Flashcards Deluxe are incredibly brilliant and incredibly marvelous to use. The learning curve is steep for this polyglot grandmother...but SO well worth the time and effort it takes to learn. This app has incredible features for decks that one can create. "Front to Back" flashcards PLUS up to 5 sided cards if you'd like (sort of 3-D). This is very helpful for to learn multiple writing systems for one language, adding images, TTS audio in many languages, Multiple choice & spelling tests!😇

Not much has changed for 10 years or so but its still the only flashcard app that can be an audio only flashcard app. So weird nobody has tried to add this same featurem

By far the best and most versatile flashcard product I have ever used. It is intuitive to use, and every flashcard can include multiple types of information, pictures, audio, text. There is so much flexibility in this app. Perfect for learning and practicing bird ID, because I can include different pics in different positions and ages, and also sounds. It is very worth the purchase price, and doesn't require a subscription as most do for cards with images.

I needed an app that would allow me to randomize flashcards nice and easily - and this app ticks all those boxes. Bargain price, great UI, faultless!

The only flashcard app you need! After trying multiple flashcard apps when learning Spanish I wanted to find an app that allowed me to upload my own data via a spreadsheet rather than entering one by one. This application does that and more--allowing you to even sync data from your favorite cloud storage!! It is super rich in features and customizable options, so there is a bit of a learning curve for using the app, however once you get over the hump it is an amazing app.

Top notch, learning curve is a bit steep, but VERY easy to create your own set and import. It is a bit complicated because there are so many features, but if you put in a bit of effort the rewards are superb. Would recommend without a dpubt, don't bother with the free version, paid is miles better and you support good developers. I tried loads of different apps and this is the best, don't waste your time looking elsewhere.

I have used your application to study Japanese for several years now. I'm probably on it for about an hour every day. It's great. The flexibility and options to customize is fantastic. It's perfect for how I like to study. I use it to study vocabulary, grammar, and conversational Japanese. I like to go over the words, grammer, phrases that are due in a list form. A large part of what I'm using the app for is to maintain my knowledge. Reviewing then testing is great for that.

This is way better than any other app which are serving the same purpose, in the Google play store. Nice, clear and easy to use user interface. Looks really flexible and customizable. Also it is the only flashcards app that I found with all the functions I needed. When I was preparing for my GRE, I started using the free version and upgraded to Pro! The biggest selling point for me was the ability to play cards reversed, that is switch which side is played first. This allows you to really know the material you're studying forwards and backwards. This app has a gazillion other features that I still have to look into. It is highly recommended app! Thanks to the developer for the hard work and wonderful gift to the world.

Excellent that you can make Excel spreadsheets and upload those instead of having to input one word at a time. Clear instructions provided on website. I really like this app and all the options. I searched a long time to find one with the spelling practice capabilities that you can turn on and off and use to type in characters of different languages. Great support as well.

This is an incredible app. It does everything you'd want a flash cards app to do, and more. The huge feature set does result in a bit of a learning curve, but every menu has a help page with well written explanations. If you're serious about flash cards, then this is the app.

This app has single handedly assisted me with my Chinese language practice more than any resource (software and physical books etc included). Taking advantage of the spaced repetition function faced a lot of time as words you get right get tested less and vice versa. I've had it for five years and it continues to be a daily tool for me. Well worth the cheap price.

I love it so much! I love all the features and I love how easy it is to use. No bugs, no ads, just a lot of great stuff! Worth every penny, and I'll gladly spend $5 to get a great app, instead of waste my time with all the free apps that are annoying.

By far the best app I've ever bought. I purchased it years ago and I still go back to it year after year whenever I need to learn something. Simple, straightforward and it just works. Highly recommend.

Feature rich flashcard app. This is a flashcard app for power users. If you want a stripped down basic app this is probably not for you. If you want TONS of control over how your flashcard work as well as powerful import export features this is definitely the app you want. I have been using the app for two years and if you put in just a little time up front to understand how things work you will reap incredible long term rewards in your studying. I cannot recommend this app enough!!

I have created a bunch of flashcards sets based on screen captures, and now I have the need to move the data to my SD card, but this option arena to be not available. It would be nice to see that feature in future updates. Besides of that this is an Excellent app.

Great app, well documented on their website, but I miss 1 single feature that would make it perfect. Can you please implement boxes? You can select the number of boxes (e.g. 5), all cards start on box 1, if the answer is correct the move to box 2, like this until all cards are on box 5.if you guess wrong the card goes back yo box 1.. I used this in vocabulary trainer app from luxdroid, please Chek it and if possible implement. Update: thanks for the quick feedback, moving from 4 to 5 stars.

Been using for over 2 years to learn Japanese and it's perfect for me. I've made decks with pictures, decks with sound, flashcards with 5 sides and I get the feeling I've only used a small amount of the functionality. The fact that it works completely offline is a huge boon as well.

I'm very pleased with this app. I love the fact that I can backup and edit using Excel in Dropbox for all my cards. Also I've found the speech to text to be very useful. Some bugs, but nothing too serious and I'm hoping the updates will fix.

Everything is good for features, but facing force stop problem in sometime creating a deck or get adeck in shared library, fix the problem

Great app EXCEPT for one serious thing! This app does everything I want and I think it's easier (and prettier) than Anki. But of course Anki is great too, but I like Flashcards Deluxe better. I purchased the app to support the author. But one big problem is, it demands access to all your Google Drive files, or wherever you keep your cards. I guess one way to overcome this would be to save your cards on his server. But you will like this app. UPDATE: I see it is Google's fault and I am not surprised. This is a great app - try it out.

This is by far my favorite flashcard app because it allows me to fine tune the spaced repetition settings. After returning to college in my mid fourties I found my old brain forgot things much more quickly than when I was in my twenties. Being able to adjust the app so it showed me cards more frequently made all the difference. Its not a flashy app but its very powerful.

I have been using this app for about three years now, on several different devices, never with an issue. I'm studying Latin and use it for my vocabulary. It's just wonderful. When I've had problems, the developer has always responded helpfully and quickly. I rarely spend money on an app but this one has been well worth it. And...even better...I've never been asked to review it or rate it. I really appreciate the honest approach to app building. Thank you!

Setting for DerDieDas card backs to be Blue/Green/Orange meant GUESSING that if Back #2 was undefined, then Back #3 might display, but that means #3 cannot be seen in the view of the deck cards, as blank #2 is shown in That view! Setting color for fields 2, 3, 4 was nightmarish ordeal of guess-work as must go to Global settings to figure out how to have 1 deck Custom but some decks not. Full featured app, but those fine features on a gnarly path in a briarpatch ! If not use for a week, forget?

A fantastic tool for helping my kids memorize multiplication tables, states capitals etc.. Many common subjects have flash cards already created by community, just download or create you're own in a spreadsheet. Also has several algorithms to make study more efficient. One of the few apps that are genuinely useful.

This app is feature rich. But more important, I discovered there is a real person who actually took the time to answer my email about a feature. I wrote and the next thing I know I had a response. There are good tutorials, a helpful website and a good user forum of ideas, tips and tricks. There is a community where you can share Knowledge Decks with other learners on many many subjects. I am 66. I decided I wanted to learn how to learn again. I am glad I chose Flashcards Deluxe. So will you.

This is the most powerful and versatile tool for learning. The designer is very responsive and has included many helful features. Too many to talk about, still have not checked out all of them. A plus for learners and teachers.

Outstanding flashcards app! Great for pilots training prep. Highly customizable and full of useful features. I appreciate dark mode and Google Drive integration. Support is fast and responds accurately to concerns or questions. Highly recommend.

Excellent. I have it on my iOS and android devices. Very nice to be able to use it cross platform. The app is pretty stable and have options to make repetition less boring. Well done to the author for having though of all the details to make this a very good memorization tool.
