Software is good but implementing a new account is giving me difficulty. The developer seems to be trying to resolve the issues I'm having so that is a good sign. This is the software I wanted to begin using again from a long hiatus of music making so hopefully my issues will be resolved soon. I really want to continue using FL Studio and from what I've seen with the mobile version it seems to be very intuitive. Hoping I can resume creating music soon. Kind regards
Brilliant workflow, creating new beats is so much faster than the full version of FL and is the best mobile DAW. Apart from that, the mobile team don't seem to care about adding requested features because it would cost them desktop FL sales in their eyes. The synths are quite frankly rubbish. There's a lack of decent presets, no file search, no variable bpm, etc. Have a look at the FL Mobile Forums and you'll see major feature requests from years ago are still not implemented
Incredible app, use it all the time, but the google play migration deleted all my save files despite migrating. I also cannot hear anything anymore, it says that the instruments aren't playing any sound but the keys light up. Playing the song, the seek needle doesn't go anywhere. It crashed the first time I tried to migrate, so that is probably why I lost my save data though.
The MIDI file for one of the songs that I was working on got corrupted! I have no idea what I did wrong... I just went to render the song and save some changes that I made to it, when all the sudden it says that an error occurred while rendering. I try reloading the song to see if that would help, and there's the message. It said "MTrk chunk not found." Is there any way I can recover the file?
I've used different music programs for a while but I find this a difficult app to use. So many times I want to do basic things but there's no way in app to change them or no good tutorial to find out how. There are often times when I will create a melody and then go to change the instrument and find my options limited to pretty much only percussion for no reason. There's mediocre optimization for Chromebook so often as I'm scrolling notes will get randomly placed. I want to love it, but I don't.
I've enjoyed using the App, the only downside that i've experienced is display burnin. I use an amoled display and some buttons are white color in contrast to black and purple. I would like to see a new color layout which isn't that bright. Reply to your comment: The problems are the accents they are in every Theme the same. These cause the Burnin on my srceen.
In my 2 years of using this app, never before have I been so frustrated. Switching from my old phone to my new one was easy enough, Total Commander was useful for that. But ever since the latest update it's only been downhill. First, my imported files stopped showing up completely, even though the songs dependent on those files worked just fine. Now, I'm experiencing frequent crashes as I try to troubleshoot by myself. I love this app, but it's simply not working as of late.
I was always a fan of the version 3.5.16 version of the app but now due to the version 4 update, the theme and interface of the app has caused me nothing but hardship and difficulty with using it, alongside glitches, audio samples not working, song files being lost, among many other things. if there's a way I can get back to the previous version I was most comfortable with, please let me know.
It's an awesome app. I am pleased overall. Although I am now running into some problems with it, after having it for a few months now. The program STOPS running. And a major glitch was the app had ERRORS DURING RENDERING the file to be saved and sent to my Google drive... It completely deleted the file when this happens. And there is NO WAY of recovering the song. SYNCH SYNCH SYNCH often...in fact... after each and every project. I have uninstalled the app and updated it. And it's fine. So far
Going in, I expected this app to be little more than a toy. But this software is exactly as advertised; a complete music production studio. I was impressed that the mobile version uses the same file format as PC, so you can import or export .flv files seamlessly between platforms. I also appreciate that the UI has the same classic feel as PC. I don't usually go out of my way to write reviews, but the people at Image-Line are doing it right and always have been, they deserve the credit!
Okay, the app is fairly good. But it does come with it's fairly share of problems as well. Like for example, to make my music, I make the first version is soundtrap, then I would make a Midi and send it to FLM and finish the song. But now it crashes every time I try loading in a Midi. The worst part is this is my only option, so I have to stick with it. I guess I'll have to make do until that's hopefully patched.
Really useful and effective app, but I have an issue when I try to load in a custom sample. I will upload the audio to 'My Samples' using the Files app, at which stage it sounds just as it usually does. However, once I select the sample within the app, it sounds like some default SFX sound, and I cannot change it anymore.
Absolutely fantastic. I love being able to jot down a quick idea when I am on the go and then import the saved file into the FL studio mobile plugin inside desktop FL studio and continue the project on my proper setup from there. It's super enjoyable to work with on my Oppo find n, where the app has no issues filling the inner screen, and while the touch control is a little hard to get used to, this is android so just plug in a mouse and there's no more difficulty in controlling the app.
New version needs additional work. Hello Imagine Line, first off, I love your software. Been using it for a while with no issues. However, this latest update has been problematic. Im currently unable to properly save .zip archives every time. It simply says: "Failed to export archive". Then, if I save it via flp, when I attempt to reload my project, sounds are missing. Then, I have to force stop it completely to scavenge the last version of my project. Legiti Nightmarish! Please fix. 🙏
Everything else works. It just KEEPS CRASHING. Im on a Chromebook that supports 11 and over. And every minute it CRASHES AND CRASHES AND IM TIRED OF IT. Ive reset the apps settings, uninstalled it, reinstalled it. Cleared Cache. And restarted my device. NOTHING WORKS. I EVEN DELETED CORRUPTED FILES AND THAT DOESNT EVEN HELP. It wasnt crashing before the update but now its just CRASHING ALL OF A SUDDEN.
It does what it needs to do, even though it is limited when compared to PC. The cloud backup is somewhat secretive so it's unclear when something is backed up which can be slightly annoying for large projects, but otherwise a good app.
Been using this app for about 3/4years now and it performs amazing. The only issue I have atm is that some songs I have with vocals can't be exported. They reach 8% and then it crashes the entire app, this was resolved prior to the update recently. Please fix this issue once again
Thanks to Father God and the designers of FL Studio in creating FL Studio mobile, I have been able to create over 120 songs since April 2021 when I wrecked my vehicle due to snow. I first started making music when this app first released, put it in the back because I didnt think I could make it as a musician. Something was birthed in my soul that night I wrecked my car, and I continued on making music after that. Best mobile music app for your buck. I would'nt go back.
Overall it's been well a little hard to learn some of the controls and find where exactly that you need to go to get different sounds but just lately it's been shutting down I've had to redownload it maybe two or three times let's see what this happens this time otherwise three stars maybe three and a half
FL Studio Mobile...its mobile what else can I say. Seeing the improvements like Scales in the piano roll is awesome. More Keyboard shortcut controls would be good. "FL Studio Desktop Piano Roll please" Just keep on improving the app is all I want. I love that I can produce any idea on the go.
I have used a few of these mobile audio workstations. I have a wishlist of my own for features on fl studio mobile... however for what it does do I think it's the best of the bunch. It really is designed to teach you the workflow and try and apply it the same way to each facet of the process. I also appreciate the latest major update adds new features in a intuitive way that fits right in, instead of feeling tacked on. 100% satisfied with my purchase, and eager to see where the devs take this.
