If the widget appears but is "unclickable" a reboot should fix this issue.
If you are having issues with a state not updating, it's not the app, it's probably your governor not posting proclamations. Please contact me so we can resolve any issues.
Let Flagnotify tell you when you need to lower your American and/or state flag to half staff (or perhaps if you own a boat, half mast). We also tell you when to raise your flag back to full staff/mast.If you see something wrong, Email me, negative comments help no one. I currently can't scan for some states due to Governments not publishing the news in a consumable fashion.

Notification all set up, running, time between checks at minimum, delayed for federal lower flag order. Boo.
Doesn't keep up with my state's proclamations on lowering flag to half mast. 3 times in past month missed the mark. I am looking for more dependable app.

I use this for our ambulance station to know immediately when the flag status changes.
This app is just what I needed. Didn't work for Oregon at first, but I got a response from the developer right away. He fixed it, let me know that it was fixed, and gave me a refund.
Works like a champ. Great for pubic safety agencies that want to stay on top of the flag status and to pay tribute towards others.
Does not update for Minnesota. Author e-mailed me directly and reports issue with state website has been fixed. If so, 5 stars for app and 5 stars for customer service.

Because of my personality, if the flag is at half mast everyone turns to me for the answer. I've had this widget for about a year now and it's got a perfect batting average. No more lengthy Google searches for the answer! Someone else does it for me!
Scalia, Reagan, Brussels victims - not a single notification on my phone. Once I click on the app, open up my state then I get status. Trial notification works fine. I would sure like the app to work as its intended and advertised though......
This app once was quite dependable, not so much any more. It seems to notify on the usual holiday and most of the nation wide events but orders for the flag to be lowered by individual state governors are not being sent notification. It's been years since an update has been put out. I'll be deleting and searching for alternatives.
