Porrly designed and optimized app. Absolutely looks atrocious and has overlapping text in various places. Slow and hard to work with. Barely any of this "app" has a true dedicated interface to it, most of the functions just port over to a cumbersome, slow, and broken web client. How can a bank institution have such an absolutely unacceptable interface to their platform???

Can not use the app. To start using the app, you have to scroll thru a very long disclosure document. After scrolling for about 20 minutes, could not reach the end. No way to directly go to end and accept the terms. One can imagine how long will it take to read the document if just scrolling for 20 minutes is not enough. I will say the worst app I have ever seen as I have never seen an app which makes it so hard for users to start using it or actually discourages user from using it.

On mobile deposit, the cursor lands in the amount field, but the field is always populated with $0.00 and cursor lands at the end of that. Would be better to have the cursor land in the field and it is empty, so you don't have to hit backspace a bunch of times before you can enter an amount. Previous versions were the same, so not something that changed in this version.

Only because I cant not give it a zero star. App does not work. Attempt to log in and you get an error occured please call blah number. Uninstalled and tried again with some issue. Horrible !!! Update. been 2 months app still doesnt work all I get when I call is they are aware of the problem. Then fix it about to move banks all together because of horrible customer service. It just shows they dont care about their customers if they have known for months that the app doesnt work

All info is up-to-date which allowed me to see an unauthorized purchase. Customer service contact info was easy to find and connect to. CSR Matthew assisted me in cancelling and reissuing a debit card, reissuing a second card, and instantly gave me peace-of-mind. This app is easy to use. I probably use the Instant Balance the most before making a purchase. Love it!

Absolutely Horrible. I try to log in and it keeps telling me my password is incorrect, and when I go to Forgot Password and put in my information, it tells me an unexpected system error occurred. This has been happening ever since I installed it 2 months ago. I gave it 2 months to fix, and it still doesn't work. Switching banks!!

This app does nothing. It only displays a long list of disclosures. If you scroll to fast it will restart from the top. It you time the scrolling so that it doesn't restart, the app will time out after 20 minutes, which is not long enough to scroll through the disclosures without being forced to start over.

Once I called them and they set up my account it is marvelous. One problem I ran into was a man mugged me in an alley way. It took too long to load the app and get in so I could transfer money to my checkings so he just took the phone. I don't even know how or reviewing this. Otherwise 10/10 on the ease of use.

This app is great! However, the mobile deposit system needs a bit more fine tuning. I took the same picture of a check three times, clearly, before it took. It kept claiming it couldn't see the account number, although it was clearly pictured. Otherwise, great app and thank you!

Doesn't work for the Galaxy A6. I know my login is right since I can do it online, but for some reason on this phone the app doesn't work. I've tried restarting my phone, deleting, waiting, and redownloading the app - I've even called Flagstar twice. It doesn't work. It won't let me log in. My mother has the same phone as me and with it, the same problem.

It says it'll save your username and it doesn't. I've set up fingerprint multiple times. Sometimes it ask for fingerprints but most times it doesn't mean you have to set them up all over again. That app needs a lot of work until then it's really not anything comparable to like what I have with Wells Fargo

Update: Changed to 1 star, havent been able to use the app in months even though I can log in on the website just fine. It's not nearly as good as the old WF app in a lot of respects but at least it works now and gets the job done. I do like the wealth of debit card alert options and options.

Seems just like the website on mobile, not sure what the point is. No mobile deposit and no fingerprint login are huge negatives for me. I also wish the email spending alerts gave more detail like where the transaction occurred and running balance so don't have to constantly log in (manually!) to the app or website. Hopeful this will improve and I'll change my review, but I miss Wells Fargo already and fear I may end up switching to another big bank.

This app is very frustrating at best!! It kicks me out each and every time I log into my account, flashing an error pop-up telling me to try back later! Doesn't matter when I the later is, it always flashes that irritating error window at me. Done with this....Downloader beware!!

I have been very fortunate not to have any problems with the mobile app. But I do have major issues with customer service when they seem not to care about my issues or act on their own without my permission. I have had many other issues with FLAGSTAR Bank and I am not a happy camper with them. I have switched to a new bank last month because of my displeasure with their services and more hassle then it is worth.😠😠😠

I've been using this app since Wells Fargo switched over to Flagstar; with no problems. Now all of a sudden I'm starting to get an error message, I called the # it gave me and the guy couldn't see anything wrong, so he sent it over to technical support and told me to wait 24 to 48 hours for them to call me back to figure out what's going on, but obviously reading the other comments I'm not the only one experiencing this, so it's obviously not on my account- but it's a bug in the app itself.

When the app works properly, it is great. However, 9 out of 10 times, I have to answer a bunch of security questions before I can even get into my account? Even though I've put the right user name and password in. It's frustrating and hard to do when you need to look at your account in a hurry

This app is about as good as this bank. They took over for our Wellfargo branch, and so far it's costly. I have had a bank account since high school and never overdrawn my account, but due to inability to access my account and surcharges I've gotten screwed out of nearly $300 bucks! Awful experience.

This app isn't particularly nice to look at, nothing flowes and seems chunky. Not to mention it NEVER saves the user name and I'm constantly having to refill it out, might I also mention half the time I log in I have to do a verification code to my phone. Very annoying, works fine otherwise.

Although there has been significant improvements to the app since I started using it, I've found that the app is very glitchy. I've been locked out of my account many times, and I wasn't always successful at unlocking the account on my first try. I find the app difficult to navigate. Although I usually find what I'm looking for, it's usually a complicated and confusing process to get to where I need to go. I'm hoping that they make improvements to the app very soon

Couldn't log in. I downloaded the app, tried to log in. It kept saying my username or password was incorrect. I went to the website and logged in. Went to the profile section, checked my current password, tried the app again, same result. From looking at the other reviews, seems it's not worth the headache. Deleted the app.

This app actually encourages bad password handling procedures, since you can't copy /paste complex passwords from password manager apps or even switch apps to enter a few characters at a time. I have to sit in front of my computer so I can log in, nearly locking my account out of I mistake a O for zero or I, or lowercase L or one... . The only reason I use this app is your ATM machines no longer accept check deposit. Fix your login procedures. Biometrics is not the answer, either.

Takes convenience OUT of mobile banking. Constantly getting locked out, have to go through multiple identity verification steps to do anything with it, and the app itself is glitchy. I'm not impressed.
