Really cool service, scooters are fun to use and easy to find with the app. Only uninstalling as I'm no longer on holiday, had no issues with the app and closing my account was a breeze. Setting up was easy and quick, highly recommended :)
Robust and agile app which always syncs accurately with real time performance. I also like that you credit licenses and tools in your app. Nice touch. The credit incentives with your Safety Rewards are commendable 👏🏽
The app is fine, but Flamingo is too expensive. FYI the interface for entering your date of birth is confusing but you just need to tap the year and you can enter the year. From other reviews it seems other people couldn't figure it out. There is one other operator in the city, they are exactly the same cost. Both too expensive. Not worth it
Basically cannot find any info I'm looking for other than scooter eg, level cap' or my plan details.
Fun and no one got hurt. The app is fine, no problems validating it. It's easy to use so far to find, unlock and lock scooters. Trip history is showing my last trip as 9 minutes but billing shows 5 (which seems more correct) so that's a little odd but better than the other way around! The scooter was fine, decent speed even though I'm a hefty lad. Easy to ride.

App works really great and has been designed very well, simple and easy to use and quick registration. I definitely rate this over the Uber scooters, the slowest flamingo dud you get every now and then is generally faster than the average Uber scoot, which makes the average flamingo much faster! Also haven't had any trouble getting refunds on the dud scooters you get every now and then when I switch to a faster one.
Very low quality. The 2 brakes dont brake. To blake suddenly if a car pulls out in front of you, you have to put your foot down. The tires are all worn with bald rubber. When you give feedback they do nothing to improve. They also exalerate very slowly which makes them bad for roads. The speedometer also seems to be wrong. Lime scooters pass by while flamingo claims it's going 25km. They need beter tires and wheels and much beter brakes. They also need to improve when given feedback.
Very bad experience. Scooter shown is no where to find. Not able to lock the scooter after use, always showing network error, tried several times closing and starting the apps and still cannot lock it. Finally got a response from their support team after 40 minutes of trying. The scooter is finally being locked and they only charge me the first 15 minutes use.
The app is great and the scooters are really fast, I enjoy them. However, I don't think it's fair to take away my free minutes without first telling me about the deadline. The Android app didn't use to. show the expiration date. I woke up one day with all my free minutes gone! So I would like to ask for two things: 1.Thanks for showing the expiry date now, but I would like my free minutes back.2.Revise the expiration policy. I understand why the free minutes have expiration, but why the unlocks?
Not sure why there was no option to supply your payment details when doing the set up. A pain having to do it once you've scanned a scooter. Tried three times to ride a scooter and failed each time. I think the first time it said the battery was low. Not sure what happened the following times. The message from the speaker was to distorted to understand so ended the ride. Will try the Jump scooters to see if I have more luck. If the scooter can't be ridden it should say straight away.
Had some technical issues and was charged for a scooter that didn't work hence initial negative review. But they refunded the charge no questions asked. Ridden them a few more times. They are more consistent speed wise and sit in the middle of what you get with limes. The better suspension is nice, along with the electric brake which works quite well. My only real complaint is the brakes feel quite unresponsive compared to cable brakes on limes. I would also like to see them go a bit faster.
Good app. Easy to install. Date of birth entry is easy. Click on the year to access year. You dont need to cycle through month by month. Im 1973 and it took me 15 seconds to enter my date of birth. Nice work. Good app. Good service
Decent app. My phone had trouble focusing the camera on the QR code though. Wish I could've used the tap to focus feature when scanning. Also, pretty poor value for money I reckon. But I guess that goes for all these scooters.
It seems good but when I started it up it states that there is no unlocking fee within certain areas but when I click on a scooter that is within the zone it says $1 unlocking fee. $1 isn't a lot but that's not the point.
Absolutely saved me so much money while my wife and newborn son were in hospital for the week, having to park my car so far away, there was always a scooter close by. All my friends and family bunched together and used my referral code so all my rides were free except the $1 unlock fee which is fine. Awesome experience, highly recommend.
Excellent service beats catching the bus and cheap as. Cheaper than the other scooter companies.

When I was setting up the app, it prompted me to enter my credit card details. So I did. Then the app asked me to enter my credit card details again. So I did. And then it asked me again. This meant I was not able to ridea scooter at all. Disappointing.

Superb app and attractive, uncluttered user interface. Flamingo are now my preferred scooter in Auckland, primarily because they are scattered throughout the suburbs, not just clustered around the CBD as is the case with the other scooter companies. Also, loving the no unlocking fee at the moment!
Not impressed at all so far. failed to send sms, several times, then told me to try again 'in a few minutes' several times and quite a few mins later...still waiting...in the rain I might add.... Guess I'm going citrusy based, that was easy....

The app and software are easy and intuitive, the hardware is reliable. My first time using Flamingo, I have been doing so few times over few weeks: very satisfied. No reservations so far. All good here in Wellington, NZ. Edit: I really love the service, 100% satisfied. Update: lately, their scooters have been a bit tired and unreliable. I hope they will go back to the great service I used to love...
