This app works well on android phone and PC. I have no experience using it on Apple phone. This app is simple and easy to use. I also had problem with connecting to weather but after reading comments I am hesitant to update the software hoping it starts to work. (USA) The app is new to me and may be still being developed but it works well for me. I added new symptoms, foods, etc. without problems. The emails reminders work well for me because I am in the habit of checking my email daily at a regular time. It seems clear to me that the app is designed by and for people that really want to build a highly focused that makes it easy for people to daily record their symptoms, etc. and then visualize their experience over time. I knew I wanted an app like this and am very happy to find Flaredown!

Too time-consuming I assumed that once I put in my conditions and symptoms during setup, the app would save that info for daily check-ins. But that was not the case. you have to retype everything everyday, which is more time-consuming than having a paper and pen journal. I also experienced difficulty with the app saving the check-in. It's a great concept, but the user experience leaves much to be desired.

This app is fantastic for anyone who has a chronic condition, as we get older or unsure if there is something up as you can make this 100% about you and the symptoms you are having, it's a great tracker and the option to write a brief note about the day is really helpful to look back on. It also has the weather which is another thing that is great to look back on. The only thing I would change is rather than an email to remind me I'd ask for a text instead as dont check emails daily

I have such a huge problem with this app. No, it's not because it's a wrapper for a website. And no, it's not because of some technical difficulty. It's because both 'conditions' and 'symptoms' overlap greatly. I often find myself answering both in the same way, creating double data. Another is the daily report whereby I can't state multiple incidents of the same day. Like - fainted: 11:32, 15:27 Or how everything is on a scale of 4 to none. While somethings are actually binary-like, such as fainting. I need an event recorder for these cases. And I really would like to see an option to log events throughout the day. Having a pop up with timestamp and me entering what occurred. Also, the tag page for food is uncomfortable to enter. I don't really know a better presentation. Personal items that I eat are far more common to me then popular foods. And in general the food list is enormous. I really want the developer to see my review, and that's why I gave low score, I understand that that's review that the developers look at more often. I would gladly change the score higher as this app is of great help to me and I use it daily. Thank you very much for the effort in making.

I've tried several different apps and Flaredown is the best for making it easy to enter your data daily, especially if you have multiple conditions. Unfortunately, there are major problems when you export your data for analysis, making it useless for that. Some of the data is just missing. You can also see it hasn't been updated since 2017. My support requests went unanswered entirely. It can still be helpful to record your data because it makes you mindful of what's happening in your body. But you can't do anything with the data.

Very limited, ridiculous symptoms to choose from (10, to be exact. Lock jaw? Sensitive fingers? Weeping? The other 7 are just as random.). Conditions can't be added as promised. ( Cannot add anything - just choose from the choices in the dropdown. What kind of joke is this? People are looking for help, and your app is a huge letdown. Your website had me believing it was going to be pretty cool. Then it looks like undated comments from other users are in the journal. Gives me Locked jaws!

It seems hit and miss whether users will get their conditions, symptoms and meds info saved. Unfortunately, mine did not. Having chronic illnesses means that I do not have the energy to retype multiple items everyday. Shows real potential to be a great app if the developers addressed this problem - it has been mentioned in the reviews for a long time!

Great idea and nicely designed, but the app has basically no functionality. Can't get it to save anything. Freezes and requires you to switch tabs to be able to delete or add more than one symptom or condition. Not worth the stress of trying to get it to load. Very poorly made.

awesome for som someone with chronic health issues makes it very easy to personalize without having to do so yourself. remind you it's up to you whether you choose to enter on that day or not. also if you forget a symptom it suggests things for you as well I'm very new to the app but so far I'm very very impressed and that's not easy! Somethin I've been looking for quite some time. I am happy I stumbled upon it. thank you to the creators and everyone who makes this possible for us "SPOONIE'S".

This is exactly the type of thing I was looking for. It allows you to log/journal your day to day symptoms very easily without it taking ages and being very tedious, like it can be in other apps due to being overly detailed. It takes about 10-15 minutes to set up and then it takes probably about 2 minutes to "check in" each day. There's also a community chat room that intelligently matches you to people with the same or similar conditions. Definitely recommended.

Its really usefull, there is only one thing i'd find usefull to add/change (or it is already possible and i cant find how) that is to be able to change the order in which symptoms are shown in your history, now i mainly compare the ones above each other, so then i could change it so the ones more related could stay together But a really great app!

Horrible app. Constant bugs, won't save my check-in. They ask you a ton of questions then don't personalize or save any of that, laeading you to believe you will have a chance to review and view all your inputs but instead they make you recall the symptoms, treatments etc each day. Way too laborious. I feel I may be better off keeping a journal on my own or making a spreadsheet.

I really appreciate the structure and simplicity/flexibility of this app. But the number of times it gets buggy or won't open or goes from screen to screen so slowly is a bit maddening. Hopefully there will be an update soon to remedy these problems.

BIG FAIL. After initial setup where you enter the health issues, symptoms, treatments, etc.... you can enter your first day's data. Thr next day, the app requires you to RE-SELECT each condition, symptom,, meds, etc. again! It does however manage to store account identifying info including email address and date of birth. What's the point of specifying multi conditions to be graphed if they're not stored? Bad assessment of chronic population's needs and abilities.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I added all my symptoms and now they aren't there. For each day I have to search for each symptom over again and sometimes if won't save the first and let me add a second. I've just downloaded it so I know I have the latest version and my phone is up to date for OS.
