscreen by swiping down with the finger, I should see the additional city clocks which I have set up in the Clock app. But in this widget it is not happening. Also there is an option to display your name in the lock screen if you enter it under "Owner Info". This widget is not displaying that. Implement these and get 5 stars :)

Looks great and is really a great fix for the original clock. But a pain in the rear when you have to delete and then re-add the clock widget for every minor change, including turn alarms on and off. It supposed to auto update but doesn't. Fix this and 5*'s

Great replacement clock widget. The bold hour and regular minutes of 4.2 is just weird looking. This fixes that quite nicely. If used on the lock screen the alarm info updates, but if it's used on the home screen (at least in Apex launcher) it does not update until one of the widget settings is changed.

there should be options to change font.. to that of the ICS (if no copyright issues).. also the mention of adding shadows would b great to. The alarm does update, just takes a while to... also would be nice to have the possibility to add am/pm to the time as well. So 4* until any of the mentioned r taken into consideration in the next update :)

Just installed it. Seems to work fine. Wish I had this for the clock itself instead of just the lock screen. I truly HATE the new clock look, and wish the Android developers had left the old one in place as an option for people with a sense of aesthetics. Bright white... mixed bold font = hard to read.

Works well as a like-for-like replacement for the default digital clock widget, with some font/colour customisation to boot. The widget is a more reasonable 4x2, instead of the default's excessive 4x3, which is the main reason for installing.

Although it hasn't been updated for a long time, it's working miraculously well compared to other widgets that I've tried on marshmallow

I wish Google would stop changing things without making the changes optional. This widget gives me the options I want. Love it.

For this to be a perfect replacement of the original clock widget, it should also include the multi-clock, multi-time-zone config. Other than that it is good.

I have this app on other things, but does not work with my Motorolla X phone

Installs as app, but does not install a widget of any sort.

Can't complain. Brings back the non bolded hour clock which looks a lot better.

Good! It would be even better if it allows user to add shadow (and shadow color). This is important because for white background the white clock is difficult to see, and other clock colors does not fit the background.

The 4.2 clock sucked, so this is still great

The alarm clock info in the widget is not updating when used on the stock home screen. This has been a problem for nearly a year. It shouldn't take much effort to fix, but this bug has been ignored for some time now...

This is the perfect fix 4.2's clock, next the dev should make a clock app with this font

This app does exactly what it says it does, and I have had no problems with it so far. Fixes the ugly stock clock widget.

Yus. I. Dec 5, 2012

I think Google went too far with the ugly bold font (too thick IMO) and this app does what it says on the tin.

Provides a much needed alternative to the current 4.2 clock widget. This app is perfect for anyone who is bothered by the new half bold-half thin clock. Works perfectly!

please add an option to bolt only hours, like the original 4.2 clock

Would give 5 stars however the alarm status doesn't update unless you go back into the apps settings screen and out again.

And 'owner's info' section on this would make it the perfect replacement for the stock widget.

This is the first app that came out and fixed the "Bold" new look of the Android 4.2 clock widget. It works great!

Finally a fix for the retarded off centered lock screen clock from the ever so stupid 4.3 "update"! A great design and a simple fix to this Samsung 4.3 update eyesore! Thank you for this fix!

If you hate the new lock screen clock widget for Android 4.2, these simple widgets will fix it.

I don't know why this doesn't work on my nexus 7 Orz

Loved the jellybean clock so when I saw the new one I was disgusted. Only thing missing here for me is the ability to hide the launcher icon.
